Hi there,I have this problem of finalizing my survey in a nice way with also a mail send with the answers towards our clients. But I using some questions that are hidden in the survey for the clients but not for us and als not for the script as the answers are needed to mask some questions nicely in the survey. Its a big project so I would like to just change the thing at the end of the survey with a javascript or whatever. For exampleQid123 - text entry choice, I already made a script that looks at the embedded data.QID456 - multiple choice, same hereThis questions answer are important for the Question masking and it is working. We need to do it like this because Qualtrics doesnt support the in page option with embedded data. At the end of our survey, our script for saving the answers also include this question answers QID123 and QID456…..  So I think the most easy solution can be that I will use a script to Erase this 2 questions around the end of the survey and then everything will b

Hello,I am collecting data using a Qualtrics survey, and the participants are from different time zones. I know Qualtrics records start/end/recorded date and time based on my local time zone. Is there a way to check the participants’ local time when they submit the survey?I know I can add a question and directly ask them to indicate their local time or calculate their local time based on the latitude and longitude info. I am just wondering if there are other more accurate and convenient ways to do it. I think I saw somewhere that Qualtrics automatically records participants’ local time, but I am not sure if it is true and if so, how to retrieve that information.Thank you very much!

Hi Experts, Where i can find the Qualtrics version we are using in our Qualtrics account? Thank you,Krishna.

I have a challenge I need help with. I have an embedded data field that can contain combinations of these values - P, P W, U R, U H.Embedded data field value examples:P, UHP WP, U RU R, U HP, P W, U R, U HMy survey has a survey question for the four unique data field values.Q1 Sat with PQ2 Sat with P WQ3 Sat with U RQ4 Sat with U HI only want to display the survey question when there is an exact match to a value in the embedded data field. When I set Q1 to only display when the embedded data field contains P, both Q1 question P and Q2 question P W display. Will someone please let me know how to input the display question logic so that Q1 question P only displays when P is in the embedded data field?I tried using quotes and that didn’t work.

I need to be able to see for every participant exactly which questions they got right and wrong in a survey. I have been able to get a total score (total number correct) but I need to have Qualtrics export a Correct / Incorrect score for every question individually in the results. (I need to have this exact metric for our analysis)EG If the correct answers to five questions are:ABABA I need to see that someone who respondsB - wrongA - wrongA - correctB - correctA - correctTotal: 3Is different from someone who respondsA - CorrectB - CorrectA - CorrectA - WrongB -  WrongTotal 3 I’m sure there must be a way to do this, but in multiple days of searching, and clicking through every option I can find, I cannot find any way to get this to show. What do I need to do?

Is there a way to transfer a Qualtrics survey to Survey Monkey without having to input the survey in Survey Monkey by hand? Thanks!

I’m unable to export data from the data analysis section, and it even didn’t give the me option to do so. It said I could both export and import data, and I’m not using a free account (not sure though), so I don’t know why I don’t have export data button here.

Hi, I am conducting a study where I would like half of the participants to answer a specific questionnaire at the beginning of the study, and the other half to answer the same questionnaire at the end. I couldn't find a way to implement this, and would greatly appreciate your assistance.

Hi All,I know each configuration is slightly different, but has anyone had an expereince where one widget is showing Response Count by Day (see below) but none of the other response widgets are working. The other widgets on this page are breaking data down by various demogrpahics, location, opertating company etc. We have used the same dashboard set up in previous surveys and they have worked, but now they have decided to stop working :-(At this point any suggestions/ideas would be welcomed.

Hi everyone!I've been going through the API documentation but haven't been able to find a way to retrieve the "preview link" for a survey through the API. While I'm able to get the published survey link via API, I was wondering if anyone knows how to access the preview link without having to manually copy it from the Qualtrics dashboard.Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!Thank you!

Hello,Is it possible to graph the topics from Text iQ with a network diagram, something like the semantic networks in Atlas.ti? Thkans

Hi Qualtrics Community,I’m currently working on a survey that includes drag-and-drop questions, and I’m having trouble optimizing them for mobile devices. Here's the situation:The Problem:I want to ensure that my drag-and-drop questions fit properly on mobile screens without requiring horizontal scrolling. Specifically, I need the following:Mobile responsiveness: The items, groups, and containers should shrink or adjust based on the screen size, ensuring that everything fits within the mobile screen and the navigation button remains visible without any scrolling. Resizing: The drag-and-drop elements (choices, boxes, etc.) should automatically resize for smaller screens, like on mobile phones and tablets. Viewport scaling: I’ve added the <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0"> tag, but the layout still doesn’t adjust properly on mobile devices. What I’ve Tried:Implemented CSS media queries for mobile devices to resize elements like the containers, lis

I am uploading around 25MB powerpoint to library and it gave me file size error. I have embedded video in ppt and I want to keep same, even after all compressions minimum file size is 25mb. Does someone have workaround for this, how i load same in library and than add as hyperlink in my dashboard.

My office is brainstorming a way to capture class attendance and have the students answer questions about class content. My supervisor shared that in past roles, they used Red Cap (?) to do something similar. We have a class (divided into four sections) that occurs every Wednesday but only one section attends the class that week; they follow a cycle throughout the academic year. At the end of class, we would like for the students to fill out a Qualtrics survey that asks them what they learned in class today and how they plan to apply it.  The next time they are in class, we want them to open the Qualtrics survey to view their answer to that previous question and tell us about their experience implementing what they learned. They should not be able to edit what they previously typed and should just view it. Then, in the same survey, they should fill out the same question of what they learned in class today and how they plan to apply it before the next class. The cycle continues from her

I've created a survey for which I've been collecting responses using a Qualtrics free account, but I'm experiencing an issue. In the Results tab, it's still showing the original 13 questions from when I first created the survey, and it hasn't updated to reflect the final version, which now has 21 questions that have been reworded. However, in the Data & Analysis tab, it's displaying the final version as I intended. Will this discrepancy affect the results of my survey?

I would like to display in an email the answers from a loop and merge block in my survey. I only want to show the loops that were gone through and there corresponding answers. I could pipe text from each loop in the email. but that would leave a bunch of blank spaces, I was wondering if there was a way to use embedded data to collect and display only the loops that were answered.

Hello community, We are trying to add display logic to questions based on embedded data coming from another system, and some questions will be displayed if a logical condition is met from the embedded data and also the condition selected in previous questions. The problem is that a lot of the display logic when we perform this combination of logic adds page breaks, even when we add everything within the same block. We want the displays to stay on the same page with the combination of both display logics: Questions + embedded data. And the option to display on the same page only enables the option to select a question, not embedded data. Many of the questions should be displayed on the same page and only jump when we indicate a page break or add a block, not when the display logic decides to jump.Does anyone know how I can do this? Regards!

Hello, I am trying to create a question to calculate a “Risk Score” based on answers to previous questions. The previous questions contain recode values that are already in Qualtrics. Here is the intended calculation for Risk Score: If the count of the recode values is >= 17, then take the sum of the recode values. Otherwise, return “N/A” to the user. If anyone could provide any guidance as I am not proficient in Java Script, that would be greatly appreciated!

Hello,  I am running a norming study where individuals will be rating words and pictures based on three questions that are the same across each word or picture they view. To my limited knowledge, it seems like the ‘Loop & Merge’ feature will help me with not having to rewrite those same three questions over and over. However, now I have a question on the stimuli set. I do not want to embed 400 unique pictures and words into the survey and instead am hoping I can create a stimuli library where the survey can pull the stimuli that are presented from a library that I create. Can this be done with the Embedded Data function? The study shows stimuli based on two different variables with two levels: Stimuli Type (which is either Picture or Word) and Stimuli Content (General or Specific). This makes up four conditions, with each condition having 100 stimuli, for a total of 400 stimuli. There is no way for each participant to view and judge all 400 stimuli. Is there a way to present an equall

I have set up pre-study and post-study surveys that have been de-identified. The participants are paid after they complete the surveys. To maintain the de-identification of the surveys, I have created a separate survey for their name/address in order to know who is done and send them their payment. I want to create a link from the end of each survey to the follow-up survey. I know I need the URL for each study, but I am not sure how to achieve this.

Hi there, I would like to randomize 10 blocks and display a few only when the selected question from the previous block is answered. For example, randomly show Block A, if “Yes” is selected from Block A question 1.1, then randomly display one of the rest 9 blocks. Then, suppose Block C is shown, if “Yes” is selected from Block C question 1.1, then randomly display one of the rest 8 blocks.

Hi all, I need to set up my survey in a way that I have a set number of responses on the questions. I have 2 conditions in my survey overall, each of which has 6 elements. I want to set it such that I have 300 responses/participants on each of the condition and 50 on each of the element. I've tried setting it up in the survey flow but wasn't very successful. Any tips/pointers on how I can set it up would be much appreciated. I attach a screenshot of my survey below: To reiterate, I’m aiming for 300 responses each on noun/verb ratings .. and 50 each on the indiidual elements/block group.  What I’ve tried so far:  - ‘edit count’ function to include the above number - tried using ‘quotas’ but it didn’t work successfully. Thanks,

I am working on this Javascript code but the output in the email does not return the percentile for each item. How could I adjust the code to address this issue? Here is the code:Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnload(function(){    /*Place your JavaScript here to run when the page loads*/});Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnReady(function(){    /*Place your JavaScript here to run when the page is fully displayed*/// Question Scores    var q1 = parseFloat("${q://QID1/SelectedAnswerRecode/1}");    var q2 = parseFloat("${q://QID2/SelectedAnswerRecode/1}");    var q3 = parseFloat("${q://QID4/SelectedAnswerRecode/1}");    var q4 = parseFloat("${q://QID3/SelectedAnswerRecode/1}");    var q5 = parseFloat("${q://QID5/SelectedAnswerRecode/1}");    var q6 = parseFloat("${q://QID6/SelectedAnswerRecode/1}");    var q7 = parseFloat("${q://QID7/SelectedAnswerRecode/1}");    var q8 = parseFloat("${q://QID8/SelectedAnswerRecode/1}");    var q9 = parseFloat("${q://QID9/SelectedAnswerRecode/1}");    var q10 = pars
