I want to have a question where the participant is listing something. I've figured out the Javascript to have multiple text boxes in one question (without labels) but I also want participants to have the option to add more boxes (such as a plus sign) if they have more to say. The picture I've attached is sort of what I'd want it to look like. I assume I would need Javascript so would someone also be able to tell me what the Javascript would be? !

Hello. I have a problem. I would like to give respondents to my survey an individualized feedback report that includes infographics. The best solution I could come up with was to make simple graphics in MS Paint that try to visualize the respondents score on various parts of the survey using a bar that was broken up into 5 segments. I then created versions of these images for each of the parts/dimensions of the survey and linked each of the five images to ranges of scores for the dimension. Basically I followed the instructions in this email I got from qualtrics support: "I would recommend using a combination of piped text and custom HTML coding to achieve this: depending on the survey respondent's score, you can assign them the URL to the graphic they should be sent, and then present that in the email body using HTML. In my survey participants need to listen to an audio and then answer a question. They shouldn't be able to pause the audio or play it more than once. Initially I set up autoplay, but it doesn't work on many Apple devices, which block autoplay. I've found a nice workaround - I hide audio controls, insert an image ("play" button) and some javascript to start playing the audio once the image is clicked. This works great to prevent pausing but doesn't prevent listening multiple times. I could set up an auto-advance timer, but what if the participant doesn't click on the image as soon as the page is loaded? So, my question is - is there a way to start the timer once the image is clicked instead of on page load? Any other workaround ideas very welcome! Thanks!

However, the list is about 200 options long so would really prefer the select box format so that I can use select2 to make it a nice dropdown with search.Is there something I am overlooking? I added an Authenticator at the beginning of our survey to verify an alum's External Data Reference and Last Name. It's working; however, the Last Name authentication is case-sensitive (i.e. the input must be exactly what is in the embedded data)...which we definitely don't want. I saw a post on the community that said Qualtrics is converting to non-case-sensitive authentication. But that's not what we're seeing. Could we be missing a plugin/feature that enables this? Or is this a setting we can change/override (e.g. can I use custom code to make the user's input and the embedded value lowercase for comparison sake)?

We're using a matrix constant sum survey question to have respondents record a count each day for 1 month. Each column is a day of the week (Sun-Sat), but the first of the month is on a Wed so we don't want respondents to enter counts in the boxes for Sun-Tue of that first week. Validations prevent me from setting up a default answer of "X" in these 3 boxes. Is some kind of JS I can add that will allow me to gray just those 3 boxes out, and maybe prevent data entry?

Hi, I was wondering whether there is a way for participants to calibrate the size of all the images I use in my experiment (so that for each participant the graphics would all be the same size on their screens). On previous platform I, for example, displayed a graphic that participants can then adjust to match a standard size (e.g. that of a debit card) and this adjustment is calibrated to all other images that are displayed throughout the experiment. Any tips would be welcome. Hello All,If we need to create and build our own web service that utilizes Qualtrics API's. What is the suggested approach to create own REST API web service call? Can we create using the Qualtrics developer portal? Is this the main purpose of this portal? Ideally I am not clear on what are the first steps that needs to be done on how to create our own web service by which we can utilize the Qualtrics APIs. Is it via any developer portal that qualtrics provides or is it in qualtrics sandbox - Is there any way to do so or SDK or any other way?Could you please give me directions and guide me here. Hello all,I am trying to call SAP API from qualtrics webservice which is a local host ip address. Whenever trying from survey flow, showing error local network address not allowed. If trying to call from actions web service then getting 500 internal server error. Could you please let me know what might be the reason for this issue? Hi All,With reference to the picture below, I would like to allow the respondent to answer the question in terms of per day/ per week/ per month.However, I have to change it into the design below, where the respondent could click on either day/week/month to indicate his/her preference. (Important context: using free version of Qualtrics)Looking to have respondents only enter capital letters for a form response. I've seen some coding answers to this issue (i.e. TomG), though I don't know what to enter in the appropriate areas. Responses will be Location #1, Location #2, etc. up to Location #5 accompanied with text fields for respondents to enter the desired location. I created some form validation with JavaScript to check if the user's input is correct (i.e. the calculation is correct). If it is correct then the user should be allowed to advance to the next question, if it is wrong the user receives an error message and is not allowed to proceed.My problem: In the same block, the user has a maximum of 25 sums to be solved with a time limit of 4 minutes for the entire block/25 sums. Hello there,So I created a block, in which the first question is Timing - meaning I put 7 secs till the block will automatically skip.But I don't want the participants to be able to continue/skip the block till the 7 secs are over - even after they answered the question that will be presented to them.meaning I want them to stay the all 7 secs no matter if they answered the question or not, and after the 7 secs are over the block will skip automatically.does someone know how do I disable the Continue option presented to the participants during the survey? Greetings.I have two 1 sec audio clips that play each time a survey is opened (see HTML code below). Ideally, I would like to delay when one clip plays for a second or so before the second clip plays. Can anyone recommend the best way to do this without javascript? I want to show the stacked list on top of the groups (see images) so it's more user friendly especially in mobile view.
