Is there a way to create shortened personalized survey links?

We have created shortened anonymous survey links using sites like Bit.ly, but is there an easy way to create shortened personalized links within Qualtrics, rather than a 3rd party site? We’re hoping to place shortened personalized links in text messages, rather than a very long survey link due to character limitations with SMS.

Survey Responses

This is not related to the Qualtrics Platform, this is related to survey responses.  When a customer responds to a question about how about satisfied they are with the interaction of their customer care agent ranking from extremely unhappy to extremely happy and they select extremely unhappy but their comments are all positive of the agent.  My question is:  Do you change the customer’s response to reflect the customer’s comments? This is a debate in our organization right now.  Thanks!

Text box with currency fixed next to it

Hello I am creating a question on how much people spend on a product. This is how I’d like the question to behave: The “£” sign and “per year” should be fixed either side of the text box, but a standard text box question type doesn’t seem to allow that. Batch Uploading Embedded Content into Qualtrics' Rich Content Editor

Hello all,I've been working on a project in Qualtrics where I have multiple pieces of content (e.g., videos, images) that I'd like to embed into the Rich Content editor. I was hoping there might be a way to do a batch upload, rather than embedding each piece of content manually one-by-one. A few things I'm considering:Is there a direct feature or method in Qualtrics I might have missed that facilitates this? Are there any third-party tools or plugins known to the community that can help with this process? For those who have encountered a similar issue, how did you approach it? How to add Hover Text/Tooltip to multiple choice drop down choices

I am looking for a way to add Hover Text/Tooltip to multiple choice drop down choices.. I was able to use this resource to add it to a list format multiple choice question, which worked perfect, but when I do a drop down format, I do not get the option for the “Rich Content Editor” for the choices like I do with the list format. The “Rich Content Editor” is where I put in some coding to create the hover text. I even tried just changing the format on the question after adding the hover text to drop down, but the hover text then doesn’t work. Any guidance is much appreciated!

Survey templates in library - am I missing something?

After discussing my issue with a Qualtrics support rep, I’m having a hard time accepting what I learned about surveys saved to the library. Below is what I heard, please let me know if this aligns with your understanding or if anything is incorrect. If these points are true, then what is the advantage of even saving surveys to the library as templates?  Wouldn’t we have more flexibility and less frustration if users were just instructed to copy existing survey projects as templates for their surveys?   Would love to hear other peoples’ thoughts on this. Thanks! The is an “Edit” option available When the Edit option is selected, one can make updates to the template (either intentionally or accidentally, but cannot publish the changes. This is by design I was told...no publish button is displayed, because it could mess up other users if you change a template. Can the font size for matrix-style questions be adjusted in Flat Layout mode?

While using the Flat layout on a desktop, I've observed that the font size for options in matrix-style questions is slightly smaller than the default size set for all questions. Is there a solution to adjust this font size?Thanks in advance for your help.

Does the preview survey do not display results?

I shared my survey with multiple team members in the preview mode . It says 25 responses have been received. However, when I try to download the results, it gives me the following error. Is this how previews reports look? I am concerned I may get same issue when my survey goes live. Please help

Percentage of correct answers in a multi select type question

I have a multiple answer type question used and have 10 options out of which 5 options are correct. There is a validation that 5 options needs to be selected and it is setup. Now, I want to show the percentage of correct options selected when a respondant selects the choices. How is this feasible?

How to pick up max 2 out of selected answers and loop question

 I need help setting up a survey where people can choose multiple options in Q1. After they choose, I want to ask them questions in two blocks based on their choices. ・I want to allow respondents to answer questions about a maximum of two selections from Q1 no matter how many they choose.・Here's the twist: If they pick option A in Q1, I want to make sure A is always included.  Respondents can answer questions about up to two options from Q1, but if A is selected in Q1, A is always included.

Sending an Email after updating survey in the data and analysis section

Hi,I am trying to use Qualtrics so that the participant completes a survey and then a reviewer goes into the Data and Analysis section and approves their response.  What I would like to do is trigger an email to the participant with the reviewer’s response.  I attached a screenshot of what I would like to do.  Basically when the reviewer update Q3 and then clicks Review and Publish, the participant would get an email.  Does anyone know how I might go about doing this?  I am completely stymied.

How to send preview email

Hi, I would like to send preview email to pretest my questionnaire (Pilot study). The Qualtrics support website said that I can send a preview email link via the "send preview email" function. I have gone the function in distribution tab but could not find it. Can anyone here tell me where can I locate this function? Thanks.

"Select another" in Loop and Merge

I’ve been looking at other forum questions and the options in Qualtrics so I think the answer is no, but I wanted to look for a second opinion! I’m building a survey that asks users to comment on any number of metrics from a drill down list. Currently I have a loop and merge setup that asks “How many metrics do you want to comment on?” and loops through the metric selection and feedback block based on that question. Rather than pre-selecting the number of loops, is there a way to have the survey go through the Loop and Merge block first then have a “Submit another” option? Thanks in advance!

How to auto select from matrix table to multiple question

 In the first question, you have a matrix table with brand options "A" through "E." Your task is to indicate whether you'd consider buying these brands next time. If you choose either "4. Likely to consider" or "5. Very likely to consider," the next set of questions will be automatically pre-selected for you.  How can I make this logic work?

How can I make this logic work? In multiple choice question, if you select "Other" as the sole choice, the survey will be terminated.But, if you choose "Other" in combination with any other option, you can proceed with the survey.

Do you delete survey responses if cases have been flagged as duplicates by the system?

Hi there!I have a set of survey results, and am looking at the raw data. I see that in the my raw data some cases have true value for the columns ‘Q_RelevantIDDuplicate” and high values for Q_RelevantIDDuplicateScore - flagging that those cases are duplicates. Wondering what people do out there in the real world with this information. Do you automatically delete responses that have been flagged as duplicates? I’ve reviewed the specific responses and in some instances they appear to be similar to other cases in terms of the answers, but it’s not identical.  I guess my question is also partly, how much do you rely on and trust the Duplicate and Fraudulent response indicators in Qualtrics. Thanks!

Loop & Merge

Hello -I'm attempting to use the Loop & Merge feature in my survey. The use case is the user needing to enter (potentially) several iterations of the same form. The last question in my survey is "Do you have another item to submit?" which should trigger the survey to loop through the questions again. I don't understand how to set this up in this way using Loop & Merge. Has anyone else run into this scenario and have advice?Thanks!

workflow logs

Hi all, wanted to know if there’s any way to check for the workflow logs in run history or revision history if created anywhere in qualtrics.Our work system consists of ticketing process and workflow is created which calls for the API as per the scheduling set in qualtrics. Now since qualtrics have created a workaround around for the tickets creation failure and now the tickets are on auto retry for upto 24 hours.i wanted to check if any logs are maintained and if we can see on what basis the auto runs for retries are scheduled automatically in the backend for the tickets not created and are in auto retrying state for upto 24 hours.  Please feel free to share if anyone got some insights on it.

Email Notification of Quota met

Hello All!For Conference/event registration surveys I have multiple choice questions with time slots/topics as response options. Each option has display logic tied to a quota. I have figured out how to set up a workflow that will send me a notification email once any of the quotas are met, however with this solution I will receive an email for every response submitted until all quotas are met and survey closes. Is there a way to only send the notification once as each quota is met (e.g., 4 response options would be 5 emails: 1 for each quota and another for survey close)?TIA for any assistance or workarounds provided!
