We have a department that has started using Qualtrics for their student evaluations. Because they've just started and were doing it manually, they did a survey for each course. The survey is the same, but with a different course name. Is there a way to create a report template that can be applied to surveys with the same questions? He has 27 surveys (again, all the same questions) and it sure would save some time to be able to use a template to create the report as he needs to see it across the surveys.

I just updated the text in my email distribution. However, when I send myself the preview email, its still sending the wrong text. Any ideas as to why this may be the case?

I've set a default 'From Address' for all of our institution's surveys for all users. This default 'From Address' goes to an inbox that our department uses only for a shared team calendar, and the 'From Address' can be changed to whatever our users decide. Every once in a while, we have issues with surveys not being sent, and after digging into it, I'm typically advised to get an IP address range whitelisted. So, after an email to our IT staff, it's done and problem solved, but does anyone have any insight as to why this step is needed, and better yet, is there a prescribed schedule to have this done? Once a year? Every other Month? Should I ask for my IT team to check on this prior to every large survey project? Is the 'From Address' and the IP address range connected - does the change in 'From Address' trigger the need for the IP address range to be whitelisted?

I am working on a report now which includes questions employing the Hot Spot question type and am stymied on the best way to visually and intuitively display the data in the report. Unlike the Heat Map question, there is no integration of the graphic image into the output, and I am not sure what the best practices are for this question type reporting. What have you all done with the data generated from this question type to show the results in a report? Can someone please share an example of how they have presented this?

I am being informed by our IT guys that the zone code from Qualtrics (site intercept) is taking 2 seconds to load on our China website. We have placed the code at the very end of the page load. But 2 seconds is quote a lot. Any one have experience with Qualtrics Site intercepts in China? or have any idea/direction for how to optimize the page load/ load time for qualtrics code? Would be HIGHLY appreicated. Thanks!

I'm building a side-by-side question with a drop-down list question on the left and open ended text on the right. I can't seem to get the option for setting up a display logic for the drop-down list items. In fact, I have trouble reliably getting options for the items in general - sometimes I can only get the Rich Content Editor choice, sometimes the Exclude From Analysis choice, but never the full menu one usually gets when selecting a response option. The instability coupled with the fact that item display logic can be applied to matrix drop-down lists hints at a bug - anyone know what's up? ! or !

Hi! I have a SI which has 15% sample rate. But for my german speaking visitors, I'd like to have 30% sample rate. I know Qualtrics captures browser language via Q_language. Does that mean my only option is to copy the SI and make a different sample rate but where this as additionally requirement that Q_language is = DE and the original one goes != DE? And does Q_language actually gets captured upon the refresh of the page or when the feedback/response is given? This above solution would require that the Qualtrics code already nows the Q_language to then decide if it should show by the 15% or 30% rule. Thanks

Hi All, Does anyone have any experience with coding verbatim responses (what Qualtrics calls Topics in Text Analysis/TextiQ) and then exporting these topics. It seems to export all the topics for each individual respondent into one field (or one cell in Excel). To actually make analysis easier, what you really need is a separate column for each code (ideally with a 1 or 0 - but even just the text in separate columns would help). For example, if I have 3 Topics: Safety Technology Benefits Environmental Benefits If these are all coded for a response by one respondent, what you get is: Safety, Technology Benefits, Environmental Benefits in one cell in Excel. You can use the Text to Columns function in Excel, which will separate these into separate columns... but the problem is if you have another respondent whose response was coded to: Safety, Environmental Benefits Then you will have a column which has Safety for each respondent, but the next column will have Technology Benefit

Hello, I would love to get some ideas on how to use Qualtrics to build a survey where the respondents answers are scored in the background without the respondent knowing about it. Kind of like a personality test or a survey to group people in bands depending on how their cumulative score was at the the end of the survey. I want some questions to be scored and some question to be not scored. Many thanks

I have an "Other" option where I allow text entry, but when I tried to map my test responses over to Vocalize, I wasn't able to find a way to select the text entry box in the data mapping. Is there any way to get that data into my dashboard?
