Response rate widget in EX projects

Hi I am distributing an EX survey using a two ways approach, so i will be sending emails to those contacts who have it and i am also sending an anonymous link for those who don't to authenticate using the uniqueID, however i would like to know if using this distribution i can still use the response rate widget and how would it work. And if it doesn't work for my type of distribution what other alternatives di i have? Thanks!

Org Hierarchy Mapping - Leaving units unmapped

Hi XM Community, Maybe some of you know - is there a way in EX to do Org Unit mapping and leave some units not mapped Currently in order to show comparison based on org unit mapping, all units must be mapped. We are looking currently for a solution where we could a. map only certain units and not all – that is, for those unmapped to show blank in the comparison (currently if you leave at least one unmapped unit no comparison is shown)b. map top to top only (e.g., comparing a local survey with a historical global survey) without mapping every unit down. Thanks!

Reporting on Participants Project Status (Complete / Not Complete) in a Dashboard

Hello XM Community Do you know if there is any possibility to report on participants in the EX lifecycle survey project? We need to report on users who have not (yet) filled out a lifecycle survey but there seems to be no option to export this automatically on a frequent basis and show in a Qualtrics dashboard or elsewhere outside the system. The lifecycles we run are global and we are not collaborating them with local teams due to sensitivity of participant metadata. We are struggling to find an automated option (besides doing this manually) that would allow us to get participant names and their project status with permissions limiting the users to see only their own location / realm based on participant metadata. Options for Collaborative Org Hierarchy Mapping

Hi XM Community, Would you happen to know if there is any way where we could collaborate on org unit mapping (e.g., similarly to how we have the org unit validation) between current and historical survey project? Today, only survey owners and collaborators of the survey project can do org unit mapping. We are trying to find the most effective way to allow for our People Partners to have access only to Org Unit mapping option where they could see the org hierarchy and map parts of the organization they are responsible for. How to access dashboards without a link?

Hello, we are able to give our Executive team access to survey dashboards through an email link. Is there any way that we can set it up so they can log into Qualtrics and see all their dashboards, without having to find the old emails to get the links? Performance Reviews???

Has anyone used Qualtrics to perform a more traditional performance review by managers for employees? We are not looking for a full 360 experience, but wanted to see if anyone has attempted to utilize the system for performance reviews.

New Word Cloud Widget

I see that there is a new word cloud widget. Wondering what others think of it. We much prefer the display of the previous widget. Also, in our list there is a widget for "legacy" word cloud, but it is the same as the new word cloud. I think this would apply to EX and CX

Participation Dashboard Not Updating

During survey administration, we have a live participation dashboard to track progress. Throughout administration, we typically have a couple of meta data changes, or may add or remove participants (although we try to keep this to a minimum). Whenever a change is made, I always click "update all responses with current meta data" and "update invited counts," however, the participation summary widget always seems to be off in terms of the overall invited count denominator. Not normally by much, but by 2-10 employees. Is there something I'm overlooking/not doing?

Two clarifications on Ranked Questions

Hi Team,We have a set of 12 questions which are being ranked by the life cycle participants. In the dashboard settings, each question can be pulled as a single field and cannot group them under main question. So, I have requirements which I want to achieve but could not. I want this question to show as a filter on the dashboards. But I cannot bring that as a multi select field as there is no grouping on the settings. How to achieve this? I want to show a chart with the Top 1 to 3 reasons. How to achieve this and which chart to be used? Any solutions appreciated.Thank you.

How to import Participants into the Life cycle survey based on Dates

How can I add the current and historical hierarchy in my dashboard hierarchy filter?

I have 2 surveys mapped under one dashboard, the historical survey and the current survey. I have mapped both hierarchies but when I try to use both hierarchies in my hierarchy filter I am able to see only the hierarchy of the current survey. Am I missing something? The purpose of having both hierarchies under the hierarchy filter is to use them to to filter and display previous survey data and current survey data. Thanks,

Category score calculation

Does anyone know how the category score (e.g., % favorable) is calculated in EX. Is it the average of the items in the category or is it the sum of the favorable responses divided by the sum of all the responses in the category? It is a subtle difference - and would be more important when the number of respondents varies significantly by the questions in the category. But I want to make sure we can communicate it correctly.

How to create an org hierarchy where a single manager can be manager of multiple hierarchies?

We have a scenario where a single manager can be the manager of multiple org levels in a level-based hierarchy. Hence I wanted to understand how to set the template before uploading it to Qualtrics. As far as I understand, each participant's metadata acts as embedded data and not as transaction data. So if we use the level approach in the template, it will pick the latest level from the participant data which is what got me a little confused. Thanks!

How do we group age values into age ranges and visualize in dashboards?

Hi! For our exit survey project, we have imported our participants' ages into Qualtrics. The age is shown as a single numerical value. For the dashboard, we would like to visualize the responses broken down by age range. I have created buckets in the "Data and Analysis" section to put the single age values into age ranges, but am not able to visualize those ranges in our dashboard. I would appreciate any assistance that could be provided, thank you!

Efficiently managing the creation of 100+ roles in EX survey

We have a large number of roles (over 100) that need to be created in our EX survey for Dashboard page permissions. Manually uploading participants to each of these roles is a time-consuming task. Do you have any suggestions for how we can handle this process efficiently?

Org Hierarchy Questions

hello everyone,I was trying to create a feedback survey towards colleagues in an organizational structure and ran into a problem with questions based on a hierarchical organization. I imported the participants following the template provided by the platform "Generating a Parent-Child Hierarchy" with attached hierarchical structure, then added the question based on it. However, doing a test I cannot select the individual user who is part of the hierarchy, but only the manager. Does anyone know why this happens? Why is it that if I search for "Jane Smith", i.e. the employee, I cannot find it? Thanks in advance!

Hi All,Any help would be gratefully received.I am trying to build up a link and need to pipe the Unique Person ID into it. Response Ticker Grouping

Is there a way to use the response ticker, or another widget, that won't group all comments by participant if all our open-text questions are selected for display? If we filter on the open text questions individually, the anonymity threshold prevents many of our managers from seeing their comments, and if we select all the open-text questions, it groups them by respondent making it easier to deduce who the respondent is.

How to update an existing Hierarchy with additional level

Hi Team,We already have an level based hierarchy created and also it was added to dashboards. We closed our engagement survey and doing our analysis.We identified that, an additional level to be added to the existing level based hierarchy. Please let me know how to do this as I don't see an option on Org Hierarchy Settings.Appreciate any help on this.
