I have a CX dashboard where I would like to utilize textiq widgets, however I would like to analyze and display all the open text questions as though they were one question to capture a wider picture. I know that if it was only one survey that had multiple open text questions I would go into field editor  and create a merge field. I am unsure of the best way to go about this being that is more than one survey we’re pulling from and each of the surveys has 2+ open text questions.

Hello! I’m new to Qualtrics. My lab has many measures in a pdf format that they would like to put into Qualtrics. Looking over the instructions for importing measures, it seems only .docx and .txt files are acceptable to import if I want people to be able to fill out the survey in Qualtrics. Would it be easiest to make the pdfs into Qualtrics surveys manually? 

Hi everyone,I’m trying to build a global survey use case in Qualtrics where a single master survey needs to be distributed to respondents across 5 countries, each receiving it in their local language (English, French, German, Spanish, and Japanese).Here’s what I’ve set up so far: Created one master survey with 5 language translations under Tools → Translations Added an embedded data field in the Survey Flow (Language) Created a contact list in XM Directory with a field for each respondent’s language preference (e.g., EN, FR, DE, ES, JA) Plan to distribute via Qualtrics email Questions: What’s the correct configuration for Qualtrics to automatically send the survey in the respondent’s preferred language? Should I use Language or Q_Language as the embedded data field? Appreciate any help or best practices from anyone who has implemented a similar setup.

can we change the default shown text on dropdown in qualtrics eg "Select one" to "Unselected"  

Hi,In the Audience Management program, there is a Panel Invitation Survey.Is it somehow possible to show a message to the respondent when they fill in an email address that is already a member of the panel? So that they don’t need to fill in the registration again. Some people just forget what they subscribed to already in the past :) I tried using the Authenticator, but I would actually need an “opposite authenticator”.Because now, when using the authenticator, when I fill in a new email address, then I want the respondent to be able to continue to the rest of the survey,but with the authenticator, they get a red error message indicating “too many login attempts”. Even if we customize the displayed message to “you are not a panel member yet, please continue your registration” instead and put the “Maximum authentication attempts” to 1, there is still that in-between screen with the message in red...

Hi allIn order to comply with our organisational GDPR policy, we need to delete data after a certain time period. Is there a trigger within the Qualtrics Directory that we can set to delete contacts after a certain time frame?For example 'delete all contacts that were added in 2018'?ThanksTracey

Hi,We are trying to set up SSO in our organization in Qualtrics.Below are my queries:In Authentication tab, I came to know there is a check box which when enabled,  automatically creates a user in Qualtrics. I am not able to locate the checkbox. Does it need to be enabled by Qualtrics ? For those users who do not have any other role of dashboard or survey provided to them, I would like to display a message and a link to survey to raise request. Now I know this can be achieved by having a custom dashboard link with customized message. Is there any standard messaging mechanism for this ?Thanks in advance.Neha Tank

I’m fairly new to Qualtrics and hoping maybe someone else has done something similar.  Is it possible to add a participant to a lifecycle project via a workflow from another source/ Qualtrics survey/ form?  Can someone provide detailed instructions in order to do so?Trying to build a workflow that would work something like the following:HR Manager enters an Employee ID # via Microsoft form or Qualtrics survey notifying of employee intent to term  Workflow immediately picks up Employee ID# from the form or survey and matches to Employee Directory (employees are already populated and do not need to be added) Participant is added to Termination survey (survey set up to email the participant as soon as added) in order to capture their feedback before last day of employment.

How do I make it so that authenticated participants (i.e., from a contact list) can use the same link (with an embedded userid on the end) to do multiple responses? More specifically, Imagine survey “mood” is presented on multiple different days across several weeks. The same survey is used each time (i.e., the URL does not change) and the userid suffix is added in order to authenticate. So, participant 11002 would do “mood” survey on days 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, & 14. Would adding another suffix work? For example, adding a “wave = 1” for the URL on day 2 and “wave = 2” for the URL on day 4… I just don’t want to have participants receive a message saying that they have already completed the survey (which we have on purpose for other (not “mood”) surveys in the study).

Hi,On my dashboard, I added a "description" in some widgets, which gives the (i) info icon.It use to be that whey you hover over that (i) icon, that you see the description.However, now I am getting the following:it sais "description Yes" instead of the actual description...is this normal?

Hello,I have a survey that has two workflows requesting approval through a retake URL.  One for time off and one for funding.  I would like to create a third workflow that will send an email to the requestor when both of the retakes have been completed and that notifies them of the outcome.  I feel like this is doable, but not sure how… any help would be greatly appreciated. 

Hello community!Hoping to get some input on how schools are running their Directory. We want to have a Directory at each of the Student, Parent and Staff levels. We are setting up our student Directory, pulling all data and contact info from our SIS. Is it possible to send a survey to parents using the Student Directory if the parent email is in the embedded data? Or is that best practice… should we be sending surveys with parents as the intended respondents to parents in the Parent Directory and not using the Student Directory? If so, how does responses data get connected at the student level? For example, if we want to send out a survey to parents of students with an IEP, or in Grade level 5, 7, or 9, is it possible to do that through the Student Directory where that identifying information is collected?

Hi Community,I’m configuring a dashboard that contains data from 9 regions.Each region has one user responsible for it, and I’ve shared the dashboard page with these 9 users, applying data restrictions so that each user can only see data for their assigned region (as shown in the screenshot below).Share dashboard to 9 user with data restrictionsWhen these users access the dashboard, I’d like: One widget display the CSAT of all 9 regions(e.g., “CSAT by Region”) While the other widgets remain restricted to each user’s assigned region (following their data restriction). I’ve already tried locking the filter for the “CSAT by Region” widget with Region = All,but this only works correctly from my admin view — where I can see all 9 regions.When I log in as a restricted user (for example, Region CTKV1), the same widget only shows that region’s data, instead of displaying all 9 regions.It seems that when I share the dashboard page and apply data restrictions, the entire dataset has been locke

Hiya,I’ve setup a vertical bar widget to show the breakdown of NPS over time.Currently its showing each week against promoter, passive, detractor.Is there a way to flip the axis so time is the X axis and for each week it shows the breakdowns? Current setup:

If I upload contact w/ Ext. Hi everyone,I’m hoping someone can help me with an issue I’m having.In my Survey flow, I’ve set up an embedded data field that’s determined by the URL.For example, ?source=Label or ?source=Social.  This part is working correctly, and the data is being captured as expected in the Data & Analysis section.However, I’ve also created a workflow to pipe all the data into a Google Sheet.The only field that isn’t being transferred is Source. For this field, I’m using the expression ${e://Field/Source}. Does anyone have any ideas on why this might be happening? Thanks :) 🤞

I need to CC an email address (different for each contact) when sending an email for survey distribution. I read about “Setting up a Send a Survey via Email Task”, but when trying on this solution I can’t get the CC email address field from the contacts list embedded data fields. Any ideas on this? 

Hi I would like to have a response rate table by relationship type.Same as the one that are possible with any metadata field, i tried with relationshipID since relationshipname is not an option, but the widget keeps breaking down.  Does anyone know a possible solution for this, or a way around? 

Hello, I am displaying images (at the top of the page) and then two related questions (just below the image). Questions are radio button choices and they are always the same regardless of images (there are 16 images altogether randomly presented). This part is working fine with Loop and Marge (with three fields, Field-1: image link from library, Field-2: image_type, Filed-3: image_name) I want to know: Which image was presented, type of image, answer choice selected for Q1, answer choice selected for Q2. I have created embedded data (16 images x 4) 64 fields (it’s a messy way) but having difficulties in saving the data:Image name (Filed 3, working fine, I can save it with embedded data) Image type (Filed 2, working fine, I can save it with embedded data) Which answer was selected for the image for Question-1 (Not working, I can’t save it with embedded data) Which answer was selected for the image for Question-2(Not working, I can’t save it with embedded data) I want the data (after exp

Hi, In order to save time and minimise possible mistakes, I'm looking to duplicate an existing survey I've created and tweak it quite a bit for a different group of people. (I know I could add a branch logic etc., but that would complicate things further).I just could not see anything in the support database on how to do this. Is it even possible?
