Hello,I am creating a survey with several levels of randomness, but I want to show the participant the same question later in the survey to validate their sample.In the survey, the participant is randomly presented 10 out of 20 blocks, and in each block, 1 out of 10 possible questions is randomly presented. (they answer 10 questions in total) I want to have an 11th question, where the user must answer 1 of the previous questions again. Ideally, this 11th question would be randomly placed within the original 10 questions, but it is acceptable if it is just an extra 11th question. Is there a way to do this in Qualtrics? (Also, I am just using the free trial account, without the full feature set)

How can I bring the drop list in the same line as question text? 

I work for a credit union that has about 50 branches. We want to have a QR code survey displayed in each branch that asks about their experience. Any ideas on how to have a different QR code for each branch that will identify which branch the respondent is at, but it all filters into the same dataset?I appreciate any ideas/suggestions. We have just received Microsoft PowerBI as an enterprise visualization tool and I've been exploring the use cases. It's easy to connect flat files downloaded from Qualtrics, but I'm wondering if there are better ways of creating connections that can be automatically or manually refreshed. It looks like the only available web connector in Qualtrics is for Tableau. I've seen documentation that suggests using the API, but are there any other approaches (particularly for non-coders like me)? Thanks in advance!

Hi all, I've created many surveys before where I display images using loop and merge which work fine, but my old technique doesn't seem to be working on my latest survey and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Or, has something about the way images are displayed changed in the last couple of years and I need a new solution?Here's what I do:-I list the image URLs (I tested the URLs, they work) as a field in the L&M array (picture #1).-In the question, I insert a dummy picture, and change the URL field to the L&M field code (picture #2).However, when I preview the survey, instead of showing the image, it just shows the end of the L&M field: "5}" (picture #3).Any ideas what might be going on? I've looked back in my old surveys and as far as I can tell, they're set up exactly like this and display pictures just fine.

Hello everyone, I’m part of the Global Talent Management team within my organization and we use surveys that we distribute across our worldwide sites. We provide data to advisors on HR operations, and we want them to access specific dashboards from their Qualtrics accounts. I created new users for the advisors with permissions that should allow them to see dashboards, and I added them in specific roles within the project to allow them to see the data. We use Qualtrics EX  for this. So far, advisors are able to see the dashboard when I provide them with its URL link. However, when they log into their Qualtrics account, they cannot see neither projects nor associated dashboards. As such, they cannot navigate Qualtrics to access what they need, and they have to bypass by using the URL link. We aim to centralize information so they can access all they need from their home page. As anyone ever had a similar problem? I've created a multiple choice question, where multiple answers can be selected. The list of possible choices is quite long (~100), so I am trying to create a counter that will display the number of answers someone has selected, and I would like it to update dynamically as respondents are making their selections. Is this possible? Is it possible to add timing questions to the Maxdiff block of a maxdiff guided survey?

I am attempting to use R’s httr2 package to return a list of all mailing lists from the list mailing list endpoint. I am really struggling to leverage the httr2 iteration helpers in this context. Specifically, it seems the skipToken query parameter is encoded and I cannot simply use iterate_with_offset(“skipToken”, offset = 100)How should the skipToken value (the offset argument in the above line of code) be encoded to be recognized by the Qualtrics API?

Hello,  I wanted to add a frame to the text that is selectable to highlight in order to differentiate it from the question. I know it’s possible to underline it with java script but it would be better for us to have a frame around the entirety of the text instead of word by word.  Thank you so much! 

I’m trying to add time selection to my calendar question. I have just started my onboarding with my new position using Qualtrics. I have been using the generated test results from the tool box in the survey window and all of the Data & Analysis feedback comes back in what appears to be in the Spanish language. When I imported test results from the challenges in the XM Fundamentals Certification Course, they also import as Spanish. Hello, We inherited this account from another team and are tasked with cleaning up the folders/account. They have over 550 categorized surveys that we are looking to filter/archive into different folders. Is it possible to multiple select/multi move surveys into folders, or do we need to drag and drop each survey into a folder individually? Thank you!

Is it possible to append URL parameters to a personal survey link in an email invite? I have tried 3 different ways, but each one is not making a successful link. The link breaks or is unclickable. Example of what I tried: ${l://SurveyURL}&ExampleField=${e://Field/ExampleField}  I have an intake form survey that upon submission, a workflow sends out a survey to a contact list with a personal link to each contact in the list. I want the survey link to have an embedded data field sourced from the intake form appended to each of the links so that when each of the recipients open the survey, it can use that value that was appended to the link. I don’t want to use an anonymous link because I want a reminder to go out a few days after to those that do not complete the survey. If this is not possible, I think the only other option may be to first have a workflow task that updates the all the contacts in the list to have the field set as embedded data.

I am working on a survey and want to use the Offline App. I read under troubleshooting that "Some accounts have difficulty logging in due to the number of surveys in the account. If your account has over 100 surveys, you are at risk. You’ll typically see an error message stating, ‘API Error: We were unable to retrieve data from our servers. Please ensure that you have a good internet connection and correct account permissions.’ To mitigate this issue, many organizations create ‘Offline User’ accounts that are used strictly for offline surveys. By collaborating the surveys to these accounts, they can easily be used to collect responses that filter into the original account.”Does anyone have experience setting up one of these “Offline User” accounts? Hi communityAs you can see in the attached images, for a matrix question, in the Qualtric Results tab I create a horizontal bars widget... and as you can see it displays results correctly…This is my matrix question: In the Results tab: I wanted to set up a new dashboard with the same widget:Previously I set up in the data source configuration for this matrix question, a Desgloce…The problem is that the widget does not work in my new dashboard but it does work in the Results tab...Another problem I have is that I can't add Labels to display in the horizontal bar dashboard that I built new... Thanks for helping me

In Simple Layout, the navigation buttons are aligned to the far right of the screen, with padding added to push the “next button” far beyond the edge of questions.  This design makes centering images, e.g. a logo, impossible.  (In the attached screen shot, the html to resize the graphic is being ignored, but that’s a separate issue.) My end-goal is to remove the additional right-padding and have the navigation button align to the right, or centered. I have seen the code from user @tom_1842, but it does not seem to impact Simple Layout; various code snippets for moving the navigation buttons also seem to fail on Simple Layout..Skin .SkinInner {width: 100% !important;max-width: 100% !important;} In short, is there a way to change padding (or make the container 100% width), and a way to move the nav buttons? (I’ve looked for a Simple Layout CSS guide, but have come up empty) Screen shot example 

Hi there,I would like to know about how to set specific dates and times as options through JavaScript. While I’ve come across many articles explaining how to set up time, I haven’t found any that mentioned how to set specific dates and times “within the same question”.I’m curious if this is feasible and how it can be accomplished. Below is the code I’ve written so far, and currently, it allows setting dates, but I’m having trouble specifying the time：  I’ve reviewed some articles which indicates how to set up time picker, but it’s not in the same question with specific dates, and most important, we could not assign specific times through it. Any help or step-by step go through would be much appreciated, thanks in advance!

I have 12 product options (say F1 to F12) and want to ask 4 (common) questions (say Q1 to Q4) for each of the option. I am linking two qualtrics surveys together. In the first survey I set SurveyID as embedded data field: and then send that to the second survey as a querystring using the redirect URL at the end: utsau.au1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_1yKKFZlArqzb3ZY?PrevSurveyID =${e://Field/SurveyID?format=urlencode}. That bit seems to be working, because the URL to the second survey looks something like: www.myqualtricssurvey.com?PrevSurveyID =SV_2lSOqCNoaRioUSOIn the second survey I want to store the variable ‘PrevSurveyID’ and have set it up to record at the beginning But the PrevSurveyID column is always blank in the data file :(What am I doing wrong? It’s driving me crazy. TIA
