Hello Qualtrics team.Despite of including a 'end-of-survey' message in the survey flow, there's a previous message that seems a end-of-message. How can it be deleted this 'pre' end of survey message?Pre (automated) end-of-survey ‘End-of.survey’ included in the survey flow: Survey flow: How can I delete the automated end-of-survey included by the survey flow? Thanks!

For anyone looking to automate reward/incentive delivery after a Qualtrics survey — the End of Survey → "Redirect to a URL" option already carries what you need: ?email=${e://Field/email} (embedded data) or ?email=${q://QID#/ChoiceTextEntryValue} (a question response) gets the participant's email to whatever page you redirect to. The part I couldn't find off the shelf was the receiving side — checking the request is genuine, picking the next reward code, emailing it, and never double-issuing on a reload. I ended up building that as a small standalone tool (REWARDR) for my own study: https://ersan.eu/qr-sistem/qualtrics.html — sharing in case it's useful to someone else here too.

Hi everyone,I’ve been working on an idea around Qualtrics dashboards and wanted to get some feedback from the community. What if you could build and refine a Qualtrics dashboard simply by describing what you want? For example:“Create a donut chart showing average satisfaction by state.”“Create a bar chart showing average satisfaction by location.”“Add filters for @startDate and @status.”The idea is that the system understands your dashboard structure and available fields, then configures the widgets and filters for you directly inside Qualtrics. You can also continue the conversation to make changes and refine the dashboard. We’re currently testing this with a small group of early access users before Beta.I’m interested in hearing from people who regularly build or manage Qualtrics dashboards.Would something like this be useful to you?If you’re interested in trying it and providing feedback, feel free to comment here or send me a message. Demo:Thanks,Arun

Hi,I have a technical question regarding custom JavaScript and Web Services in Qualtrics. We know that a Web Service element in Survey Flow can make authenticated API calls using credentials stored securely in Qualtrics. However, as far as I understand, those Web Service calls are tied to Survey Flow execution and therefore normally require the respondent to leave/submit the current page.Is there or will be any supported mechanism that allows custom JavaScript running inside an active survey question to trigger a server-side HTTP request through Qualtrics, using a credential stored in Qualtrics, and receive the response asynchronously without navigating away from the current page? Our use case would be a real-time LLM chat:survey JavaScript → Qualtrics server-side request → LLM API → response back to the same survey page.Importantly, we do not want the API credential to be exposed to the respondent's browser. If such a mechanism exists, I would also be interested to know what authenticati

Hi,I would like to use conditional pricing with the "vary prices" (multiplier) option. However, the "Willingness to Pay" calculation type is then not available in the standard reports for this setup. Is there a way to analyze willingness to pay per feature and level in this configuration, so with conditional pricing? If there is no standard report for this, are there alternative approaches we can use to examine the willingness to pay for individual feature levels? Thanks & Regards

Anyone knows a possibility to deactivate or skip the End of Survey element/message for SMS distribution? It's an extra expense in credits that we'd rather avoid...

I am testing out survey expirations to make sure things are working as expected. I generated a link for myself yesterday and had it set to expire after 1 day. It was supposed to expire today at 2:05pm PST but it is still active, currently it is 4:14pm PST. Why is this happening? We don’t want links opened forever. On the Qualtrics dashboard, it does say 2:05pm. I’m not sure what is going on. For the record, I generated a personal link for myself, not an email link.

Hello, I am doing a survey on vendor experience. I have 20 vendors managed by 5 Relationship Managers. Some respondents partner with multiple vendors, so to start, I ask them to select which vendor(s) they are providing feedback on. I’d like to be able to have a field that captures the name or names of the Relationship Manager based on the vendor(s) selected, however doing it via embedded data in the survey flow doesn't work and only one name is captured if there are several vendors selected. I’ve also tried bucketing, but again that only captures one of the relationship managers names. Are there any other options I can use?

Recently, my Qualtrics auto-updated to a new version where distribute “personal links” process/UI is much slower. Before, I could click generate links, easily navigate to the directory I wanted, then select the entire list or individual participants. Now, it opens a separate tab, makes me slowly select my directory with multiple clicks (including loading time), click “next” twice, and finally, click “generate .csv”. I generate personal links for multiple surveys per participant and multiple participants each week. This UI change is about to tack on a lot of extra time to my workflow. Please revert to a faster and more intuitive UI for distributing personal links. The previous version was great, I’m not sure why extra steps have been added in a new and ostensibly “improved” version of Qualtrics.

Hi Qualtrics Community! My team and I are looking to start a follow-up online survey using Qualtrics and would like to provide respondents with compensation (in the form of e-gift cards) for completion of the survey. We are looking to provide each participant (n=700+) with one gift card each at the end of the survey, to ensure participants' information/responses are anonymized, and to minimize the possibility for respondents to complete the survey multiple times to collect additional gift cards. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with adding gift card compensation to their survey without the use of Tango Card Incentive integration? If anyone has done this before and can provide a detailed process of how to complete this or is able to provide any helpful tips, it would be greatly appreciated!Thank you for all the help in advance!

Hello - we are distributing a community survey via an anonymous link (QR code and shortlink posted on a flyer). We are incentivizing the survey with a digital incentive via Tango Card. I understand that incentives can be challenging when you don’t control a distribution list of pre-determined possible respondents. We will be sending the gift cards to an email that respondents enter at the end of the survey, but we don’t know what those emails are going to be ahead of time. I’m wondering what the best practice is for designing the survey flow and settings to prevent people from being able to complete the survey more than once. Some of the security settings work as an initial barrier, but people can get around those by using different browsers and different devices. We’ll of course make sure that we only pay a given email one time.

Does anyone know how to auto-close matrix, accordian-style questions in the new layout view? (There doesn’t seem to be a th[id] element.)Thanks for any ideas!

I am trying to have a loop and merge run based on selections in a matrix table. I want to loop for each of the statements from the matrix table where the answer selected was either “Very familiar” or “Extremely familiar”. The looping and merge configuration only allows for selecting a single answer choice (ie it can only loop through “Extremely familiar” selections, not a combination of all selections that were “Extremely familiar” or “Very familiar”. See the example setup below. Does anyone have a workaround for this problem? Thanks!

Is there a way to display in the new email experience (distributions) to pair/show together the emails that go out to the same list? We send distributions to several lists each week and set up reminders differently based off each list. In the “new experience” it’s a lot of jumping back and both on the screen to see that a list has a reminder set up, where in the old/current version it’s super simple to tell if it’s set up.

Hi, Is there any support page / link where I can see what the meaning of each error that occurs in Bounced emails ? I checked in below link but my error messages in distribution should very different errors than the ones in link below:https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/distributions-module/email-distribution/email-distribution-error-messages/#BounceRates

Hi everyone,We are currently tackling an architecture challenge with Qualtrics and would love to know if anyone has faced a similar use case or could share recommendations.Context & Requirements: We need to provide external partner offices with API access to experience/performance data that is currently visualized in CX Dashboards.Current Blockers: Dashboard API: As far as we have investigated, Qualtrics does not offer a public API endpoint to pull aggregated/calculated metrics directly from Dashboard widgets (only raw survey response export endpoints). Data Segregation & Security: We must ensure strict data isolation so that each partner can only query and retrieve their own data via API. Standard API tokens operate at the user/survey level and do not inherently enforce row-level access control on raw data extracts. Divisions: We considered setting up separate Divisions per partner office, but this introduces massive management overhead and does not natively solve API data

Hi all, I am trying to use JavaScript to read the selected values from a manually built Side by Side question with three dropdown columns (Month, Day, Year) in order to calculate a decimal-year age and write it to embedded data fields using setJSEmbeddedData. I have confirmed the following are all working correctly: • JavaScript is executing• addOnload and addOnReady are both firing• Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.setJSEmbeddedData is writing to embedded data correctly• The Survey Flow has the three fields declared with the _js prefix• The Gratitude block is in place so the DOB question is not on the final page The problem is that I cannot read the dropdown values from the Side by Side question. I have tried:• document.getElementsByName(‘QR~’+qid+’#1~1’)[0] — returns undefined• document.querySelectorAll(‘select’) — returns zero elements• document.querySelectorAll(’#’+qid+’ select’) — returns zero elements• document.getElementById(qid) — returns null• document.body.innerHTML — shows question te

Hi! I’m trying to redirect to an anonymous survey where I keep three embedded variables the same across three surveys: Day, Counterbalance group, and participant ID. In my survey, people insert ID as the first question. So my redirect link will look something likequaltrics.com/form/SURVEYCODE?ID=[PARTICIPANTID]&DAY=[DAY]&CBGROUP=[COUNTERBALANCINGGROUP]. I’m able to get day and counterbalancing group to embed in the link properly, but I can’t for participant ID. It just enters nothing in the URLThings I have tried:qualtrics.com/form/SURVEYCODE?ID=${q://ID/ChoiceGroup/SelectedChoices} qualtrics.com/form/SURVEYCODE?ID=${q://ID} Embedding ID as value set by panel and making redirect qualtrics.com/form/SURVEYCODE?ID=${e://Field/ID?format=urlencode} Embedding ID as ${q://ID/ChoiceGroup/SelectedChoices} making redirect qualtrics.com/form/SURVEYCODE?ID=${e://Field/ID?format=urlencode} Embedding ID as ${q://ID} making redirect qualtrics.com/form/SURVEYCODE?ID=${e://Field/ID?format=urlen

We have a survey that asks users to upload an image through a file upload question. We want the uploaded image to be passed to the GPT task, as it is currently not being passed through. What could be the solution?

Hi, wasn’t there a product release note lately, that the Comment Summary Widget in EX can now be used without setting up TextIQ in advance? If not yet released, is this planned in the near future?thank you for the information

Hi Qualtrics Team,We are encountering a build failure in our CI environment (GitHub Actions) when resolving dependencies for the Qualtrics Android SDK from your hosted Maven S3 repository (https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/si-mobile-sdks/android/).During the build, Gradle attempts to download aapt2:9.4.1-15703166 from your S3 repository and fails with a 403 Forbidden response. Hi everyone,I have a B2B survey where multiple respondents can belong to the same property. Each property has a unique Property code. For example:Respondent Property Code Status Owner 1 M001 Complete Owner 2 M001 Complete Owner 3 M002 Complete Owner 4 M003 Incomplete I need the response rate to be based on unique properties, so the numerator should be 2, not 3.Property Response Rate = Unique Property code with ≥1 completed response / Total eligible propertiesWe are using Legacy Dashboard Data Mapper, not Data Modeler. Is there a native way or workaround to calculate a distinct Property Code count based on completed responses in the dashboard?
