Hello! I tried to review similar tickets first, but was not able to quite land this one.I have a multiple-choice question that has three options (Content, Feedback, and Context).  This is a multi-select question.Our wish is to be able to see the count of combinations of what is selected (content only, content & context, content & feedback, content, context & feedback, feedback only, feedback & context, context only).  Most simply what we would be okay with is, what % are choosing one option, % choosing two of the three, % choosing three of the three. Ideally, we would view this in a dashboard format but would be okay if it was part of the survey reporting.  Thanks for any insight!

Hi. I’m a researcher trying to create a survey  in Qualtrics. My survey follows the following pattern:Q1: A question with a recommendation (side by side format or 2 statements and one column) - agree or disagree Q2: If disagree with #1, suggest an alternative - this is a text box. If agree skip (through the skip pattern) to Q3, which is in a similar pattern as Q1 and so on…  These questions are categorized in blocks by sub-topic area. For example, block 1 is governance (in the picture above) and has 18 questions (9 sets in Q1/Q2 pattern)I’d like each set (Q1/Q2) to appear together on the same screen in cases where respondents disagree with Q1, thereby negating the skip. However, as seen below, the questions appear on separate pages. Is there anyway to include these on the same page?  

Hi. I am trying to share my survey with others. When I look on the preview pane, this is what it shows, which is correct  However, when I click on the publish on the link to distribute, the starting page is the below  This is after the latest version has been published and the QR code seems to work just fine. Does anyone have any idea why this is so and what can be done to correct this?  Thanks,Karishma

Hello! I am trying to create a loop and merge block where my participants answer either “yes” or “no” on one of the last questions of the survey. If they answer no, the survey should loop back to the third block of questions and continue with the order until the participant chooses yes.I have tried the tutorials off of google and YouTube but nothing seems to be working. It keeps telling me the logic is invalid.How can I fix this issue? Thank you!!

Hello, I am incorporating the GHQ-12 questionnaire into a survey using Likert scale. I am hoping to use the GHQ-12 as part of the inclusion/exclusion criteria, i.e., if participant scores higher than a certain score then they will directed to a “Thank you” message which ends the survey. I am trying to figure out how to do this because I know I can get the scores at the end of the survey, but I am trying to do this during the survey so that participants who do not meet health criteria are excluded for ethical reasons. Any help would be really appreciated as I am new to Qualtrics.  Thank you in advance - I apologise if I have miscategorised this post. 

good afternoon! I’m setting up a survey that seeks responses to a set of scenarios. I want to randomly present one of eight scenarios and ask five questions about it. Then, I want to give respondents the option to EITHER answer the same five questions about a second randomly selected scenario OR to finish the survey. If they respond to the second one, they’d have an option to respond to a third, and so on, until they decide to stop or all eight scenarios have been seen. I found this post which I think may describe what I need to do, but as a new user I am not entirely sure how to achieve what is described. Thank you so much to the community for any help!

Hello,I have two surveys (A and B), each with a section of complicated survey flow (dozens of blocks, several layers of conditionals each). I want to combine particular sections of each of these surveys into one survey by randomly assigning participants to either a block of questions from survey A or a block of questions from survey B. Is there a way to copy in blocks of survey flow logic, or groups of questions, so I can just copy the relevant section from B into A? It would save a lot of time if I don’t have to manually redo the survey flow from the survey I’m copying in. 

Hi! I am designing a survey for my master’s thesis. I am asking people to pick a decision-making process in their organization and then they answer questions about it. I want to give them the option to pick another decision-making process and then answer the questions again for that one.So there’s a question that is “is there another key decision you could answer these questions for?” and if they put yes they should go back to the start of the block, but the fields should be empty so I get a second set of responses (without them having to fill the general questions again).I tried to do it with branching and loop&merge, but it just continues looping even if I press no.Does anyone know a solution to this?Thanks!

So I have a Matrix question with 2 columns of constant sum text boxes.I have set default choices to be displayed in all 9 rows of the first column and I want to disable text entry in that column so that respondent is not able to change those numbers. I have this code but I am unable to rewrite it to only disable the 9 rows of the first columnjQuery("input[type='text']").prop("disabled",true);  

My typical experiment setup includes collecting some basic data, and then have additional quantitative data that is being generated via my experiment. I have been successful in using qualtrics using embedded data to send the quantitative information (encoded as base64) to qualtrics for data collection. My new experiment generates files of quantitative data that is about 2-5MB per experiment. Unfortunately using the prior approach of using embedded data does not help as we hit the limit of the size of the embedded data. Why this is important, is that we do want the participants of our experiment to have a seamless experience with the experiment and not have to manually upload data with potential data entry errors and other concerns. Can you help with Ideas and suggestions on how to incorporate file upload with qualtrics that are automatic in nature.  What are the best practices of creating a pretty automated survey using few embedded data string parameters and a file upload.  Is there a

Is there a way to apply skip logic to multiple items listed in a multiple choice question? For instance, in a list of 10 industries, only 1 is acceptable, the rest terminate. It is tedious applying skip logic to every single one of the options on the list. I know I could make it blah [ACCEPT] and Other [REJECT]  but I don’t want to make it too obvious which selection will allow the respondent to advance.Suggestions, please?

Hello! I own a survey that allows respondents to sign-up for a tour date. Once we are less than two weeks out from a tour date, I remove that tour date from the multiple choice options. However, I’ve noticed that this causes the response summary for previous respondents who picked that choice (the one that I deleted) to show as blank instead of as that choice. Is there a way to remove a question choice from the survey without it deleting all previous responses of that choice?

Additionally, we've integrated a QM script which provides session links, session cookies, and user cookies. Hello everyone,I am building a survey and I am following the required theme from the clients but when I add a back button it looks very different from the next button. Can anyone please help me with it?Adding a snippet for reference below: 

Over the past week or 2 we have been having surveys randomly restart during testing and fielding of surveys. It happens like this: Within the final block of the survey but before the last page, respondent clicks the next button and is sent to the beginning of the survey flow. When re-traversing the survey at this point, responses are already filled and they need to just click the next button. For us this is a major issue, since our surveys can be a bit lengthy, it means we are losing out on respondents who finished and didn't want to go all the way back through. It also isn't a consistent problem, but seems to happen at random. Anyone else experiencing this in either production or testing?

Hi all, I'm not really sure if I'm asking this correctly or if this is even possible I work at a college office where we use a Qualtrics survey to gather students’ information for appointments. The survey utilizes SSO Shibboleth authenticator information. One of the data sets collected identifies a student's school of study. Using pipes texted, this information automatically fills in a Form field on the survey and is included in the survey results. However, our college uses numerical coding to identify the different schools, so the field is filled with a number instead of a school name. For example, the School of Arts is coded as :01 and this is what appears on both the participants side and within the results. Not everyone who utilizes the survey is familiar with these codes. Is there any way to have this information change to the student’s school name? Thanks in advance! 

Hi, I have a list of people that I add into the The Post Survey email Trigger so that they know when customers submitted a new response to survey.But they’re not receiving the email at all even though inside Data and analytics, we can already see a number of responses from customers. Is there a reason why it’s not working as intended?Thanks. 

Hello,I am running a study that starts in Qualtrics, is redirected to a third party, and then returns to a different Qualtrics survey to finish. In order to match responses to the correct participant in all parts of the study, I was wanting to pass the response ID from the first qualtrics survey to the third party and then to a new qualtrics survey. The response ID is passing from the first qualtrics survey to the third party correctly, but when participants are redirected back to qualtrics, a new response ID is created. I tried to pass the response ID from the third party to qualtrics through a query string and capture the response ID from the URL as embedded data, but qualtrics is not letting me do this. Is there a way to pass the original response ID back to qualtrics or should I be trying to pass some other type of unique identifier? Thanks.

Hi,I have created an initial survey, in which I am to group participants, using randomizer to create Group A (intervention) and Group B (control).  I would like to send a follow up task to each group (different task to each) in seven days.  But I do not know how to programme this.  Is this something to do with email contact trigger?I would appreciate your help. I would like to set up a randomized controlled daily diary intervention study. There is an initial survey (the same for all) and then they should be randomized to either getting the experimental or control intervention each day over two weeks starting the NEXT day (not in the initial survey). There will also be a post- and follow-up survey for everyone after the intervention period, plus a daily survey.That means, everyone will receive the same questions, just different interventions each day.How and where do I set up the randomizer for the interventions? And how can I make sure that every participant receives the correct intervention each day according to their group? How can I make sure that everybody receives all surveys?Would appreciate any help and step by step instructions, thank you very much!

I’ve accumulated several images in my library yet not every image is used in a survey. Without having to check them one by one, is there a way to see which images in my library are used in a survey vs. those that are not?  Thanks

Hello everyone, I've created a questionnaire for mystery shoppers to rate their experience in a restaurant. The more "satisfactory" their answers to the questions, the higher the restaurant's score. For example: "satisfactory" = 6 points, "fairly satisfactory" = 4 points etc. I was able to program a scoring system directly on qualtrics. Except that it's possible to select "I don't know" as the answer, which means I'm ignoring the question, and lowering the scale. So I have to calculate the scale by hand using Excel. Is it possible to do a double score? For the total obtained and the scale. Thanks in advance!
