Is there a way for Java Script results to be shown in the results report?

In my survey I have embedded a Java Script code which produces 10 sets of data each consisting of 3 variables, which I would to display independently in my results report. I was wondering if this was possible?

How to repeatedly randomly select items from an item pool without replacement?

50 Participants in my experiment will progress through four conditions in a random order (counter balanced). In each of these four conditions, each participant will judge data from 5 subjects. These 5 subjects are randomly drawn from a pool of 250 subjects. I need to make sure that the randomly selected 5 subjects that are being drawn in conditions 2-4 are not the same 5 subjects that were drawn in the first condition. So the procedure looks like this: a participant starts the survey, will be randomly assigned one of the four conditions, then will be presented with the data from a first subject that is randomly drawn from the pool of 250 subjects. Then, the participant will answer a few questions. After this, the participant will be presented with another randomly drawn subject, answers a few questions, and so on, until the participant judged 5 subjects. Then, the participant will progress to a second (randomly assigned) condition, and the procedure repeats. The randomly drawn subjects

Integrate report into a survey

Hi, I'd be interested in having a survey and also report their answers in their survey. So for example, let us say you had different questions where you ranked different item. I would then want the participant to be able to see the total sum of their responses on the items. it could be having a sentence like this "Your scored summed up to 20 on Extraversion and 5 on Introversion". Does anyone know if this is possible? Thanks, Viktor

How do I reset the results/report to zero? We've done some trials and want to eliminate our report.

For instance, the report contains the numbers from our trials. Before final release to our approximately 200 email audience, I want to zero out the results or choices made in the trials.

Is it possible to combine two conditions in Loop & Merge?

Hi everyone, I am a newbie and this is my first post in this community. So, nice to be here. :-) There is the following szenario in your questionnaire: We use the Loop & Merge function. But the related question is a matrix question, and i would like to use the first two options for the filter and not only the first option or the second option. The question is about the usage of various websites and I would like to put all websites into the Loop & Merge function, that are used occasionally oder frequently. By now I only can use all websites used frequently as a filter criteria. Or all websites used occasionally. Does anyone have an idea? Thanks in advance! Martin

Validate numeric data field against the value entered for the previous qusetion

Can I validate that a numeric data field is less than or equal to the value entered for the previous question. For example I want to know the total time taken for travel and the longest leg of the travel. The longest leg must be less than or equal to the total time. Thanks for any advice

Change Pipe Text Formula

I want to carry over the ranked choices from a previous question. I figured it out for the first answer with ${q://QID380/ChoiceGroup/ChoiceWithLowestValue} Now, I want the second-ranked choice as choice 2, the third-ranked as choice 3, etc. I am not a coder, but want something like the first function (which is seeking the rank of "1"), to simply add a condition to look for "2".

Carryover Ranked Answers from a Drag and Drop Question

I have 22 selections to be ranked, in question 1. I want question 2 to be a constant sum, but reflect the order of previous answers a respondent. Is there a way to do this with the current logic options?

Separating dollars and cents in a form text entry

I am asking respondents to input a price in a text entry (form) type question, but I want a separate entry box for dollars and for cents, with the two boxes appearing side-by-side, with a dollar sign in front of the dollars box and a decimal point in between the two boxes, and I need to be able to do custom validation separately for the allowable values in the dollars box entry and the allowable values in the cents box. Then I need to assign the combined price to an embedded data field. Any advice on how do to this would be much appreciated.

Preventing bots from bombarding the survey?

It looks like I had a bot (or several bots) hit my publicly posted survey link. Has anyone used the Bot Detector and is it effective? Also I have a basic license, is this feature available only at higher level licenses? Thanks for any suggestions.

How to Share a Mailing List with the API?

I've created a mailing list and uploaded contacts to it using the API. However, I haven't been able to figure out how to share it with a specific Group using the API. This is possible through the UI either by using "Create Shared List" or by dragging an existing list into the Group folder. Is there also a way to do it with the API?

Hide Next button and Auto-advance on Click & Sudden error.

Hello all. I am trying to accomplish 2 fairly straightforward tasks that I can do individually, but I am having problems combining the logic. Goal: To hide the Next button on a specific page AND have the page auto-advance when an answer is clicked (radio button). Background: The page contains 3 questions. 1 question will always show (radio button question), but only 1 of the remaining 2 questions (descriptive text) will show depending on display logic. I also use display logic to hide an answer choice, but that shouldn't cause any issues. This is the code I am using on my radio button question (which is the first question on the page). Uploading a survey with display logic

Hi all, I am working on using a file to load my survey questions since there are many questions (and paths that could be followed) Is there a way to include display logic or branching logic in an uploaded file so that I do not have to build it one by one every time and can build templates?

Text Entry - Form with JS to add text: added text after box wraps around to next line on mobile

I have a text entry (form) question as I want my respondents to enter a percentage for four different things (4 form fields). I want to add a % sign after every box. I use the below code to add the % sign. Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnload(function() { var inputs = $(this.getQuestionContainer()).select('input[type="text"]'); for (var i = 0; i < inputs.length; i++) { var input = inputs[i]; $(input).insert({after: '%'}); } }); While this looks fine on desktop, on the mobile preview, the percent symbol wraps around to the next line and looks pretty inelegant, like so: ! Is there any way to make it so that the percent sign is after the text entry box and on the same line as the text entry box on mobile (or some other workaround is also ok)? Thank you.

Stripping HTML code from Response Report

Hi --- We use html to format questions including "<br />" to split information onto two or more lines so that we can make it easier for our user to read. The only issue is that all this rich text formatting and html winds up in our Response Report emails. Is there a way to do this formatting and also have the response report look clean without all the markup code.

Can I use Javascript to convert Text Entry > Form question to a drop down selection?

I have a Text Entry > Form question on a survey, with about 10 component questions in it (e.g. Name, Project Title, Phone, Email, etc.). They all require text response. I want to convert two of those component questions to drop down lists, because the responses should be limited to pre-determined values. Is it possible to use JS on the form question to target those two components and convert their response types to drop downs? Or is there a non-coding possibility that would make this possible while still maintaining the form question type? Or should I just remove the form question and make all the components their own questions (assigning MC > Drop down to the two in question)? Thank you!

How do I set up (start) a survey using a conjoint design?

"Conjoint Projects are an additional purchase. Please contact your Account Executive if you are interested in learning more about this product." My Brand Administrator did not know conjoint analyses were additional purchases and did not recommend contacting an account executive. I have seen the demo pages/steps and understand the general process.

I uploaded the list of counties with the region as a reusble choices, but can't get the resions to show. I would rather not have to create this manually without branch logic and manual selection.
