Hi, I inserted some videos from my library in my survey and they played correctly in Google Chrome and Safari. But when I play them in fire fox, some parts of video are omitted for example video play only the last 3 seconds of the original video. I used Inspect Element in both browsers (Chrome and Safari vs Firefox) and they were same. Anyone has an idea how I can fix this issue. I do not know about Java at all and any help will be appreciated.

Is there a way to build a TOC using the group names instead of the block names? An alternative would be to inhibit the display of certain blocks in the TOC.

I've used the v3 API to create a subscription for a {survey ID}. But I'm not getting any POST updates on my URL, so, I was wondering if there is something needed to be done in the survey flow.

I've got a survey with a checkbox grid within a matrix (see rightmost region in the pic below): ! Pulling the survey JSON through the API works fine unless we use a question export tag for that column. In _that_ case, only one of the grid columns comes through. Any ideas on what's going on here?

We are writing a test on qualtrics. We want there to be a delay between questions to let participant know if they got the answer correct or incorrect. We are using colors to turn the screen red or blue after they put in the answer and want it to turn back to white on the next page. If anyone can help with coding, that would be very helpful. Right now the explode function and the delay do not work. Demographic information question and answers are usually short (Name, Age). I would like to put like two of the questions next to each other instead of one occupying an entire row/line. Thanks in advance. 

Hello Qualtrics Peeps! I’ve searched the KB and community and am not finding what I am looking for so I’m hoping one of you geniuses can help😊I’ve been asked to create a survey that adds piped text, either in the questions or the answers, from “data points in a database”. The plan is to use the data base to pipe in the name of support desk representative either in an email sent to the client or in the body of the question pipe in answer options Is this possible? TIA!

I am hoping someone could help me. Classic layout in Look and Feel and I want to reduce the size of the response option boxes on a multiple-choice question (single response).    

I want to hide the total row from the question. I know we have an option to untick the ‘add total box’. However, because of my custom theme, it is not aligning. So I want to hide this using Javascript.  

Dear Qualtrics Community, I’d like to explain what we’d like to achieve:We have a ‘survey project’ created where it’s used an anonymous link sent by our CRM system.  Incomplete survey responses. Settings are as follows:   Respondents are allowed to finish later: leave the survey and re-enter to finish. Once a customer enters into the link, they have 1 week before they’re considered as ‘incomplete’ We also record the ‘incomplete’ survey responses: for us it’s valid all information collected in the survey althought is not fully (100&) completed. Now we are working with our DataWareHouse system to ingest our database with the final responses obtained in Qualtrics. We are thinking of feeding our DWH bi-weekly or monthly, it’s not needed a daily process to retrieve data.How can the request to the API be configured to retrieve only those interviews that cannot be modified? Hello, I encountered an issue in Qualtrics email invites when using buttons. When participants forward the invite, the buttons become misaligned and the links stop working. As a temporary solution, we removed the HTML code responsible for rounded borders. I'm seeking suggestions or any customization options available to address this problem specifically in Outlook. Hi All! I was wondering if anyone had some information on how my client can integrate in-chat surveys on their automated chat and their live chat? After doing some digging, I read that Q only does email surveys with their Zendesk integrations but looking to see what their other options could be? They're looking to increase timeliness and response rate through potential integrations with the chat function.

I would like the background color of my email invite to be this color: #173963. Is there a way to code that?

Respondents are presented with a single-answer multiple choice question with two possible responses and one response selected as the default choice.My goal is to simply show respondents this set-up (default choice with two possible responses) but not allow them to change the selection away from the default.Any help would be appreciated!

Hello, I tried to use the Qualtrics library by using the a calendar date question and it seems like it should be easy to review the year but it does not work. Can someone help me? Here is the Javascript I am using from the library. I even tried to manually delete the years but when I review it in Preview the years disappear completely. I do not know how to program using code. I want the years to reflect 2021 to 2024. I tried to change the lines with the years in the code below but it does not change in Preview, it still shows 1900-2049. Thank you in advance. 2 Questions: How do I create a line break in my email trigger embedded data without understanding Javascript? I have programmed embedded data that only populates if a response is present. So the way I have this laid our I get lots of empty spaces. I’m trying to embed a survey in a website contact page where the background of the page is an image and the container the form is in is a different color with a % transparency over that background image. I can get the custom CSS to work in the preview, from what I can tell,  but then when I publish those aren’t being applied. It appears that the background color selected in the Look & Feel tab is still overwriting it. What I’m trying to match:What it looks like in Preview:Note the background is #FFFFFF, that seems to be overwriting the Custom CSS even though the preview shows the custom styles being applied.What the Custom CSS looks like:The background color for #page and the background image for body seem to be working but only in the preview.What it looks like published….

Hi All,I need to build a date of birth question.  At first I tested out a calender datepickr option but found the years too fiddly for if you need to go back to 1940’s it’s going to involve alot (!) of clicking the down arrow on the datepickr.  So my next option was to use a dropdown list.  I found a handy matrix question from the Qualtrics template library with some handy code in it to control leap years etc. and so went about tidying it up and improving things. I now have something like this (see below pic). The problem is the years start at 1900.  Our guests age range is rather wide and so even though I could probably start it off at 1930, it still means a lot of years and therefore alot of scrolling. I thought I could set a default (eg. 1980) and when you click on the dropdown it would scroll to this so that it was in view.  However my solution so far is not working well as I have to open it, then close it and open it again to make it work.  If there a fix for this?  I’ve also trie

Hi I have a question in my survey which needs to pull through a previous (numeric) response from another question. I perform some functions on the response then pipe the one of the values depending on another constraint. Some of the values may seem irrelevant. For the ones I care about I have tried creating embedded variables in the api but they either aren’t working or the output isn’t being displayed through the piped text.
