How to finish partially completed surveys saved in the database

Hi, I have an anonymized survey distributed by email with the Qualtrics platform. Initially the "1 month" duration option was selected, after which every incomplete survey began to be saved in the database. However, I would like people to still be able to complete these surveys, since we still haven´t reached the ideal sample number. I realise there is a "retake survey link" option. However, I don't understand how this can be used, since I don't know who in the contact list corresponds to these incomplete surveys. Is this possible to achieve? Thank you

After selecting a block in branching option, survey is getting terminated.

I have following survey flow ! After going to the block specified in the first branch, the survey gets terminated. I want the survey to go into the survey loop again

Carry forward from matrix table

Hi all, I have a matrix table (bipolar type) with 10 statements, each with 2 scale points and 2 labels. When I carry forward the selected statements into the next question they appear on the screen with the following text between them: Statement1||QBipolarDelim||Statement2 where Statement1 and Statment2 are my first and second statement respectively. If anyone has any clues about how to solve this display/formatting issue, that would be great. Ideally, I was hoping only to carry forward the single selected statement (i.e. as I have 2 scale points the user is forced to pick 1 statement). Is this possible? Thanks in advance for your help! Is there a limit of browser cookies if distribute my survey as multiple completes?

I allow subjects to do multiple completes for my survey. My survey has 2000 questions, and answer type is text entry. Subjects will have 2 weeks to finish the survey. Since the survey is super long, they can always continue the survey from where they are left with before. I understand that multiple completes works for storing the information of where the subjects are left with in the survey is through browser cookies. I am concerned that, since my survey has so many questions, will browser cookies reach a limit at some moment, as a consequence, the browser fails to remember where the subjects are left with before? I just want to make sure that there is no problem of using multiple completes for my survey with 2000 questions.

In a survey can you only display a question if it is the 3rd respondent?

My team has a survey where we only want to show a question to every X number of respondents. We don’t need to ask the question every time but maybe every 3rd respondent will get this question. Is this possible?

Specifying a Text Anchor

I want to add some additional descriptive text within a question to link to from a question statement. I found the following in the user documentation: "Text anchors allow you to link to content in the same question. For example, if you have a long disclaimer with various sections in your survey, you can use a text anchor to link to the top of each section—ultimately making it easier for your participants to navigate. Text anchors must be specified in the question in order to use this option." However, It does not explain how to specify a text anchor.

Can you access the position of an element in the randomizer

Dear all, we have the challenge that we need to present 3 questions in a randomized order. The question texts are dependent on the position of the question. The idea is to have the question text variable and set it according to the position. How do I disable the respondent to continue the survey if they did not get the last question correct

What I am thinking is to save the score of that question as embedded data, and then if the answer is incorrect, branch to a new block saying 'it is a wrong answer, please go back', and hide the 'next' button by adding Javascript. Is there any alternative easier way to do that instead?

Picture Gallery Option in Qualtrics?

Hey there, I am wondering whether it is possible to include a "picture gallery" into the Qualtrics survey? I want the participants to be able to click through a set of pictures via (left and right) click options on the picture screen. Essentially, it is supposed to be like on a shopping site, where I can look at a certain product picture and than via the arrows (left and right) navigate through the pictures provided. Does this feature exist? In my case it would be a lot better if the participants did not have to scroll through, to see the pictures.

Game: Spot the difference in a picture

Hey everyone, in a survey I would need to implement the "spot the difference" game (this well-known game in which people have to spot a difference between two pictures). My intention is to use this game and study participants can only proceed to the next survey page when they have clicked on the difference in the picture. Can you do SFdC Mapping Post Survey Submission?

We ran a survey a few months ago, but did not have the survey object in SFdC set-up yet to map responses into it. The survey object has now been created. Is it possible to go back and retroactively map these responses to the survey record. We want to avoid having to manually add them in. Thank you!

determine whether the responder work on the survey on the same day

I have a long survey in which a responder can work on it for several days. I want to display a specific block if the responder opens the survey in a new day. So I need to detect whether the day when the responder reopens the survey is different from the day of his last activity on the survey. Note, not the date which including the hour, minutes and seconds, ONLY the day, like March 20th. I tried to use embedded data but failed because it compares between the dates instead of the only DAY. Is there any alternative way I can do that? Thanks a lot! !

how do I know if response collected through the offline app is with the latest version of the survey

I would like to find out if there is any way to know which version of a survey is used for a specific response? I have 30 iPads globally and I asked my teams to refresh the survey on the devices after I updated the survey in Qualtrics. Is there any way to see remotely if this has actually been done ? For eg is there any embedded data that I would see in the "data&analysis" tab under data that would show me which version of the survey the answer is collected? Thanks so much!

I don't want my subjects to work on the survey on weekends, is there a way to prevent that?

Since my survey is super long, it needs the subjects spend 10 days on it within 2 weeks (every day 30 minutes), meaning skip Saturday and Sunday. For example, a subject opens the survey on Friday and continue to work on it from where he/she was left with on Thursday. But if he/she wants to open the survey on Saturday and want to continue to work on it from where he/she was left with on Friday, a message pops out 'you cannot work on weekends'. But when the next Monday comes, the subject can continue to work on the survey from where he/she was left with on Friday. Is there a way to do that?

How can I use Qualtrics to randomise participants into 4 conditions while keeping gender ratio even?

Is there any way to use Qualtrics to assign research participants into four between-subjects conditions WHILE ALSO keeping the gender ratio for each condition roughly balanced? Assuming I collect gender information as the first question on a survey, is there some way to use quotas or randomiser features or display logic to make this happen? I have tried to think it through but can't think of any way to do this.

What experience do users have in integrating Qualtrics into their data lakes?

Custom HTML Code in Rich Content Editor (CSS/bootstrap.min.js and javascript)

I have designed few end of survey messages templates and Email template to be sent out to the survey takers. The development team in my company created this for me using HTML and CSS coding. The codes doesn't seem to working at all. Here is my question - Is CSS/bootstrap.min.js and javascript supported in RIch Content Editor?

How do I pipe the top 3 choices from Rank Order into the next three questions?

Hi QX Peeps, I've created a rank order question and would like to pipe the top 3 choices from the rank order into the next three questions. The first one is easy - I can use ${q://QID1003/ChoiceGroup/ChoiceWithLowestValue} - however I can't see an option to pick the next two after that. I tried altering the format to ${q://QID1003/ChoiceGroup/ChoiceWithSecondLowestValue} or ${q://QID1003/ChoiceGroup/ChoiceWithNEXTLowestValue} - these don't work. I'm wondering if anyone has solved this before?

Contact Import Automations and Data Transformation

We are using a contact import automation to ingest a file from an internal database, but need help with transforming some of the data in the file we are importing. Our internal database stores first and last names of customers in all caps (ie SUSAN JOHNSON), thus the records being imported into are in all caps. We are wanting to know whether Qualtrics can transform the data so that names are in the proper case (ie Susan Johnson). Has anyone used Qualtrics for transforming data on a Contact Import Automation?

Missing "Settings" Option on Participants tab?

I recently noticed in my Participants tab in a 360 project that the "settings" option is missing. It used to be right next to "Tools" and it allowed the participant lists to be sorted alphabetically; I know it was there because I would always have the lists sorted ABC, but now they are just in random order and is making it difficult for me to monitor completion rates. Anyone know why this would be missing or how to get it back? Or is there another way to sort in ABC order?The image below shows the Qualtrics support page that shows the Settings option there. !
