Hi,I am trying to use Qualtrics so that the participant completes a survey and then a reviewer goes into the Data and Analysis section and approves their response.  What I would like to do is trigger an email to the participant with the reviewer’s response.  I attached a screenshot of what I would like to do.  Basically when the reviewer update Q3 and then clicks Review and Publish, the participant would get an email.  Does anyone know how I might go about doing this?  I am completely stymied.

Hi, I would like to send preview email to pretest my questionnaire (Pilot study). The Qualtrics support website said that I can send a preview email link via the "send preview email" function. I have gone the function in distribution tab but could not find it. Can anyone here tell me where can I locate this function? Thanks.

I’ve been looking at other forum questions and the options in Qualtrics so I think the answer is no, but I wanted to look for a second opinion! I’m building a survey that asks users to comment on any number of metrics from a drill down list. Currently I have a loop and merge setup that asks “How many metrics do you want to comment on?” and loops through the metric selection and feedback block based on that question. Rather than pre-selecting the number of loops, is there a way to have the survey go through the Loop and Merge block first then have a “Submit another” option? Thanks in advance!

 In the first question, you have a matrix table with brand options "A" through "E." Your task is to indicate whether you'd consider buying these brands next time. If you choose either "4. Likely to consider" or "5. Very likely to consider," the next set of questions will be automatically pre-selected for you.  How can I make this logic work?

How can I make this logic work? In multiple choice question, if you select "Other" as the sole choice, the survey will be terminated.But, if you choose "Other" in combination with any other option, you can proceed with the survey.  

Hi there!I have a set of survey results, and am looking at the raw data. I see that in the my raw data some cases have true value for the columns ‘Q_RelevantIDDuplicate” and high values for Q_RelevantIDDuplicateScore - flagging that those cases are duplicates. Wondering what people do out there in the real world with this information. Do you automatically delete responses that have been flagged as duplicates? I’ve reviewed the specific responses and in some instances they appear to be similar to other cases in terms of the answers, but it’s not identical.  I guess my question is also partly, how much do you rely on and trust the Duplicate and Fraudulent response indicators in Qualtrics. Thanks!

Hi all, wanted to know if there’s any way to check for the workflow logs in run history or revision history if created anywhere in qualtrics.Our work system consists of ticketing process and workflow is created which calls for the API as per the scheduling set in qualtrics. Now since qualtrics have created a workaround around for the tickets creation failure and now the tickets are on auto retry for upto 24 hours.i wanted to check if any logs are maintained and if we can see on what basis the auto runs for retries are scheduled automatically in the backend for the tickets not created and are in auto retrying state for upto 24 hours.  Please feel free to share if anyone got some insights on it.

Hello All!For Conference/event registration surveys I have multiple choice questions with time slots/topics as response options. Each option has display logic tied to a quota. I have figured out how to set up a workflow that will send me a notification email once any of the quotas are met, however with this solution I will receive an email for every response submitted until all quotas are met and survey closes. Is there a way to only send the notification once as each quota is met (e.g., 4 response options would be 5 emails: 1 for each quota and another for survey close)?TIA for any assistance or workarounds provided! Hi, I wonder if I can import a .txt file with pictures in a simpler way. I use the [[Question: DB]] field name and insert the pictures' URL, but I still need to do it in a manual way (copying, pasting, and corresponding pictures to the URLs). I wonder if there are any easier ways to do this if I upload them to my library.Thanks!

How can I make this work?If you choose options A and C in Q1, you will be presented with a separate rating question for each option (A and C). Q1.if you select A and C, Q2. rating question you will have separate rating questions for A and C.  

I'd like to set it up so that if respondents choose either option c, d, or e, they will be terminated from the survey. I attempted to create a branching logic for this, but it doesn't appear to be functioning as expected.    Any assistance or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

How can I enable respondents to select the size for each individual room in the following question? In the initial constant sum question, you can input the number of rooms, and in the subsequent question, you are prompted to specify the size of each room. I'd like the respondents to see options like"Separate Dining room - 1,""Separate Dining room - 2," and"Separate Dining room - 3"  in the next question. What's the best way to implement this logic?

I am sending a date from one survey through a query string to an embedded data field in a second one. In my survey flow, I have set the embedded data Variable Type to Date in order to use filter associated with date formatted fields. When I use the embedded date field in the second survey in a report, however, Qualtrics displays the value as datetime (2022-03-11T00:00:00.000Z). What I am trying display is simply 2022-03-11. Can anyone recommend the best way to accomplish this?

Hi all -  I am working on a survey for which I’ve added an expiration date in the embedded data. Due to nuances in the process, I cannot use a link expiration is lieu of a completion date because respondents could in theory resume partial responses and complete after the deadline. (Though a link expiration does exist).The “Complete By Date” is pulled from the URL. (format e.g. 9/7/2023) The branch logic checks if “Complete By Date” is less than ${date://CurrentDate/SL} (format e.g. 9/5/2023). If this is true, then they are routed to the end of the survey. Otherwise, respondents can complete the survey.We have successfully recorded responses previously, but this week the branch logic is not performing as expected. Respondents who have a survey deadline of 9/12/2023 are being branched to the end of the survey (as of 9/5). Was there an update to Qualtrics logic that is now causing this issue? Am I missing something obvious i

I have a max diff with 12 statements. I want to be able to have those 12 statements randomized and split into 4 screens (Tasks). I would like to do these an additional 3 times. So, there would be 12 screens (12 tasks) where 4 statements are shown randomly. I would like to do this where no 4 exact statements repeat. I tried looking this up and didn't have any luck. Any suggestions would be appreciated :)

Hi All, I need to use the authenticator in my survey so that users cannot take survey more than one. However I don't want to upload any contact list in the background. Is there any solution for this. I am using anonymous link. 

I have a survey and I have a email workflow setup with a general message setup that has 5 piped text items into the message. The email goes to about 5 people depending on the type of response. For some reason, one of the piped text items isn’t populating into the email. All of the other ones are. The missing text is saving into the survey results. The workflow is to execute immediately. I’ve ran multiple tests and if I change the “To” and “From”  the email populates correctly. Would changing the workflow to execute on a hour delay possibly fix anything? I’m at a complete loss. 

If a survey is based on for example 30 Questions. Is it possible that we get live results and graph on each answers of a question before completing all the 30 Questions? 

Hi Everyone,When I download raw data from our conjoints, I neve get the utility score on a line item level. I can view the utility score as a total/overall or per segment in the conjoint simulator/report. However, it would be very very valuable to have this available on a line item level as part of the raw data.Customer Support told me that this is not currently available, which is a big gap IMO.Is there any plan to include this down the line?Best regards,Alexandra 

Hello, I am trying to pipe in two data fields from a loop and merge list. Importantly, the fields need to be from the same row. So my list looks like this: Field1 (Ice Cream Flavors)                          Field2 (Cities)Vanilla                                                              New YorkChocolate                                                        SeattleStrawberry                                                       Denver First, people should answer a question about a randomly selected ice cream flavor (this is easy by using loop & merge and then randomly selecting to display 1 loop). So far so good. Next, they should answer a question about the respective city that MATCHES the row from field1. So if field 1 has randomly selected "Strawberry” then the field 2 which should be displayed is “Denver”.  I appreciate any help! Thank y
