Hi, I am trying to add a calculator in to be displayed near a question for the respondent to do their own math and input an answer but I have very limited coding experience. How would I do this?

Deal All,  I need to show a different end-of-survey question to every 50th participant in my Qualtrics survey. I cannot ask for their email or name or any information. They have to submit a worker ID. I think I have to know the number of times someone has reached the end of survey.1st to 49th person will get EOS message 1, then 50th person will get EOS message 2, 51st to 99th person get EOS message 1, 100th person gets End of message 2 and so on. Please let me know how it may be possible. Any help is appreciated. Regards, O 

We’re using the Qualtrics SDK in an iOS app and some users have reported that the close button is very hard to hit. My guess is the button is only as big as the X/cross image.Is there a way to increase the size of the hit area, or the size of the X, to make it more easy to press?

I have noticed that the survey-definitions/{id}/questions endpoint (https://api.qualtrics.com/5d17de1a27084-example-use-cases-walkthrough#retrieve-an-existing-survey) returns question names that don’t align with the export-responses endpoint (https://api.qualtrics.com/6b00592b9c013-start-response-export). For example, when querying the survey definition, I have a question with QuestionID: QID1, DataExportTag: Email, QuestionType: TE, and then when exporting this response the field is actually called Q1D1_TEXT. At the moment it looks like I will need to detect what the question type is and append the expected type to the question ID myself. Probably _1, _2... for multiple choice, matrix, rank, etc, and _TEXT for text entry. Is there a list of what suffixes I will need to do this, or a better option for finding the export names in advance?If not, surely these should align in some way, and surely there shoud be a field in the survey definition which actually gives you the name or names of

I have the following setup in Qualtrics: Statement 1Question 1.1Question 1.2 Question 1.3 Question 2.1 Question 2.2Question 2.3 Question 3.1Question 3.2Question 3.3 I have them all in one block because all the questions needs to be displayed in one page.  I want to randomize questions 1, 2 and 3. This means Q1.1, Q1.2 and Q1.3 will appear together always. Similarly Q2.1, Q2.2 and Q2.3 will appear together. And finally, Q3.1, Q3.2 and Q3.3 will appear together. But the sequence in which the question groups (Q1, Q2 and Q3)  appear will vary. For example one respondent will see the question sequence as below:Statement 1Question 2.1Question 2.2 Question 2.3 Question 1.1 Question 1.2Question 1.3 Question 3.1Question 3.2Question 3.3 Please let me know.  Thanks, O

Hello, for work I have been building a dropdown with around 600 elements, and was asked to make it searchable so that anyone taking it would not have to scroll for ages. I was able to get it all to work, except when I try to have all 600 in the array, towards the bottom it just switches from the red element text, to black. This means it is not able to identify those last 50-100 elements when searching, and I am not sure how to get them all to work. I was wondering if anyone knew a workaround? I am assuming it is something to do with a character limit or memory. Below will be the coding I used, but I cannot list the actual array for privacy. I did try to concat the array with a secondary one of the blacked out elements, but then it would not register any elements. Hello Community,We are encountering an issue with our integration between Qualtrics and SuccessFactors. The error message we receive is: "Unable to load key." Trying to convert to PKCS8 format the a public and private key pair generated with the "Generate X.509 Certificate" button in the Manage OAuth2 Client Applications.Has anyone experienced a similar problem or have suggestions on how to resolve it? Kind regards 

In the company where I work, we have some surveys that are prepared for several different countries. We are undergoing a rebranding, changing the colors we use for everything that has our visual language - including the surveys - and we are implementing it one country at a time. Hello, I’m trying to remove users that have accounts in Qualtrics but have either never logged in or haven’t logged in for over a year.  I pulled a list of users from the User Admin section of my dashboard setup.  This showed me their last login date but it did not have their userId. So I used the “List User” function of the API to pull a list of all my users into a CSV file that does have their userId and then did a vlookup against the export from the dashboard above.  So with these two files I was able to make a list of users that I wanted to delete that has their userId. Now I want to use the CSV file with the API to delete the users.  The only column in my CSV file is called userId and the user ID’s are listed beneath.  The problem I’m having is that it’s returning a message saying that the user is not found: {"meta":{"requestId":"72375b15-4e33-4441-aa09-7b66ba723968","httpStatus":"404 - Not Found","error":{"errorCode":"DU_3","errorMessage":"User not found."}}}User details: {'userI

Hello all,We are trying to clone our Next/Previous buttons to the top and bottom of our survey but are running into issues with the New Survey Experience.We are referencing this post and this post to clone those buttons but the present code does not apply when using the NSE.We switched the existing survey back to the older style and the CSS/script for the header worked instantly so we assume it is how the NSE is interpreting the script.Has anyone been able to do this with the New Survey Experience?We appreciate any and all help!Thanks all!

I have a side by side question with 3 columns. For both column 1 and column 3, I want to set my minimum to 1 and maximum to 100. For column 2, I want my minimum to 1 and no maximum. How do I do this?  I appreciate any help!

Hello, I hope someone here can help. I am creating a slider style question in Qualtrics, that includes two statements within the question. The participant is required to provide a range of a total cost. Each statement (slider) represents a bound for the estimation. Slider 1 is the lowest bound, and Slider 2 is the highest bound for their cost estimate. I want the number in each statement to be converted to increments of 10,000, and have a $ added.I have applied a mutation observer in JavaScript, which multiplies the result by 10,000, and add a $ symbol, to represent increments of $10,000 for each increment. Here's the scenario:In the survey, there are two multiple choice questions:Question 1 (Q1): Participants indicate their country of residence among three options: Spain, Germany, or Sweden.Question 2 (Q2): This question offers three choices: Black, Orange, and Yellow.Now, what I want to achieve is to dynamically change the default preselected option in Q2 based on the answer given in Q1. I was looking to see if anyone is currently leveraging Pendo and Qualtrics. We have both solutions but want to pull in Pendo feedback so we have all feedback data in one location. Is it worth setting up a Qualtrics survey in Pendo or just work to use Pendo survey and push that feedback into Qualtrics?Would also want to see how easy it is to set up and what if anything to watch out for.

I need to create a survey that will go to a number of managers, each with one or more groups that they manage. For each group that they manage, I need them to be able to provide a description (text), and select from a list of services they offer.What is the best way to proceed with creating this survey? Drilldown is not that efficient in this case.

Hi all!!About 3 years ago there was a post about setting up a Star question instead of the bubbles. 1 year ago some Qualtrics gurus gave Java and CSS to override the multiple choice question set to be stars. It works great - if you want to do that check it out! BUT - We also put forced response questions in our survey. When you take the survey and fill in your star rating the stars turn yellow. If you skip a question that is required and Qualtrics makes you go back to retake the question - all your star ratings turn back to grey as if you did not select them. The data is still there. During testing, I did not go back and repopulate the stars and the data captured my first input. But this will not be a good customer experience. So if anyone has code (and an explanation for noob coders on where to put it) that can stop the stars from resetting their color - that would be AMAZING!! Thanks

Hello!I’m currently trying to manipulate the inputted date and time from a survey participants using flatpickr. For instance, if the user chose the following date and time (08/08/2024 9:00 PM) on flatpickr, I would like to subtract an hour from it and store it in an embedded value as (08/08/2024 8 PM). So far, I’ve created the necessary embedded data for the variables in the survey flow, and wrote the following Javascript: Using the written code, I’m able to display a calendar and time for the participants to choose: However, the manipulated date is not showing up in the next subsequent question; nothing shows up for ${e://Field/cigevent1} and ${e://Field/cigevent2} displayed in the next subsequent question. What I’m guessing is that something wrong happened in formatting the dates in the Javascript code, so its not correctly displaying as a piped text in the subsequent questions.I would very much appreciate it if someone could guide me on how to correctly store the date and time, and

Hi, does anyone know a way to show a question asking participants to indicate the time of the day in which they performed a certain behavior?I am looking for a response format in which they can put hours and minutes (possibly using the 24h format), without having a field text which will provide very dirty data. I tried some of the javascript for a time picker I found in the community but I could not make them work. Thank you!Giulia

In my survey I am trying to find out how people search to verify information. I want to have a search bar in my question which records the searches and saves them to a data field I can access when I do my data analysis. Ideally, I would also be able to log the links they click through on for each search, but I have no idea how to approach this. I have managed to code a search bar that opens a new tab of the google search onclick, and I have a JS function which appends each search in a local JS array, but I can't access those variables in the analysis. Hello Community, I am trying to connect Service Now API via Workflow using Webservice and it only works when i test but not when the workflow is triggered. I have whitelisted all the IP address for the region in ServiceNow.  I also tried adding the same webservice in surveyflow and while testing it works fine but while taking the survey, the webservice does not perform any action. Has anyone faced scenario like this and appreciate your inputs.

Hi, We have an embedded data field in a survey called EVENT_DT which states the date an appt took place, but the format in the sample file is set to mm/dd/yyyy. We wish to pipe this ED field into a question text, but have the format displayed as dd/mm/yyyy. Is this possible in any way as an embedded data function, or if not, possible via Javascript?Thanks
