We have many Qualtrics users creating surveys, and it can be hard to keep track. We would like to set up an automation or program that automatically collaborates any newly publishes survey with a master and/or Admin account. Clueless how to do it! TIA

Hi CommunityI remmember a recent Qualtrics product online meeting. They show a feature that will automatically clarify the ambiguous text entry made by customer.For example: If the customer leave a comment: “Bad” the survey will auto detect that and ask a follow up question to clarify that.Can anybody give me the document or the name of the feature as well as the roadmap of it? Hi,I have two longitudinal surveys.I have done the setup of the two surveys like described on https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/common-use-cases-rc/pulling-data-into-a-second-survey-longitudinal-surveys/So I have two datasets, both containing the field “Login ID” by which the two surveys can be matched.Is it possible, and if so how, to run Stats iQ on both surveys, using that Login ID to relate the answers to eachother.So for example, in Survey 1, I have the field Login ID and the question “how satisfied are you with A”.And in Survey 2, I have the field Login ID and the question “how satisfied are you with B”.I want to know if there is a correlation between A and B. I used a mock dataset, where I purposely had the answers on A and B that belong to the same Login ID be similar, so I know that there should be a correlation shown on this mock dataset. Hi everyone,I am planning to run an Adaptive Conjoint study in Qualtrics (maybe also ACBC if possible).According to the Qualtrics documentation, it should be possible to run Adaptive Conjoints in Qualtrics - however when looking through the Conjoint survey module (choice-based), I can’t seem to find any option to adjust the shown attributes/levels according to respondent’s preferences, i.e. making it Adaptive.Does anyone have any experience with this or know how to account for the adaptive bits? Is there maybe another Conjoint module I am not aware of?Thank you for your help!Eva

I have a survey with 3 questions on a page - Q1 is a slideshow of 5 images (scrolling coded with js and html), Q2 and Q3 are simple text entry (numerical) questions (eg. how much would you be willing to pay for the product shown in the images). When I type in an answer to Q2, the text entry field of Q3 automatically starts populating with what I am typing in Q2. Q2 and Q3 do not have any js  - they are default qualtrics questions. If I remove the slideshow (Q1), things look normal. I am able to enter answers to Q2 and Q3 separately. Would anyone know how I can fix this? Hi XM community,I am creating a survey for a research project and would like help on formatting conditional questions. Most of the survey will be matrices with rows = symptoms and columns = rating scales (see example below). However, some matrices will not be applicable to certain participants if they have not experienced a certain kind of symptom (e.g. the example matrix would not be applicable to someone who had not experienced neurological / mental health symptoms). I would like the participant to be able to say ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to whether each matrix was applicable to them (i.e. whether they had experienced any of the listed symptoms). This would save them from selecting ‘NA’ for each row on often long matrices.  I have tried adding a question before the matrix which asks ‘Have you ever experienced *list of symptoms in the matrix*’ and then using display logic to only give the matrix question to those who answer yes. However, this feels slightly clunky as we have to list the symptoms

I'm currently making a survey that requires the respondents to answer multiple choice questions by choosing images. The survey has only 4 questions, and each has about 50 possible images as answers. Two of these images are randomly chosen and presented for the respondent to choose one. That was pretty easy to do, but I have a problem now: is there any way to insert the graphics as choices in a batch? I have 200 images in my library that need to go each into one choice, and I could not find a way to that all at once. I have to insert the graphics one by one, and not only is this time consuming, it is also prone to errors. Is there any way to do it automatically, even if "programatically"?Thanks in advance!

I’m trying to create a survey that will stand in place of a two-person approval process. When one person finishes one block of the survey, it triggers an email to the next person who has to complete a second block (embedded data and a branch in the survey flow). That email will include a link back to the survey. I’m sure I’ll run into plenty of problems with this, if it’s even possible, but the big problem for now is that the fields  ${l://SurveyLink?d=Take%20the%20survey}, and  ${l://SurveyURL}both pipe nothing. They are blank. The field ${l://SurveySessionID} returns a value, but the above two don’t. This happens whether I publish the survey or run it in preview. What might I be doing wrong? 

Hello,  I have a first part of a survey where 4 blocks are randomly presented (out of 10). I want the program to record the order in which these are presented , as I want to present them the same 4 options (in the same order) in a later part of the survey. I know the Flow_ids can be retrieved when we download the excel file which records the order. Is there a way to record it in-survey using javascript? Any help is appreciated!  

I have a question that asks for a date in the standard U.S. format: MM/DD/YYYY. Using JS, I got the text entry exactly how I wanted (see screenshot below).Question’s JavaScript What was also awesome was that it even though it presented the date in the standard U.S. format, it saved the date in the international format: YYYY-MM-DD. This allowed me to perform date comparisons in display logic further along in the survey, using embedded data (see screenshot below).Comparison Display Logic One thing that I have been asked to do from here, however, is to have another text/graphic “question” at the end of the survey that shows the saved date in the standard U.S. format--essentially converting the date back into the form it was initially selected in. I imagine that piped text and embedded data would allow me to easily convert the YYYY-MM-DD date back to MM/DD/YYYY, but I am struggling to figure out the code that achieves this reformatting. Anyone know a quick one- or two-liner that can switch

I couldn’t see that option for Category so posting this under Employee 360 instead. ***Hi, in the survey editor I am seeing a message saying “Carry forward statements - Temporarily no longer available for EX surveys. Replacing them is strongly recommended.” However I have submitted a test response and it seems to be working alright.Does anyone know why the message is showing? I’m a bit nervous that it could stop working while my survey is live, even though it seems to be working alright now during testing.Has anyone else used Carry forward statements for EX surveys using the “Ad Hoc Employee Research" survey type, even though that message is showing?For context, I have a Multiple choice question listing 15+ options that people can pick from. The next question is a Constant sum question asking them to enter a number for each option they selected from the previous question. This is what the Carry forward is

I’m conducting a study with decision-making questions that have correct answers available online, and I want to ensure that participants respond based on their own knowledge and reasoning, without looking up online answers during the survey.Has anyone tried any methods to discourage or prevent participants from switching to other tabs or browsers? Hello all,I have two questions: I want to be able to link text in a survey so it will go straight to a person’s app on their phone. Is this possible through custom code?  Basically I want to randomise my participants who start the survey of having an equal chance 25% (as there are 4 groups). Hi Community,I am planning to use Workflow for create custom alert for our team via email task. There’s only 1 receiver that take charge of the case and the others from different department will support it if necessary. They should be kept in a compact email loop to keep track of things.The ideal email should be sent to 1 main receiver and CC to multiple supporters. However, the email task only allows 1 CC email address. We already try to create an email group, but the protocol only let group to be internally.How can I bypass this or create a work around? Any idea would be appreciated.

Hi there, I built a new block for a very long survey for our Support. The new block is the only one required now, and we are about to stop displying the old blocks. What happens now is that the new block is at the end, so every time someone enter the survey, it record it as partial, even if the customer just saw the question and got out of the survey.   I want to either add a term saying that if a certain question was not asked don’t save it, or find another creative way. Last resort would be to create the survey again as new, but the flows and workflows are so complicated I want to avoid it…  Thanks @TomG

Option A: Use Smartphone for both tasks Is Selected") is branched to:Show Block: A: Smartphone Only (but it doesn't) once this question is answered it just continues with the questions in the Current Device block. (it doesn’t seem to like to jump out of the branch to a new block in the flow for me).Any help would be really awesome, thanks all :DNote 1: Was it something I had to sort in builder (like display logic or skip logic)? I’ve added some requirements but only forced choice.Note 2: Also, yesterday i wasn’t selecting the right questions for it to go to the right block, but the questions numbers are set up properly today I believe.  

Hello everyone,I’m building a survey for people in which I combined (coalesce) fields together, since we are asking similar questions at 2 moments on the survey. The way it’s built, respondents will answer either one or the other of the 2 questions assessing the same thing.I already coalesced questions together into new fields. However, in the dashboard, I would like to show global scores for all coalesced fields from a dimension (e.g. a score for Satisfaction with activities which would be the average of Coalesce1, Coalesce2, and Coalesce 3, which are all combinations of questions on satisfaction with activities).I thought combining the coalesced fields together with the formula function would work, but I don’t see my coalesced fields in the field selection. Have any of you ever done something similar? I would appreciate guidance on this. Thank you!

If the condition set 1, “DivisionName=Alpha” is false will it them skip over the email, T-ID3, and look to see if it meets the next condition set, 2, and continue in that fashion OR once a condition set is not met will the workflow stop at that point?
