Hi all, Having a bit of trouble with Research Core... When I preview my survey, a question that's of type = graphic does not display, and the image shows as broken. I can see the image when I'm editing the survey. I did this: 1. In Research Core, open survey in edit mode 2. Add question type = Text/Graphic 3. Choose Type = Graphic 4. Click Choose a Graphic 5. Upload a jpg (900x168 px) 6. Select the newly uploaded jpg. (The graphic displays properly in survey edit mode.) 7. Click Preview Expected result The survey previews and the graphic is displayed Actual result The survey previews, but the graphic does not display. There's a "broken image" icon and the image file name instead of the actual image. In order to test permissions on the graphic itself, I grabbed the direct link to the file and opened it in an Incognito window. I am able to view the image. Any ideas on what's up?

For a research project, I want to run a diary-study that asks the participant a few questions in the morning and a few (other) questions in the evening, daily, for a Duration of 2-3 weeks. Also the responses from the morning should be shown again in the evening. I am now wondering whether this is possible to achieve with Qualtrics. These are my requirements: * Morning and evening: different questions * Responses from morning & day before in evening-questionnaire * Send out email reminders each morning and evening * Works if not all participants start at the same time! I found out that I could use Panels (using subject IDs) to create a diary study: https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/contacts/contact-list-overview/ Also that it's possible to send out emails at specific times. However, I am not sure how to split the questionnaire to have different questions in the morning Than the evening. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

Hi there, I am creating a question with a very long drop down list. Is it possible to have an autofill option? I.e the user starts typing the answer and it reduces the options?

Hi all, I have a side by side question with two question columns. Ultimately, I want one of the columns to be a single answer multiple choice, but I want respondents to be able to deselect answers if they change their mind about answering it. I know that with a normal multiple choice question, I can make it multiple answer and then make all answers exclusive. That way they can deselect all options, rather than just switching between answer options. However, there doesn't seem to be this option within the side by side format. Am I missing something? Thanks!

I'm interested in learning more about the 2 way email feature so that unlicensed employees can respond to an email sent out through a ticket and their response is automatically logged in Qualtrics.

I have a dashboard with sensitive data and want my user to only be able to see what pertains to them (and not other managers). However, I also have several widgets set up to show the sample vs. population profile, which everyone is allowed to see. These are on different pages. Is there a way to set the permissions so a single user can see 'all rollup' data on one page, but only their data on a different page? Thanks!

Has anyone else had trouble opening attachments to messages sent within Qualtrics Community. I am currently speaking with another member through message so we don't clog up the forum, I can see that they attached files but the system won't let me click on them to open the files. Any tips on getting attachments to be clickable are greatly appreciated!

In my Survey I want to have the name of the survey into an embedded data field. I know this can be done for the SurveyID, but what string do I need to have the SurveyName into an embedded data field?

Hi all, I am trying to select default answers based on embedded data. The problem I have is two-fold: First, and most importantly: I cannot figure out how to select different values for several different drop-down options in the same Matrix Table. I found the following online, which lets me select the SAME answer on all dropdowns in the same question (in this example, the second from the bottom): if($('QID17')) {$$('#QID17 select').each(function(s){ s.value = (s[s.length-2].value); }) } But how do I adapt this to select different answers for the different drop-downs? Second, my current JavaScript is long, using "IF embeddeddataX = 1 THEN set answer to 1, IF embeddeddataX = 2 THEN set answer to 2, ..." I am looking for a more elegant way to use the numeric value from embedded data to set the answer choice. Any help is appreciated!

Hi, We have a longitudinal study that we are attempting to build in Qualtrics. We want to display data collected in the baseline visit in subsequent follow-ups. I've been following the instructions outlined by AlexB in the link below: https://qualtrics.com/community/discussion/comment/385/#Comment_385 I currently have two projects in my Qualtrics account, one is in the active status and the other is in the new status: ! However, when I go to create my contact list and import contacts from a survey, it says I have no surveys to import from: ! Does anyone know why I might not be able to select either of my projects to create a contact list from? Thanks!

I've searched for quite some time but haven't found an answer to this: how the heck do I get Stats iQ? I tried a demo of Statwing a few years back and felt it could be useful. Then Qualtrics acquired it and it disappeared. Now it seems to be available, but for the life of me, I can't see how I can acquire it. I have a free Qualtrics account, and I'm not really interested in upgrading it. If Qualtrics doesn't want to promote or sell this product, they are doing a great job at it.

Hello. I created a new role for a participant to be able to view 3 companies and 2 departments within one of those companies. When I test login to their dashboard and filter I am only able to view one company with the departments. Is there a way to refresh the setting? I've set it up the exact way other roles are and those work. Thanks in advance!

I know that I can set the value of an embedded variable via Javascript like this: Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.setEmbeddedData("myvariable","newvalue") and the current loop number within a Loop & Merge can be access in the survey with: ${lm://CurrentLoopNumber} Is it possible to reset the loop count with Javascript?

Hi everyone I'm a new Qualtrics user looking for some very specific help! I have a transaction NPS methodology in our business and there are 14 surveys triggered based on specific events or interactions - these are all triggered via workflow rules in Salesforce which link to actions (setup on the action tab of the relevant survey). I cannot find a way to be able to report on or create a dashboard to show the response rates either per survey or overall. The distribution reporting in dashboards appears to only be based on distributions set up from the distributions tab on the surveys. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks James

Can anyone assist with making something like this so a supervisor can input the blank fields

I'm trying to remove the labels from a slider in a survey question (i.e. the numbers on top of each gridline). I've gone to "Inspect" on Google Chrome to see the relevant CSS snippet and I keep getting "jQuery('#QID29') > div.Inner.BorderColor.HSLIDER > div > fieldset > div > div > div.labels-container > ul.labels" as the selector. But I can't seem to make the numbers disappear (I've tried making the font white, since that's the background for my survey, making the visibility be hidden, setting the font size equal to 0, etc., and nothing seems to work). I may be well off so if anyone knows just a simple way of removing the labels that'd be great. Thanks!

I'm using the API to create custom surveys, distributions and reports. I can currently allocate messages and contact lists to a folder in their respective libraries, but I can't see how to do the same on the projects page. Does anyone know of a way to do this? TIA.

I'm using test results in a report to help check logic and am finding that the data just ignores skip logic ?!? 0_o Making using test responses relatively worthless. Is this a qualtrics quirk or is there something I'm missing on my end?

I hope I'm able to ask this question in a way that makes sense! For our account, Vocalize was just recently integrated into the core platform. Not sure whether others ran into this issue, but this created lots of "messy-ness" with the organization of my projects in their various folders and in particular with where dashboards show up in the overall organization. My main question, though, is that some of my dashboards don't show up at all in the core platform. For example, if I look in the "all projects" view and sort to put dashboards at the top of the list, not all dashboards are listed. But if I click on any dashboard (taking me into Vocalize mode) and then look at the dropdown list of all projects, the missing projects show up there. So I can get to all dashboards, but there is an extra step for getting to some of the dashboards that I want to work on (or look at). I would love to figure out how to get these missing dashboards to show up in my overall project organization folders. T

I currently have 192 different quotas that are being set by an embedded data field from the contact list (through an authenticator). Once a specific quota is met, I need the survey not to record any responses from anyone else entering the survey with the associated embedded data. Example: Quota “Facility 1” is set so the count is incremented when someone with the embedded data field “Quota Group” = “Facility 1” enters the survey and completes it. After the quota is met, anyone else from “Facility 1” who enters the survey will not have their information collected but can’t know that – i.e., they fill out the survey and don't experience anything different than someone whose response is collected. Right now I am setting up 192 2-part display logic statements in the survey flow that says when Facility 1 quota is met and embedded data “Quota Group” = “Facility 1”, don’t record a response. Is there a more efficient way to handle this so the system is not slow to respond?

I created a new bucket variable based off of a current variable. However, I'd like to "unbucket" this variable now and I'm not sure which steps to take? Also, if Integrations isn't the right place for StatWing questions, please let me know where to place them. Thanks!

Hi All, I am using a scoring system for my survey and it works fine for me. Now i will like to show cross tabs / tables for the score across data cuts provided by respondents through a form type question asked within the survey where respondents are providing there inputs for demographics like Country region. Is there a way to either create a cross tab or a "Breakout By" in my report on Scores? Regards, Samarth
