Add editable fields to reference block questions

Hello!We are setting up our library questions and want to create reference blocks for common questions that can be updated universally.For questions such as CSAT we would like to customise parts of the question to be relevant to the channel/interaction.I see this can be done in the “certified” library questions. Attached a screenshot.Does anybody know if and how to do this?

Extract URL content for survey flow

I have a question block where I have a url in an iframe that randomly loads page content. That page content is reflected in the url generated upon page load. I need to extract two values from the url and use those values to determine which question I should show to my participants. How would I go about doing this? Or what resources could I use to tackle this problem?

trigger to send reminder email five days after an even

Hi, I have an event planning survey that captures and email and the event date as embedded data.  I would like to use that data to trigger and send an email five days after the embedded date to remind them to complete a post-event survey.  Not sure how to calculate and trigger the five days.

Page break, how to NOT have a page break after a display logic question that has choice display logic

I’m wanting to NOT have an automated page break but I cannot seem to remove it since the question with the display logic has display logic based off choices.  Looking for some out of the box solutions here.

Axis color vs. Custom Bar color

I’m pretty new to XM Discover. I did obtain the certification but it’s been many months since I’ve been in the tool since then. I’m currently creating a bar chart and have applied a custom color to the bars in the chart -- however, when the bar color applies, it also applies to the Axis labels. Considering the custom color needs to be yellow - I’d prefer to have the Axis labels in black, but cannot find a means to update the axis labels separately from the bar color. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Binary filter

I would like to add a filter to the dashboard with which I can filter only when there is an open comment. I tried adding a text set field in data mapper and then an advanced filter in dashboard but it doesn't seem to work.Any suggestions?thanks

Get selected answers not selected answers

Hello, I’m new at Qualtrics. I have 3 questions. for the list of Q24(None always must be at list), I want to get answers which is selected in Q11 but not selected in Q23. Is there any way to do that except add display logic for each of the options.

Confusing quotas for emails

Hi, I am stuck between a rock and a hard place.After creating an email I have sent bunch of test emails to see if my custom fields are working. Account still lists 26/200 allowed outgoing emails - this is enough for me. But when I try to send the survey to 168 contacts, I get an error saying that I am over my weekly quota. This does not make sense, since I still should have 174 emails left.There is no other place where can I report this or ask for help. If my quota is lower, how to determine how much is it actually if the account reports 26/200?Thank you for your help.

Text entry size option not working

display a custom form field count based off display logic/loop and merge

In my survey I have a question asking how many dinner guests attending. (currently set up as a slider, max option is 10)The next question I need to be a form field asking for each guests name and email.So if my 1st question is answered saying 5 dinner guests I would then like the next question to display exactly 5 name spaces and 5 emails on the form field. Ideally I would like to set the form field up like a matrix table style where each row would represent a guest and would A would be name and column B would be email (currently I have it set up as a side by side with with 10 statements).I have display logic set just for #s 1-3, but it’s not working as I would expect (see screenshots) preview mode: Display logic:  Questions involved:

Standard deviation in CX Dashboard and Results widgets

I'm suprised to find that there is no Statistics widget in de CX Dashboard of the Results page. I simply can't find the Statistcs Table, and there seems to be no way to create a Custom Metric of Formula. At least, I haven't been able to.There is a Support page dor it (Statistics Table (Results) (qualtrics.com)) and there are many Community posts on the topic (Statistics table in the new Results Dashboard? | XM Community (qualtrics.com)). I mailed support, but did not get an answer.I know that there is an option in Reports, but I can hardly make screenshort and put those in my dashboards...How to find and display the Standard Deviation for a series of likert-scale questions in Dashboard and Results?

Displaying choice IDs/codes

Hi everyone!Maybe this question has already been posted somewhere but I could not find it in our community …I need to know the ID/code of a single choice. I know when I click on “Tools” and “Show internal IDs” I can see the internal question ID which is valid for the whole question. But how can I see the internal IDs/underlying code numbers for the choices?Example:I would suppose that Denmark is Code 4, but actually (I know that from data download) it is 18 (because I added it later than the other countries). So how could I display this information?:) h.

JavaScript Embedded Data Inconsistencies

Hi all, I created a question using JavaScript to capture three values and the running total per row (each row will be a county the user selects in a previous question). The JavaScript is set to save the embedded data as {County} - the question name - Brief/Intermediate/Extended/Total. The JavaScript is correctly saving all four entries for each individual response in the Data & Analysis tab. However, when I export the results, there are four columns for each county that are the same value and titled {County} - the question name - Total. The export isn’t saving the Brief, Intermediate, and Extended values the user entered and is overwriting those to save the Total values four times instead of once.    Why are the two sets of embedded data different? And how do I get the data export embedded data to be the same as the embedded data in the individual response?

I was trying to setup a branch if this question = empty but it is not an option.  So how do you create embedded data if they did not answer the question?  I have embedded data figured out if they answer the question.

Embedded data automatically answering survey response

I am updating an existing survey to start passing embedded data from a url to automatically answer a pre-existing question. For example, if the url parameter is ?member=yes, then it would answer the yes/no question “Are you a member?” with a yes response. AND I would also like that if the url answers that question, it would not be displayed.  So far, I have my display logic set so that the “are you a member” question does not appear if the embedded data is present, but do not know how to automatically answer the question with that url parameter. Or, if I can’t automatically answer the question, how to combine the answers from the embedded data to the survey responses.

Deactivate single personalized survey links

We need a way to invalidate specific survey links, such as when a customer has been invited by mistake. In such cases, it is essential that the customer cannot use the survey link, as this could lead to reporting inaccuracies caused by data that should not have been collected in the first place.It is important to note that we do not want to deactivate the entire survey project or stop the response collection altogether. Instead, we only want to deactivate individual links.Currently, we manage this issue using one of the following manual methods: Waiting for Expiration: We wait until the survey link naturally expires, then manually check whether a response has been submitted by the relevant customer. Displaying a bar chart of individual numeric values

Hello, I have a field of numeric values that I would like to display in vertical bar chart form. I’ve found that only after I map the data as a text or number set am I able to do this. That would be fine, but neither one consistently orders the values on the x-axis numerically low to high. It seems to be a text-based ordering either way. I’ve tried using both label and value as display options for the x-axis.I could custome order the values numerically, but was hoping there was a simpler and more robust way of achieving that. I’m also trying to set it up as data continues to come in, so new values need to be worked into the ordering appropriately.I appreciate anyone’s insights on this!Thanks, Neil

Showing Indivisual Results after click submit.

We are creating scoring in the Qualtrics Survey. There are three categories for students to respond to. There are five questions for each category.How do I  let students know their scoring results after they click submit?I am hoping to have the following message at the end of the survey:Thank you for your submission. Providing scoring at the end of a survey

For the scoring we need a score out of 4 to appear in our debrief. Our responses are recorded on a slider question type within a loop and merge. They answer this question for four trials In target present trials (Condition Type 1), there are six options - all different variables. The decision is correct (gets a score of 1) if the maximum response out of six = the response to the target. Any other decision gets 0.  In type 1 conditions, they are correct if the target gets a rating of 51 and above. Regardless of what others get.In target 2 requirements, they are incorrect if the innocent suspect gets a score of more than 51. JS-controlled Next button not showing up anymore

I have an active survey and today there are suddenly people reporting a new issue. There’s a page where they watch a tv episode, and when the episode is over the Continue button appears so they can continue to the post-video questions (buttons shows when video is actually finished playing, or if they cheat and drag vimeo scrubber to end and wait for the full time to elapse). Today, the last two people to take the survey have not been shown the continue button and they’re stuck. One is on Chrome, one is on Safari, both are on Mac. A lot of my participants have been on Mac (including me) and this hasn’t happened before. on the responses in progress data, it shows the last question answered as the last question on the page before the tv episode. When the Safari person emailed me I was sure it was probably a browser extension conflict, but then in the data I saw another person stuck on the same question in Chrome, so an extension seems less probable? The video question has custom js for th

Adding an additional lookup field in Data and Analysis for reporting

We have a new Sub Division tag for our customers that we also want to use in Qualtrics which is at account number level (account number is held in Qualtrics). What is the best way for me to get the sub division into Qualtrics against the historic records and also to be attached to new records. The records are uploaded via Salesforce workflow integration but Salesforce doesn’t hold this “sub division” so the lookup would be against another data set at account number level once uploaded into Qualtrics via the workflow.I assume this would be done in the data and analysis element of the campaign but it would also need to be a field visible in the Dashboards for filtering etc.

How to create text on a slider bar tooltip?

I have created a survey where respondents use a slider for 45 different statements to provide their choice. The tooltip on the slider are the numerical values. (1,2,3,4,5). I would like the tooltip to show the text (disagree, somewhat disagree, neutral, somewhat agree, agree) instead of the values (1,2,3,4,5) so the respondents remember what the values are meant to be as they go through all items.Any advice on how to accomplish this would be very much appreciated.

Automate daily excel (or CSV) export to email

Has anyone figured out a method to setup a process to automatically export the raw data in Excel (or CSV) and send to a specified email address on a daily or weekly basis. I know you can do this if the data is sent to an sftp, but my organization doesn’t allow for that option. I’ve searched through previous questions and can’t find a good solution. I do not want a report or a topline. I’m looking for the raw data file that you can export under the Data & Analysis tab manually.
