Hi Community!I can't seem to change the Field Type of variables in a Data Project.I have a standard ETL workflow that extracts all responses from a survey (CSV) and loads them in a Data ProjectBy default, during the ETL process everything is loaded as Open Text. Or at least everything seems to revert to open text when I inspect the workflow. I can assign a field type the first time, but when I trigger the WF it reverts to Open text.In the Data Project, I want to assign Field types to all variables, for example dates, with the intention to load it as a source in a dashboard and match the variables of a survey When I inspect the data fields of the data project, they all look like this (Open text)I can change the field type and save, but soon after it reverts to Open text.Why? 

Hi community, I’m trying to redirect the respondents to a new survey without clicking in the end of survey message. Earlier I had hyperlink in the End of survey message to redirect the respondents. Now, I just need to know how to redirect without any clicking in the end of survey message using JS.It will be great if someone shares the code for this. Hope someone has solution for this.

Hello!I would like to add an additional line comparing one team to another team within a line chart widget. According to the articles I have found under the help section of XM Discover, it does not seem like this is possible; however, I am wondering if any of you have found a way to do this? Pic attached for visual reference:  

Hi, I'm using default choices to store some calculations based on the answers given by respondent in previous questions (to build more complex validation inside questionnaire) and I was wondering, maybe somebody has already managed how to make those fields with default choices uneditable?

I am fairly new to Qualtrics and am attempting to embed a survey through an iFrame into a course webpage hosted by Thinkific, a learning management software. Thinkific has its own next buttons that override the next button on my survey, causing participants to click out of the survey early and move onto the next page of the course. Does anyone know how I might require participants to interact with the survey? Ideally I don’t want participants to be able to click through the page until they have reached the end of survey. Are there other ways to embed the survey that might solve this problem? I reached out to Thinkific and they said currently they don’t have a way of fixing this on their platform. Thanks for any help! 

Hi EveryoneVia survey workflow, I can successfully add a respondent to an XM directory. ✅I can also unsubscribe them; ✅But doing this, only unsubscribes them from the contact list in question.How do I unsubscribe them from the directory? I assume if they’ve opted-out from a contact list like the above, they could still receive correspondence as they remain opted-in to the directory?If someone presses unsubscribe from an email invite, do they unsubscribe from the contact or the directory?As always, thanks for your help!

Hello,We currently are running an revision on one of our surveys due to it’s low Response Rate, however, we’d also like to know if our current number is actually low in the first place when comparing ourselves vs the rest of the industry.Does anyone know if Qualtrics offers any sort of library/documentation of  benchmarks so we can compare with industries similar to ours?Thanks,Daniel

Hi Community!I need a Workflow that, whenever a new response is recorded, makes a copy of it in a Data Project (for benchmarking purposes). I will use this in many different surveys.Later I will add the Data Project as a additional Data Source to my CX Dashboard next to the Survey Data (variables will have to match).So I thought to simply use these three tasks:T-ID 0 - Response from survey recordT-ID 1 - Extract response from surveyT-ID 2 - Load result from T-ID 1 in Data Project This works, except that the second task extracts the descriptive label of the question rather than the the question number. So in the calse of my CSAT (Algemene tevredenheid) it takes “Algemene tevredenheid” instead of alg_tevreden:The reason I would rather it takes the question number is because the third task (loading the response in the data project) automatically removes white spaces in descriptive labels. So “Algemene tevredenheid” becomes “Algemenetevredenheid”When I then add the Data Project to a CX Das

HI community! In a Table widget in a CX Dashboard, I want to use the Significance Testing option to compare the Compare current value to another value. However, the results looks strange.In the documentation, it states that each value is compared against each other value when determining significance of a change.In my table, I have three filtered averages on a 10-point scale in the columns, and a group of variables in the rows.As you can see, even though for all three columns I selected the same Significance Test, the results are not what one would expect. Why?  

Hi, I am trying to create a travel log (known as a travel diary) for my research. I have two separate questions.1) is it possible to create a web-based form (similar to a diary) that participants can log in each time and enter a trip they had within a day (multiple logins and multiple data entries in a day or week)?2) Is it possible to let respondents add statements/rows in a side-by-side matrix? (I need them to be able to add statements/rows so that they can enter each trip they had in a day in a city with distance, etc.)Thanks,

I copied a survey and read that if the original was deleted, then the copy would be deleted as well. Can someone please confirm or deny that? Thank you! 

Hello Everyone,I am working on setting up a system for automatically generating closed loop tickets if specific keywords appear in the comments. I've successfully established a workflow for ticket creation, but I'm facing a challenge as the business has provided me 45-60 specific keywords that should trigger a ticket.My main issue is I need to input 45-60 individual conditions into the workflow, which is quite a difficult task. So I want help if there is a more efficient solution to this problem. 

Is there a way to change, edit, or delete an end of survey message once it is created?  I had to make a slight adjustment and I had to create a whole new message?

Hello, Does anyone know if it’s possible to use e in qualtrics math operations?I need to calculate prob=e^G1 where G1 is a numeric embedded data variable. I’ve tried $e{exp(${e://Field/G1})}  and $e{e^${e://Field/G1}} and I got “invalid expression” for both when testing. Thank you!! 

I have a side-by-side table, and I edited one of the column’s drop down list and accidentally must’ve removed the header, which was just a “ . “ And when that got removed, the entire middle column’s text entry boxes disappeared. The columns also got shifted and aren’t aligned.   I have had this issue before with Qualtrics and usually I just remake the table, but since we have survey submissions already, I dont want to delete it and remake it.

I am new to Qualtrics and am trying to setup a form to do the following:user accesses anonymous link on a SharePoint Communication Site user completions their section of the form (several blocks) and ends survey to record responses (thought I had to end the survey at the end of the user portion of the survey to trigger the workflow to send out the email – it doesn’t work otherwise) A workflow is setup to send an email to their supervisor (email address is obtained from a question in the user’s part of the form) – using a retake linkhttps://xxxx.au1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_dmtTkuNnGBvNoSa?Q_R=${rm://Field/ResponseID}&Q_R_DEL=1Supervisor completes their section of the form and ends survey again to complete to whole form A workflow is setup to notify the organisation’s support staff that a completed form has been done. The support staff would then review the form and action if required (yet to be completed).It is working to a point, the email is sent to the supervisor when the user

I have a 5 block survey. Questions are visible in all blocks and can be answered. When data are downloaded, all data from one of the blocks does not appear. Its like no-one answered the questions but unlikely that ALL respondents would skip the same questions. Data from all other blocks, including the one immediately before and the one immediately after this block downloads fine.  I’m stumped 

I have been having issues with the link to my Qualtrics study, with it working seemingly on and off. Sometimes it only works on laptops, sometimes only on phones. I've tried all the usual tricks like trying the link on different browsers and turning off my VPN, but there is no pattern I can discern dictating whether the link works or not. Several people have let me know in the last few days that the link is not working. But it appears to be working now for me. I am very confused.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated because I honestly have no idea what is going on.  

Hello,I am trying to populate my imported data “database” to my supplemental data field on my survey flow- and nothing is populating. I have tried refreshing my account, and deleting and re-importing my imported data project.Any suggestions or support pages that would help with setting this up? Thank you in advance!

Hi All, i am trying to link two surveys together. It has been done by someone in my team before, but now they are not here anymore. so lets say we had three surveys A,B and C. and we had one intake survey, where the managers chose which survey should be sent to the customer form a drop down and filled embedded data fields like customer contact and the survey was sent. Now we have to replace the A, B and C with D, E and F. i want to use the same intake survey and just change the options. Can u please help me what i need to change in the survey flow below? (lets say i am replacing A with D here) 

How do we get the survey from Qualtrics to map to the Salesforce contact record? 

My survey that I sent out has 20+ embedded fields.  I’m wanting to report back on response rate’s.  We sent out one survey however with in that survey responders could either be part of one group or part of another group.  When I go to download history in distribution/email screen only set fields are extracted.  Is there another area to view and figure out exact number?  2347 surveys were sent out1718 were sent to group A629 were sent to group BSo far total of 287 have responded however is there an easier way besides doing a Vlook up and downloading two different sheets to see total responses for each.  I can then do the percentages. 

I’m running a survey that’s been targeted by some bots and I came across the honeypot method. The code below was posted several times but I’m confused with what I do with it and to test it.Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnload(function() {jQuery("#"+this.questionId).prev('.Separator').hide();jQuery("#"+this.questionId).hide();}); Is the above correct? Do I simply copy and paste that into the JavaScript after deleting all the other stuff? Do I have to make edits to it? I don’t code so I don’t know if that messes things up. And after I do that, do I simply write my question and only bots will see it?
