Hi Everyone, I have 2 related questions. Is it possible to: 1) show all the responses (including the options not selected) indicated by a survey participant on one webpage, after he/she has completed a 6 option multiple choice survey 2) tweak the responses shown (e.g. the person chose option 1 when doing the survey but the webpage shows that option 6 was chosen instead) Thank you for your guidance!

Has anyone tried using javascript with a timing type question? A timing question allows you to enter javascript code, however it just seems to never run. Is this something to do with the fact that with a timing question, nothing gets displayed to the user?

I have a survey where respondents drag and drop items to groups in a PGR question, and have set validation such that an exact number of items is allowed in each group. Of course, if a respondent places more or less groups than the exact number allowed in each one, they'll get an error message upon trying to go to the next page. However, we're interested in two things: a) showing respondents exactly how many items they've already included in each group as they're dragging and dropping, and b) if possible, showing an error message whenever more items are added to a group than allowed (i.e. in real-time, before the respondent even clicks on the "next" button). Right now, we're actually using the PGR question to have people categorize into groups, where the ranking within each group does not matter at all, and as such I made the "ranking" that shows up for an item when it's dragged into a group to be hidden. Hi all, We are using the Qualtrics API to get survey info (via https://yourdatacenterid.qualtrics.com/API/v3/surveys/:surveyId) and use it to render the survey ourselves. One problem we are having is with multiple choice questions. We can see the choices available, but there doesn't seem to be anything that tells us what order they are to be displayed in. If we go and rearrange the order, it doesn't affect the order in which we receive them. Does anyone know if it is possible to get the order of the choices via the API?

Hi guys - I'm creating an 'intent to exit' intercept, and I know that this feature does not work on mobile devices. Does that mean that the intercept just won't show up on mobile devices or does it present itself differently? OR do I need to create an intercept for each device type (mobile and non-mobile)? Hi Everyone, I am completely new to Qualtrics and am trying to create a 12 item questionnaire with a 6-point scale. The challenge I am facing is this: After participants completed the questionnaire, I intend to present them with a report on what their "partner" (actually a programme) has indicated for each of the items on the same questionnaire. In the similarity condition, this report will show that the partner's responses are similar to the participant's. This report will show that all of the partner's responses are only 1 point away from what was indicated by the participant and are on the same side of the scale. For example, let 1 be "completely disagree" and 6 be "completely agree". If the participant chose a 5 on an item, then the subsequent report will show that the partner chose either a 4 or a 6 for the same item. Has anybody ever had the issue where they use a web data connector to connect to Tableau but within Tableau all that shows up are the field names and not the actual data? This is the only survey of mine where this has occurred. The only thing I could possibly think of is if it is because I am using a reference survey, but even then, why would the fields still show up if that was the case?

Hello. Our Qualtrics application works alongside Salesforce and is currently linked to our Salesforce production environment. I am trying to associate it also with our QA and UAT Salesforce environments. I have found that if I link to QA (via Survey/Tools/Salesforce/Setup Link to Salesforce Account), then production stops sending out for all surveys. It seems that there can only be one association at a time. Anybody have any ideas if it's possible to be linked to more than one environment? Thanks

Hello, I have a multiple choice question where you can submit multiple answers. I want to count the number of answers selected in a previous question and save it in an embedded data field for later use. The first part of this is what I am having problems with. I have got to the point where I can save the text of the choices, but not yet any further: ${q://QID368/ChoiceGroup/SelectedChoices} This displays (when used as piped text in a later question) the text of the checked answers, but I just want to count them. Is there a documentation which contains all the possible branches/elements behind ChoiceGroup/... or even QID368/... etc. ? Also I don't quite know where to debug/fiddle with things in general. Currently I use the Firefox console, where I could view the JavaScript code of my question (due to an error I believe). But now I can't access that anymore. I am new Qualtrics and have little experience with JavaScript. Thanks for any help!

Thanks to @TomG, I've managed to get the handle on a slider in my survey to be hidden until the respondent clicks anywhere on the track of the slider itself, with the below: `var q = jQuery("#"+this.questionId); q.find(".handle").hide(); q.find(".track").on("click", function() { jQuery(this).find(".handle").show(); });` While this works great to ensure there is no visual "default" on a slider to anchor the respondent, once the track of the slider is clicked, the handle of the slider shows up on the very left of the slider, so the respondent has to click again to where they initially clicked on the slider (assuming that's where they wanted to place the handle) and then that sort of already becomes the default. So we'd like to go an extra step and have the handle of the slider show up wherever the respondent has first clicked on the track. I want to execute a survey after a visitor is done browsing a page. I cannot use referring url because there are 600 pages in my survey group that don't share a common url string. I am in the process of reviewing the configuration options including time delay, etc. I would love to hear best practices for collecting this type of feedback.

Newbie with an urgent question here. I included a video from my files library in a survey, but the video won't display in a cell phone when it's in the portrait mode (you can't see the play button). Only when you put the cell phone in the landscape mode can the video be displayed properly. Is there any way to have the video display properly however the respondents use their cellphone? I tried the method discussed in this thread: https://www.qualtrics.com/community/discussion/665/resize-video-to-fit-screen-e-g-mobile-phone , but what exactly to add in the "add your iframe or image here" part? Hi everybody, I am looking for a solution in qualtrics to display the number of entered words into a text entry field to the study participant. I already found a JS code that kind of does what I want. With the code in this thread I can display the number of words, however, only on the same page (and same question) as the text entry field is. I however want the word count to be displayed on the next page. Is it possible to change the code so that I can display the number of words entered into a text entry field on the next page? And: Is it possible to display the cumulative word count of several text entry fields of prior pages? I hope I expressed myself clearly enough for somebody to help - I am no coding expert at all! Hello all, At the moment I'm struggling with a Side-by-Side question. In the first column I have two subcolumns where a name and emailaddress can be keyed in. In the second column I have a Multiple Choice option for Yes or No. This works so far. Now I want to retake the response and want to set all options the second column to 'False' (= empty) in stead of displaying the selected choise of the previous response. In the screenshot below it's the column 'Send e-mail?' should all be empty. Or the column 'No' should be selected by default. ! How can this be done? What Javascript should I use? I've tried this with: this.setChoiceValue(1, 1, false); but this did not work. Thanks in advance

We are currently setting up Adobe Analytics to work with our new Qualtrics instance. One of our surveys for a mobile app is not deployed via Website Feedback, but rather by our own popup which links to the survey URL. According to the documentation at https://www.qualtrics.com/support/integrations/adobe-analytics-integration/, it states that if an organization uses the Marketing Cloud ID (which we do), then we need to set the Server Side Beacon. However, it also adds "As a note, this setup will only work if the survey is distributed through Website Feedback." So my question is - how do we pass the data in the survey to Adobe Analytics? Do I enable the server side beacon, or do I follow the instructions to enable it without the server side beacon?

I want to be able to take the data collected from a survey and have it added to an existing calendar event in Outlook. Is this possible with Qualtrics? If not with Outlook calendar is there another calendar that would be able to support this function? Thanks.

In my survey I have several Constant Sum questions where 3 choices are visable. I would like to give each bar their own color. Now they are all green. But I would like to have i.e. the first bar blue, the second one orange and the 3rd one red. How can I setup colors in this kind of questions? See the screenshot below. ! The parent site/page has a user's ID available globally. The survey is triggered through zone code; not sure where/how how to add a query param to qualtrics URL that needs a dynamic value; a given user's ID. The survey iframe can't go look at the parent page due to browser security protocol. So what is best way to get that outside ID to be sent along with a survey? Thank you in advance I appreciate it.

Hi, A bit of context, I am attempting to conduct a qualitative study with a pre and post survey format that is powered through qualtrics. The idea is for me to assess the participants knowledge before and after watching an educational explainer video, then compare the results. A few questions have come up: 1. Is it possible to create a pop up survey before and after participants watch a video? 2. If yes, is there a video format that works best to embed the surveys in? 3. Any other tips as to how I could achieve this? I read some things about iFrames on the community page but I am unclear if that would be applicable to my scenario. I am new to qualtrics and really appreciate any help that you can provide! Thank you
