I would like to label all of the questions at once for a large survey, with around 250 questions which are shown randomly. Do I have to do this manually or is there a way to label all of them as being from the same survey?

I'm only able to define a maximum of 10 exclusions. Is there a work around where I can apply more?

I created a survey where I want users to select which time they wish to come in for an appointment. I do not want one user to select the same time as another user. Is there a way to remove a users selection from a multiple choice question so the next person taking the survey is not able to select the same answer? I want this to be automatic. Thank you.

Hi everyone and thanks for reading this, I'm using a Research Essentials version of Qualtrics. I made html changes in the Rich Content Editor, which look like I want to in the editor, but not in the Preview. It looks like some survey level setting is overriding my questions-level changes. There is no way for me to change that in the Look & Feel menu. I read somewhere that this is a feature that isn't available in the Trial account, but this is not a trial account but a paid version... Anyone knows how to solve this? thanks a lot!

Hi, I want to launch a survey which features a short video clip, the video contains some product placements which I'm researching. Anyway I can't figure out how to make the video to play only once (for example, I want the user to click the play button and be unable to rewind/replay at all), enabling the user to multiple viewing will harm the validity of my test, Are there any solutions? Hi guys, we have a filter in the dashboard from the embedded data. It is a filter like this: > 1-99; 100-299; 300-499; 500-999; 1000-2999; 3000-4999; 5000+. When adding the filed in the filter, the options come up in a wrong order: 1-99; 100-299; 1000-2999; 300-499; 500-999; 5000+. Is there a way to sort them that they come up in order from smallest to largest?

We have followed the Qualtrics document 'Avoid Being Marked as Spam' and setup 4 of the 5 options. The only option we haven't tried/done is contacting the recipients and having the address whitelisted. The senders of the survey don't feel this is appropriate and for the fact that they will be sending out to multiple businesses and domains. Any suggestions for options to try?

Is it possible to import data for one new variable with in existing data, we can do by exporting and than importing the data again and deleting. But is it possible to add with in existing data.

I keep picking the question I want and then the only choice that shows up is   After picking the greater than 0 or even not empty filled, the question does not show up in my survey at all.

Our questionnaire is primarily composed of items on a 4-point bipolar agreement scale. Additionally there is an "I don't know" response included. The key metric we want to report in our Qualtrics public web reports is percent agreement for each item which combines the "strongly agree" and "agree" choices. This percentage excludes the I don't know answers. We also want to report frequency of all responses including "I don't know" so I am not excluding it from analysis. Once data is being collected I know I can create a variable with bucketing that combines the "strongly agree" with "agree" and "strongly disagree" with "disagree". This then shows up as an embedded data in the reporting section. But there is no option to do this prior to data being collected and this created variable doesn't carry over if I create a copy of the project. Would there be a way to create a similar "bucket" variable some embedded data in the survey flow prior to data collection and so that it can copy fo

We are a B2B company. We have hundreds of clients who complete a relationship survey. We would like to calculate how many of our clients have at least one response to ensure we are getting feedback from our whole client base/market. Client name is tracked as embedded data on the survey. Example, client A might have 10 surveys go out and no responses and client B might have 12 surveys go out and 2 responded. Is there away to show a bar or pie graph that 1 out of 2 clients have at least one response.

Hello, my friends. I have a simple table where I'm pulling in a count for multiple dimensions. However, it is confusing for the end-user to find the count applicable to them. Is there a way to sort the dimensions alphabetically?

I am trying to use the randomizer on 2 groups each containing two blocks. I am using the randomizer in the survey flow in order to present these groups. I want each group to be presented 4 times within the randmizer. Is this possible and if yes then how? Secondly when I check "Evenly present items" and save the flow, it autmatically gets unchecked. I want to be able to send people to a page in the survey if they take too long on the current page. This is not the next page, so I cannot simply do a $(NextButton).run(). I also don't want to do it through Survey Flow because it will create another problem with the previous button on the following page. Any ideas?

I changed the buttons' color for both the desktop & mobile devices through Look and feel => Style, and entered the CSS code and saved it for both devices. When I look at the Look and feel, the change is visible, but for the preview and in the distributed survey, only the desktop buttons' color is changed (now in blue), not the mobile ones (still red). CSS code: Buttons NextButton, Buttons PreviousButton{ background-color: #66D2FF;} Any ideas on how to solve this?

While creating my survey, I had initially set distribution to invitation only, but changed it back to open access. When I paste the anonymous link to Word after the change to open access, the survey still shows as invitation only. How do I fix this? Thank you for your help.

I know that Qualtrics supports question randomization but is there a way to randomize the order of questions manually? I am want to randomize a specific order of questions for e.g. I want to randomize this set: [(Q1, Q2), (Q3,Q4), (Q5,Q6)]. So after randomizing the questions could appear as: [(Q3,Q4), (Q1,Q2), (Q5,Q6)] i.e. the inner order of subsets do not change.
