I’m trying to understand when exactly to use an Embedded Data field. Can someone explain with a simple example?

I want to show a question only if someone selects 2 options out of 5. What’s the easiest way to do this?

Does display logic make surveys slower or is it fine to add multiple conditions?

I’ve always used a custom “From” address for my distributions, but recently I can’t send any unless I use the predefined Qualtrics address (noreply@qemailserver.com).If I try with my custom address, I get an error and the distribution won’t launch.Has anyone else experienced this? Could it be a system bug? It’s been happening for several weeks now.Thanks in advance!

Hello,I am trying to set a time limit of 30 minutes to complete my survey. In the survey options, 30 minutes is not an option for How much time should pass before they’re considered incomplete? I would essentially like for the survey to time out 30 minutes after starting the survey.A solution or any guidance for this would be much appreciated! Hi everyone,I have a client who wants to “blacklist” certain email addresses and plans to send us a CSV of these emails on a regular basis. As far as I know, Qualtrics doesn’t offer an actual blacklisting feature.This sounds opting these contacts in advance out of the Directory, but I’m not sure what the best approach is.Has anyone implemented a workaround for this?Any guidance would be appreciated. Hi, we have sent an email from SF Marketing cloud to a sample, and then a survey from Qualtrics to the same sample.As a result the number of hard bounces is different in both systems.Has anyone had same issues and looked into them? Qualtrics reports is not saving my edits. The platform indicates that changes are saved; however, when I log out and log back in, the changes were not saved.Any ideas or suggestions?Thanks!Chipper

We are using AI to code our open ended questions. So we are exporting the data coding it. But we can’t seem to import the coded data back in. Is there a way to do this?

Hi Folks, Is there a way to extract numbers from a embedded data field and store it as a separate embedded data in the survey flow?

Is it possible to split an embedded data field into 2 fields? I currently combine multiple text entry fields (due to branching logic) into an embedded data field that is a respondent’s full name, named “Research Panel Contact Name”. At this point, I don’t want to edit the survey to create a new question within the survey. This embedded data is set within the survey flow.I’d like to be able to parse the embedded data field at the first space in the text so that I have a first name and a last name field. Is there an easy custom code to do this? Thanks,Todd

The document on the right is the working document that I need to make into a Qualtrics survey. I would like "All under the supervision..." to show up as a line, like a statement, but I do not want the scale points to show on that line. Is there a way to go about this within a single matrix table? I can always just break it out into its own question but ideally I would keep it within single matrix table question.

Hi there. Not sure if I selected the correct category but here is my question. Has anyone used Qualtrics to create a survey/form for the use of tracking the loaning of equipment. We are looking for an easy to use system of checking out equipment (i.e. Swivl camera, etc) and also checking those same items back in. We like the idea of using Qualtrics due to some of the of the features like the ticketing system, and email reminder actions that we could most likely implement with the tracking of items and their retrieval from those we loan items to.

My client is looking to change the date format that is set by default when we download or set up automation of response export files from the data and analysis tab? I am unable to locate where we can make this change. Some help will be highly appreciated.

I need to build a workflow that sends three reminder emails based on a respondent’s survey completion progress. The reminders should only be sent if the respondent is still incomplete at the time the reminder is due, not at the time the workflow is triggered. Here is the exact logic I want to implement:When a respondent starts the survey and a response is recorded, the workflow should wait 48 hours. After 48 hours, the system should check the respondent’s current survey progress. If progress is still <100%, send Reminder Email 1. If the response has reached 100%, do nothing and stop the workflow for that respondent. Then wait 7 days after Reminder Email 1. After 7 days, the workflow should check progress again. If progress is still <100%, send Reminder Email 2. Otherwise stop

I am having a usecase for which I need to tigger emails for incomplete response, but the condition is workflow should trigger after 48 hours of response recorded. Is there any way to do it ?

Hello! I am the Qualtrics Brand Administrator at a university. Due to budget constraints, our university has decided not to renew the Qualtrics license. Our license will expire on January 2, 2026. Some of our users have surveys that will run until December 31, 2025.January 1, 2026 is a public holiday, and many people will also be on leave on January 2, so they may not be able to log in and export data in time. For this reason, I contacted the Qualtrics Support Team to inquire whether our users would still have a specific period after the expiration date to export data. I was told that there would be a 45-day period after the expiration date during which users could log in and retrieve their data. However, when I confirmed this with our Account Director today, I was informed that after the expiration date, users would no longer be able to log in or retrieve data, and we were asked to ensure that our users back up their data before the expiration date.These two completel
