Display logic text entry box within loop and merge

The question has the answer of “Others” with a text entry to specify. If they choose Others and write in the text box, their answers will appear in the Loop&Merge question. But if they choose Others without filling in the text box, the Loop&Merge question will not display.I’ve tried many times but it all displays the L&M with the phrase “Others” which makes me very struggle rn :(( Can someone help me in using Display Logic for this situation pls =(((Thank you guys very much.

Year over year data filtering, CX dashboard

We have an annual survey that we send out every year, the survey changes slightly year to year and what has historically been send is a new survey every year rather rather than using the same survey with the minor edits. In 2023 there was as admin error where contacts were sent incorrect personal links… The issue was identified and remedied. This issue was narrowed down to a specific subset of respondents that we were able to identify based off embedded data, it did not affect all participants, is there’s a way other than deleting the “admin error respondents” to exclude those responses from analysis/dashboard? My initial thought was to export, remove the known error respondents, delete those responses, then import only those correct ones back into the survey. My concern is this would, at least I would image as I’ve never done it before, update the recoded date to the date I did the import. *The data I would be adjusting was from 2023, and I would like to keep the record date as 2023 a

Return to survey and automatically send to a link

Hi all!I want to make a survey where people interact with a chatbot on a different website. After that chat I want them to go back to the same survey and answer some questions about the chatbot.  I want to make sure users are automatically directed to the chatbot, so that they do not have to click on some separate link. How do I do that? And how can I make sure they go back to the survey and answer the follow up questions?

Automating A Survey Distribution - 60 to 90 days from initial response.

I have a bit of an unusual use case and I am looking for ideas to help either automating a survey distribution or making it more manageable if there is no automated option.  The folks I am working with have some instructional materials posted on a website that they would like feedback on immediately after folks have viewed them, one month after they have viewed them, and 3 months after they have viewed them.   We are collecting immediate-post feedback via an anonymous link posted at the end of the materials.  We are collecting one-month post feedback by using a workflow triggered by completing the immediate-post survey that distributes the one-month post survey to an email address provided in the immediate-post survey. Those emails are also added to a contact list.  For the three-month post survey, I’d like to be able to use the distribution via a workflow method used for the one-month survey, but the timing on that is limited to 30 days from completion of the survey that triggers the

Adding a 'DK/DA' option into a 0-10 scaled question

Hi Qualtrics team.I want to make a nice looking question on a horizontal 0-10-scale + a ‘I don't use it’ category.If I include this ‘I don’t use it’ option at the end it does not look very well as the text is long. Would it be possible to include these ‘I dont’ use it option’ at the bottom of the question? Thanks for your help!

Sample Questionnaire / average count and recommendations

Hey everyone! I created a sample questionnaire with 7 questions with each 4 answer options scored from -2, -1 to +1, +2. Those questions are also categorized into PROSCIs ADKAR model (Awareness, Desire, Knowledge, Ability, Reinforcement). So for example “Desire” is touched by Questions 4 and 7, whereas Questions 2, 5, 6 and 7 touches for example “Knowledge”. First question: where and how do I capture the average score of those categories of ADKAR?Second: from the average score of the ADKAR categories I want to display recommendations to the survey owner (Change Manager) for example in the report section. In Excel language that would be a formula for “Desire” like: IF score is between  -4 to -2, THEN display “TEXT”, IF score ist between -2 to -0,99, THEN display “TEXT”… and so on and so forth. Where and how can I do that since I do not want to export the file. Thanks upfront everyone!Andreas

N/a appearing in parts that need to be empty

The Questionnaire that I have designed has a part at the bottom that needs to be sent to an outside organisation to be authorised, they will have to download the applicants submission and complete manually, but the questions we wish them to answer have n/a automatically filled when the form is printed. How do I get rid of this as it does not leave the authoriser much room to complete their details.

Inquiry about Collaborative Editing and Sharing in Qualtrics Surveys

Morning!I was wondering if there is a method to share the Qualtrics survey for editing without relying on the preview feature. Specifically, I am looking for a solution that would allow collaborators to make comments, suggest changes, and edit the survey directly. If there isn't a direct editing feature, is there a way to download the survey for offline editing and subsequently re-upload the modified version?

Pre-test and Post-test analysis HELP!

Hello everyone! I am making a pre- and post-survey questionnaires and will be comparing the results. I am hoping to get some help on what is the best way make the surveys for analysis. I read/watched videos to make one survey with pre-test, educational material, and post-test. I also was told to make 2 separate links for pre-test and post-test. What would be the best way to go about this? If 2 links are the best way for analysis, how do I link the two separate surveys for analysis (eg. paired t-test)? If the answers are as detailed as possible as I am new to this platform, I would appreciate it greatly. Thank you!!

Display a question to respondents who haven't answered another survey

Hello, I’ve been trying to solve the following problem with little success:I have 2 separate surveys for an event; one that people can complete before the event (about what they expect and their demographics) and one they can complete after (about their experience and their demographics). They don’t HAVE to complete both surveys, but may choose to do so.Both use anonymous links, with a query string that attaches users’ unique IDs to their responses (they both have an embedded data called unique_id which is set from the URL). I want to make the second survey shorter for respondents who already completed the first one, so they don’t have to answer the same questions (e.g. demographics) twice.Is there a way to only display a question to a respondent who did NOT answer my first survey?I have tried setting up a trigger to add respondents of the first survey to a contact list (with their unique ID as the external reference), but there is no “display to respondents NOT in list XYZ” / “hide if

Syncing an unsubscribe back to Salesforce?

Hello and good afternoon from a snowy Sweden!Does anybody know how I can set up an automatic feature where a user who clicks unsubscribe in a Qualtrics email, is not only added to the Unsubscribe list in Qualtrics, but that event is also synced back to the contact in Salesforce? I have found this thread, but I honestly don’t understand the intended setup set as “Best answer”. It’s 6 years old so perhaps there is a new and better way of accomplishing this?  Thanks in advance and have a great rest of 2023!-Mattias

Matrix Table Not Recording All Responses

I have a survey that was working fine in an earlier version, but now the matrix table is only recording the last few responses.  I’ve tested myself and I can see that it is only recording the last response given.Respondents are supposed to list the graduate schools (university and program) in a text entry and then I use piped text to enter those programs in first column of a likert on the next block where they enter in status (“accepted to this program”, etc).  When I test, all entries above the last entry are blank in the data and analysis section, when I “view response”, and even if I select retake response.  They just aren’t recorded.I used to have java script for this first matrix question to allow respondents to “add a line” (basically it hid extra lines under the “add line” button was pushed).  Removing the java script didn’t help.Any fixes would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

Date AND Time Validation

Hello, I need to add a validation to my survey and saw there are ‘Date format’ options under ‘Content type’; however, I’m looking to add date AND time validations to my question.  I’m assuming this is possible by creating a Custom Validation. If so, does anyone have any insight on how I may accomplish this?Thank you!

Survey Halted error message

We are using Qualtrics for collecting literacy data in elementary schools. Collectors are using iPads. It is sometimes necessary to switch from the XM app to other apps. Notes is used for scanning materials as PDFs. Upon returning to the XM app, collectors sometimes get the following pop up error:Survey HaltedThe survey session has halted.Sometimes tapping on the ‘Cancel’ button allows the app to continue. sometimes the survey closes.What causes this? Is there a way to fix this?

Optimizing Workflow Tasks Conditions in Multilingual Surveys: Seeking Efficient Solutions

Hi all, I'm launching a pop-up survey in numerous languages and developing a workflow to forward select customer text responses to a Slack Channel.While I understand translations can't precede sending feedback to the channel, I'm facing challenges in filtering out "trash" feedback containing words like 1. "nothing," 2. "none," or 3. "no"; plus the classic 4. “--”, 5. “.” and 6. empty responses. With the surveys live in 6+ countries and expanding, is there a more efficient method than setting 6+ conditions x 25+ languages x n questions each time I want to send new survey text feedback to Slack? Perhaps a more sophisticated approach like using boolean queries?Any feedback/recommendation/insight will be really appreciated.Thank you!

Unable to get ResponseID post survey submission in browser

The below is my problem description . Please share insights for solving this painpoint.I am not sure if there is a way already existing to solve the below problem as described in steps below: 1.)I created a simple survey which can be accessed in browser easily2.)I can access this survey from a browser easily ,fill the survey and I can submit it easily3.)After submitting the survey, I would like to see HTTPS response payload (if we inspect the element in the browser while submitting the survey URL mentioned in step 1) with Q_R(ResponseID) always . Currently am not seeing that and I can see only form session ID which I don’t need . 4.)I am not seeing the ResponseID value in the HTTPS response. My goal is to see the ResponseID(Q_R) in the HTTPS response payload once I submit the survey (upon completion of step 2) .  With this survey, am not getting ResponseID in the HTTPS response. How to ensure that I can get ResponseID always post survey submission in the browser? Is there any setting/r

How to add a point if an answer is NOT selected in a survey?

I’m currently building a survey that allows respondents to check all answers that apply to the questions. I’m trying to find a way to add a point to the total score if certain answers are left unchecked, but I’m not sure how to do that with Qualtrics scoring. Has anyone tried this before? Thanks.

Back Button Hidden in between

i have enabled back button but back button is still missing at few screens due to below warning given on support page. Is there any way i can still see the back button on those screens where it is missing due to below reason. Warning: In some cases, a back button will not show on a page of the survey even if you have the setting enabled in your survey options. This is caused by having elements between blocks in your survey flow. Any element (branch logic, embedded data, randomizer, web service, etc.) will disable the back button on the first page of the block that follows it.

Summing Matrix Table text entry of numbers to place in reporting

Hello - I have a Matrix table of text entries where the end user will enter numbers into each box.  I would like to sum each ROW of the table and embed that into a report.  I am new to much of this feature and not sure of the best way to approach. It looks like using Constant Sum does not report out anywhere other than on screen.  Many thanks!
