Hi, I've programmed a survey to be used as a daily diary in my study, which means I'll have to distribute this survey on a daily basis over a period of 21 days to several participants starting the study on different days and at different times. Is there any way to set up an automatic distribution of these surveys (with expiration of each daily survey after 1 day)? Thanks

I find responses that could be useful later and would like to "bookmark" them. How do I do that? All I get when I click on the star in the space next to my name is that I do not have any bookmarks.

I'm trying to set up email trigger for the survey. I'm using Pick, Group and Rank (PGR) type of question. There are 5 groups and 54 items. Students select 1 item for each group. I would like to display group labels (Preference One, Preference Two, Preference Three, Preference Four, Preference Five) and selection made in the corresponding group in the "Preferences Submission Confirmation" email. I can display the selected choices ${q://QID7/ChoiceGroup/SelectedChoices}, but they are not displayed in the correct order. I can't find a way to show it in pairs: Label:Preference One - corresponding selection. Could you, please, advise on how to do this? Thank you in advance. Svetlana

My organization is using Qualtrics to host our new request form for some of our print materials, and the slider bar is the cleanest way to display the values they're able to order these materials in. Ideally the options would be 50, 100, 500, and 1000 with no other options, but even if I could just set a custom increment at 50 so that the numbers generated on the slider aren't as random that would be a big help. I've scoured the forums but I can't find an answer -- how can I set a custom value on the slider bar or at least set a custom increment?

Hello! I am currently running a study that will allow participants to skip questions that they do not wish to answer, and then tie their payment to the % of the survey that the participants have actually completed. I would like to display this completion % at the very end of the survey so that participants can understand the basis of their payment. For example, when participants complete 10 out of 20 questions, they get 50% completion rate, and then they will earn 50% of their payment) Is there a way for me to automate this within Qualtrics? I know the existence of the progress bar; but I think the metric that I am hoping to capture is slightly different. Thank you!

I'm unable to understand a couple of things: - What is QBuilder for other than creating HTML tags inside of the JS? - What are the last two parameters inside of the function call doing? The `{}` and the variable after it don't seem to make sense. Hi there, As I am a Qubie, my question is probably a really basic quota question. I am trying to build a survey with a monadic testing design to assess 3 different stimuli. There should be cross-quota for gender and age for each monad, e.g. 25 men/20-33 years,, 25 men/34-55 years,50 women/20-33 years, 50 women/34-55 years. For now, I'm thinking of a very straightforward approach to build one branch per monad in the survey flow and steer the visibility of each branch via quota. The idea is that once a quota (e.g. men, 20-33years) for branch 1 is met, the participants should participate in branch 2 and so on. Unfortunately, I'm struggling with setting up the cross-quota to ensure that every respondents sees just one branch of the survey. I've been playing around with the display logic and the quota actions. However, somehow this doesn't really work out. BTW: We are not using advanced quota. Hello, I'd like to use a sorting algorithm for pairwise comparisons of about 24 items in a survey. I think the Introsort algorithm would serve my purposes well. As far as I can tell, this could be set up as Javascript in a question, but I'm not familiar with Javascript and haven't used this sort of function in Qualtrics before. Does anyone have any advice? Hi community, our research team is deploying several hundred android tablets with the Offline App for use in a survey of students several times per year in multiple schools. It would be fantastic if there's some type of documented (or undocumented!) way for us as survey and tablet administrators to not have to go into each tablet and (1) click "Refresh", then (2) "Download survey", then (3) "manage survey", then (4) "put into kiosk mode". It gets tedious (and human-error-prone) with the hundreds of tablets when we create new surveys for the students to take. Have we missed something in the help pages that this is a feature? Or might there be a way to automate this with javascript? If not, could someone point me towards where I can request this functionality in a future app version?

Hi, I got 80 pictures split in 2 groups ( groups 1 and 2 ) which are also split in 10 categories from "a" to "j" ( each category contain 4 pictures ). I need to randomly show 40 pictures, 20 pictures from group 1 and 20 pictures from group 2. Whats important is if picture number 1 from category "a" is showed i also need to show remaining 3 pictures from category "a". So basically i need to randomly display pictures from each 5 categories from grup 1 and group 2. The more randomized display of pictures is then beter. I also need to set time limit for display ( 4 s ) for each picture. Have anyone done something similar before? I am open for any ideas.

I'm using a multiple choice question, and want them to stay if they answer it with d, e, or f. But if they respond with a, b, or c, they can go on to the next question (or block). Any ideas?

Whenever I send out a mailing, the same group of people continue to get bounce backs. How can I prevent them from appearing in my mailing when I'm sending an email to my directory. Additionally, how can I "unsubscribe" them from appearing in my directory.

Hi everybody, I am newbie and I am currently attempting to build-up a survey in the form of a time-use diary of the everyday activities of my respondents. This means that I need to ask them a few questions (What activity were you doing at 7 a.m.? until which time did you do that activity? with whom? where were you?) many times, until they have covered the entire day. Anyway, every time I ask again "what activity ere you doing at *...* ?" I insert, via piped text, the time they put at the previous "until which time did you do *previous activity*?", so that I cannot just duplicate my first block many times, I would need an algorithm to imitate the first block way of working in all the following ones. Does anyone have a suggestion about how to achieve my aim? Thank a lot in advance!

I set up display logic for answer choices in a question based on embed data (for ex show only these options if embedded data countryID=UK). Now to test I don't see any options. Is there a way to test this in the UI "preview" mode by putting in dummy embed data or do I have to now generate the links with embedded data and test that way only? I'd like to first see the logic makes sense (if possible) and then actually test the entire survey with a limited number of users / dummy URLs.

Hi, I'm putting together a two part survey that needs to be completed by two different people. To be more specific, Part 1 needs to be fill out by new employees and once completed it should be sent to HR for them to fill out Part 2, and then all responses should be kept together. Hi all, We have a list of students who are all supposed to complete ten different surveys. We are sending the surveys out through a contact list. I was wondering if there is a way to see which contact has completed which survey. This can be done per survey using reports, but I was wondering if there is also an option at a higher level to see all the surveys that contact have finished. I can't find any such thing in the contact options. Any ideas?

When I am using piped text option, Its copying the right response however there is no space after the piped text, so 1. It merges to the next word after piped text 2. I want to bold the piped text or change its color may be How can I do that?

However, the choice label was placed below all the response options. Wonder whether anyone be able to please explain: (1) how to place the choice label (i.e., "adjustment") in line with the response options and (2) why the code will only work for the mobile-friendly option (i.e., why the ",000" disappeared when it was unticked)? Dear all I have 4 blocks in my survey that I randomized (all 4 pages being represented to each participant). Now I would like to inform the participant, on which site of the four he/she is. I thought of using the Randomizer of the Survey Flow (only used "randomize" and show all four blocks) as this literally is the reference I need. But it is not possible to implement it in the Block as embedded data. - How do I implement this Randomization number as piped Text? - Is this otherwise possible with pages? (If yes, how?)

How do I conditionally display a message based on a user’s multiple-choice answer? (i.e. take them to a “your answer is correct” message, or “try again” message.) Do I do that through question validation? Or set up branch logic and blocks in every question? I’m not sure what’s the best way to do this in Qualtrics?
