I have the following text in a test email distributionTest web service -- ${ws://WebService?u=http%3A%2F%2Fecho.jsontest.com%2Fkey%2Fvalue%2Fone%2Ftwo&f=one}The URL http://echo.jsontest.com/key/value/one/two returns JSON that Qualtrics recognizes when I use the 'Piped Text from a Web Service' option within the email distribution editor, however the email that is sent only containsTest web service --Has anyone else had any luck getting the web service output in an email distribution?

I have 3 text entry questions and want to change default font type as Calibri. I can change the font type for one question with code below and it is not changing for other 2 questions. I have a survey in which I show multiple sliders on a page, and the concrete value of each slider is randomly selected from the range of 10-200 (as in the screenshot below). Is there a way to record which random number is generated for each slider? This task is asking people to move the sliders to the position indicated by this randomly generated number. So eventually, I want to be able to tell whether participants' slider response matches the number shown on the left. Thank you in advance for any insights!

Hey all,Have a question regarding datatypes in qualtrics. I have a field in qualtrics that has validation set to content type and number with a minimum value above zero and a maximum value below 10000000. This data field eventually has a workflow that sends it to salesforce, but salesforce rejects any value that has a comma in it (e.g., 100,000). Is there a way to maintain the data validation in qualtrics, drop the comma, and just send the numeric value in the JSON?

I would like to display 1 out of 3 slider bars depending on the choices of a previous question on the same page - thus without a page break. Unfortunately the "in page display logic" is not available for sliders. If the slider bar is a forced response I also get the message that you can see in the second image. Is there a way to display the slider bar depending on the choices from the previous question with JS? Does anyone could provide JS code for this?Thank you very much!

Hi! I have audio files embedded in my Qualtrics survey so that participants see the audio file and can click play but then can not interact with the audio player. This is working in Google Chrome but it's not working in Safari which is an issue for me because some participants will be using Safari on their laptops or iphones when completing the survey. We have a lot of surveys for event registration. I was wanting to know if there was a way to schedule the Qualtrics survey at a specific date and time. Or is the only way to close a survey to go into the projects and close it that way.

Hello everyone,I am setting up a conjoint experiment, and I am using JavaScript to randomly populate fields within a question (I apologize if the terminology I use is incorrect, I am very new to this). Everything was working fine until yesterday, when the JS stop working. Every time I preview the question on which the JS is supposed to work, not only the fields are not populated with the JS information, but Qualtrics crash too. I have not done any modification to the script, which makes me think there simply is a bug. Has anybody encountered a similar problem?Below the script and thanks in advance. Hello, I am using this API exactly as written but when I use it the resulting distribution comes out like this:There was 1 contact with a phone number in the mailing list which mailingID I listed in the API, yet it didn't seem to be recognized.Right now we have phone numbers listed in "Embedded Column A" which is easy enough to pick and choose using a distribution created through the UI, but because we want to schedule many distributions we wish to use API. Has anyone else experienced this issue with getting the API to recognize where the phone numbers (with extension number) are listed within the mailing list? Thanks!

However, the survey respondent has the option of clicking on the "Next" button or clicking typing "k." I want to be able to see that the respondent typed "k" (or just clicked "Next") when I export the survey as a CSV file, preferably in a variable.

Hi everyone,I have a Heat Map question that I would like to make a forced response question. I've currently set the question to 10 clicks, as I would like to give them the ability to click at most 10 things on the image. However, as a forced response question, I don't want to require them to click 10 things. I just want to have them click at minimum 1 thing before they can advance. Any thoughts on how to accomplish that?Thanks!Angela

How do you make a field required through JS? I have multi-select question where the option "Other" presents a text field (of the same question). I'd like to make that field required and use a custom message. Qualtrics has the "Custom Validation" field, which I can use to target that specifically, however, it's a lot more work if I have to conditionally choose every possible selection to validate vs. target directly through JS.

I have an embedded data field in my question as shown below.This was the value from using the Insert Embedded Data option and writing caption1, I also tried ${e://Field/caption1} but got the same empty result.Within the JavaScript for my question, I have the following codeQualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnload(function(){ Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.setEmbeddedData( 'caption1', "a" );});However, when I preview the page the embedded field is not shown. I am a new in Qualtrics and certainly appreciate your help here. I am building a survey with multiple choice question:Please select equipment:1) Freezer2) File CabinetI was able to store the response(s) in Contact List in the field called "Equipment". I can see that values are being stored in the List as comma separated values. But when I am trying to retrieve the value using a Java script: var answer = "${e://Field/Equipment}"; this.setChoiceValueByRecodeValue(answer, true);but this does not work and value comes as empty. Can anyone help?

Hi all, I am trying to embed a video into my survey. While it successfully appears in my survey builder, it does not show up in the preview nor in the survey sent out to pilot participants. What could be the reason for this? I have played around with the code, adding different versions of the HTML embed code that Vimeo provides into the survey. The code is below -- I would appreciate any insights! Press the play button to view the video. 

I have 2 questions in a survey with dropdown options and rest are text entry. I would like to have standard font type for all text entry (which the respondent fills in). Also, want to show my drop down as Calibri font type. Is there anyway we can do this using custom code? Kindly let me know if you may have any question for me. Thank you.

Hello community,i have 100 statements in 4 different versions: english-true, english-false, german-true and german-false.The aim is for each person to get all 100 questions, but randomized across the 4 versions. Additionaly from each version 25 statements should be presented.The statements are conditional. This means that if statement 1 is presented in the english-true version, the other versions may not be presented.I am not so familiar with JavaScript. Does anyone of you know a solution/script with which I can implement these conditions?Thank you kindly in advance,Elisa

I'm familiar with how to display Calendly into a Qualtrics survey. I'm curious if anyone has figured out (or knows) how to pass users' selections from Calendly embedded in a survey through the survey (e.g., if user confirms a date ask these follow-up questions -OR- if there are no remaining slots open, elect to be notified if any drop-outs or last-minute needs arise).
