HI, How do others handle anonymity thresholds for their EX surveys when there are many people creating surveys and dashboards. We want to have a set standard so that others don’t deviate from it but it does not seem we can restrict it at an overall level.

Hello! New EX user here.We are creating an employee suggestion box (the project type is: Survey), to post on our company intranet. Employees will authenticate via SSO in order to leave their confidential feedback.The SSO authenticator works, and it captures the respondent email address. We ideally would like to connect the response to other employee metadata from our Employee Directory (e.g., country, department, etc.), but I cannot seem to find an option for doing so.  I don’t see an option in the authentication step of the survey flow for doing this. “Associate respondent with panel” doesn’t appear to be relevant, but please let me know if I’m mistaken. I’m open to any and all ideas for how to make that connection, from different survey types to custom workflows or other suggestions. We have historically received a high volume of feedback through our suggestion box and would love to bring that into Qualtrics. Thank you in advance!

I was just wondering if it is possible to nominate someone to provide feedback which is not part of the organization and does not have a Qualtrics user. What would be the best process here? Is it mandatory to create some user in this case and add the credentials piped text in the invite to grant access? Or is it somehow possible without credentials? BestChristian

Hello!I have a request to create a survey that is anonymous, and that allows me to share live dashboards with restricted visibility with stakeholders. So far, what I have come up with is this: creating an engagement survey and instead of using customized links, using the anonymous link. I would also not import any participants as respondents in this project. This way I can import the stakeholders as non-respondents, assign roles and share dashboards.Would you say there are drawbacks to using this solution?Another possibility is to use an anonymous survey: I am aware in anonymous surveys it is also possible to create live dashboards in the Results tab. However, those are difficult to share with a wider audience (I'd need to use a password protected link which doesn't seem very secure as per: https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/reports-module/results-dashboards/results-dashboards-settings/manage-public-results-dashboards/), and it is impossible to restrict data access for d

In the EX - Employee Engagement Project, I am looking to create a workflow that triggers an email to a particular employee group when a survey response is received. Unfortunately, when I attempt to filter the conditions, task, or email, it does not provide the proper metadata or embedded data that I need to identify the employee group. Does the EX Engagement Project workflows have the ability to filter down to specific metadata? I’d prefer not to create a separate embedded data field, since the field that I need is automatically within the employee file that we’re using. I’d appreciate any assistance or direction, thank you! 

I have created a new user - brand administrator account - and am trying to add them to a project (Employee Lifecycle) as a participant. I have confirmed that the account I created is valid, active, exists, etc. - when I search to add it manually - it doesn’t appear.  No matter what I do, I cannot locate the account to add it to any of our active projects.  The user needs to be able to be added to a specific project as a participant, then roles changed so they can view certain dashboards for the project.Can anyone explain what I am doing wrong.  I have never had this issue in the past, administer accounts for our organization and have never had an issue.  I have searched through countless articles and feel like I’ve exhausted every option I know to try.Thank you in advance. 

We are using a common device to survey an offline population. The issue we are running into is this:Once an employee completes the survey, the next employee receives the message: “you’ve already completed this survey”.The only way we have found around this is cumbersome. We have to clear the cache after every survey completion on the device. This is time consuming, and doesn’t work well when trying to survey a large population.We do utilize an authenticator on our survey. Does anyone know if its possible to work in code to auto-clear the cache upon authentication, or some feature in Qualtrics that will fix this issue? We have not been able to figure out a  better solution.

Hi,We created the exit feedback from the guided template thinking that the dashboard will populate automatically. However we have no clue if someone has gone and deleted the dashboard by mistake or while created we copied the project and not created from scratch. Now we are in place there is no template to populate the dashboard. We are new to Qualtrics hence not good with dashboard building yet. Is there a way we can import the template to the current project? As we do not want to create the project from scratch as all the API and everything has set up with the help of the consultant.

Hello! We did a full EX survey in May and plan to do a pulse survey in August and another full EX survey in November. We plan to copy the project for each new survey, which would result in three separate projects (one for each survey). Will there be a way to merge the data from all surveys in one Qualtrics dashboard so we can track trends for certain questions? 

Hi all! For context, I am currently running a program that has quarterly surveys. I am on Q2 of this survey, and of course the goal is to see trends from Q1. The hierarchy mapping for Q2 is pretty straight forward, but my question is, what does it look like when I have three projects / hierarchies? Right now, I’m mapping between Project 1 and Project 2 (both ways). For Project 3, will I have to map both ways to Project 1 and Project 2? Or just Project 2? The math is mathing on the level of work this will be if I have to map both ways for all historical projects 😅. 

I’m a brand administrator who wants to interpret and utilize EX25 at a more academic and professional level.In Qualtrics ex25, there are 30 total of 5 KPIs and 25 drivers, but there are too many drivers to explain 5 kpi to management only with correlation with 25 drivers, and too heterogeneous drivers to only correlate with high-correlation ones are identified in top 5.Recently, I learned about the structural equation model. I'm thinking about whether EX25 can be structured and explained 

What would you do if in an EX25 survey the "permanence" variable is barely explained by any of the questions in the model?

I’m getting the error message, “Header cannot be empty,” when I am trying to upload my participant file to our project. I feel like I have followed all the steps to prepare the file for upload. Is there something I’m missing? 

Hi Guys!I have an EX survey that i need to distribute in 3 languages (ES, BR-PT. EN), the issue is that some users do not have language code in their metadata or is a code outside from this 3 and I would like for them to get the email in PT-BR but everytime i create the email EN is created as the default language. Is it possible to change this and have PT-BR as the default language for the distribution? 

In an engagement project, when uploading anonymous survey responses from an external source, which will be used for a historical comparison, is there a way to build org structure other than upload of a fake participants list?

Dear all,My customer’s need is double:to send a (check-in) survey to a manager as many times a new report starts to work with her/him. to send the survey automatically on a regular basis, after 30, 60, 90 days from the new report’s hire date.Is the hierarchies feature - Employee Engagement projects - needed to address at least the first point or is there an alternative within Lifecycle projects?Is there any solution you might advice me for to address the second point? Thanks and regards,Pietro. 

Hey, I would like to use the data from Qualtrics attained from individuals branches/regions etc to distribute to the key stakeholders in a weekly newsletter in order to increase overall platform engagement.  Is this feasible? Does anybody have any experience, or indeed the intention to create something similar? Please share any information that you have related to the topic of integrating Qualtrics with a newsletter.  Thank you!

I am trying to show comparisons in a dashboard for 2 engagement projects. When I am trying to map my hierarchy (2024 hierarchy to 2023), everytime I try and map across names, it breaks the mapping apart. What am I doing wrong? When I press Save and Continue even after mapping one at a time, it never saves my new mappings. Right now, I have 10 unmapped units and I can’t see the dashboard comparisons until they’re all mapped.

I have 2 surveys that are linked in the same dashboard. In both surveys I have a question with a 1 to 5 rating.I would like to have a filter that applies only on data from survey 1, but that allows me to still see data from survey 2.Example: If I select 5, in the filter I will show me data from both surveys, where the user have selected 5 in survey 1.Is this possible?I get that when I set the filter to 5 it will by default only see data from survey 1, but wanted to know if this can somehow still be linked?

Goal: Use Lifecycle Surveys (EX) to automate surveys to managers of new hires. The surveys are used to assess the recruiting process.My Environment: My Directory is auto-populated nightly. Automation is set up on my manager project to pull in managers who recently hired an employee. I have Message Automation set up to send messages weekly. I can't create multiple user profiles for a manager, because manager user profiles are used with our SSO login for dashboard viewing. Use Case 1: I have a survey sent to managers one week before their new hire starts. I want to be able to send the survey to these managers when they've hired a second (or third or fourth) employee at a later date. The Problem: By default. Message Automation only sends messages to participants whose Project Status is Not Complete. So, anyone who has a second new hire will be in one of two scenarios:They completed their previous survey. Hello, I have a partner who would like to send an SMS reminder in their lifecycle survey after an initial email invitation. I saw a community discussion from about 4 years ago asking about this same topic with a response at the time stating that at the time there this was not possible.  In the past 4 years has this enhancement been made or is it still not possible to change distribution method between linked invitations/reminders?
