Question label character limit

I am adding question labels to my survey questions. The character limit for question labels should be 20,000. However, it won’t let me add more than a few words! I’m far from 20,000 characters.  I just added numbers to explain what I mean. It won’t let me type more, it stops typing. Not sure why.

Randomized Display of Text A or Text B with Identical Questions

Hello I have the following problem, I have 2 different texts and among them 2 identical questions. I want to randomly display text A or text B to the participants of the questionnaire (50% of the respondents text A and 50% of the respondents text B). The 2 questions below should be identical. Is this somehow possible ? The respective text and the 2 questions should be displayed on one page in the survey.

Creating Embedded Data calculations for Multi-Select Question

Is it possible to create an embedded data or “calculated column” that summarizes a multi-select question? For example:Here is a multi-select question’s recoded values:When you select Access/View (5) and Change (2), it will show in the export data “5,2”Is there a way to create an embedded data that will add all of them? I am a novice on JS, and was trying to look for straight forward calculations.Appreciate the help!

Custom ending not showing with branch logic

I have got a number of consent questions if any of them is answered “no” I need to end the survey with a different message to the any other end point.  My custom ending is being overridden by the default ending.  I have tried to read information here and have already checked that the message and the survey are both in the same language setting.  Can you give suggestions at all?

Resend opened/incomplete tickets to original recipient + new recipients

We have a bunch of open tickets that we are wanting to “double down” and address. The request that was given to me was to resend the ticket email notification to the ticket assignee and also include additional people (their senior leaders) on that ticket email. I know that I can reassign tickets and that will trigger an email to be sent again, but it’s automated and to the best of my knowledge I cannot CC others that route. Is there a way to mass resend ticket emails and include additional people on those emails?

Is it possible to distribute one engagement survey with both Anon & Personal Links

Engagement Survey Distribution… can we use both an Anonymous link with an SSO Authenticator and Personal Links in the same survey?  We have a subset of participants who are not in Active Directory and would prefer to not ask the respondent to provide any demographic info in the survey to tie them to their metadata.  Hence the need for the personal link.

End of message in multiple langage

Hi all :)I have a multi countries survey and I would like to adapt the langage of the end of survey and some other messages : survey already answered or unavailable.I can see I can custom the message but I am wondering how it can be adapted in the right langage as I have only 1 project.Thanks !

Product Idea - Allow easy resizing of the text box on the Qualtrics log in page

Hi, I’m posting a product idea for the Qualtrics login page.   I’d love to see an easy way to resize the window that contains our log in text that we want users to read, or at least notice, before logging in. The window is so far at the bottom of the Qualtrics login page that users don't even see it. I've added CSS code (<div style=”max-height: 35% !important;”></div>) to the page to try to resize but Qualtrics will not apply the changes.The code for resizing is completely removed from the window.  If there could be some way for the brand admin to custom size that window from the Organization Settings window, that would be awesome.

NPS survey- cross crountries

Hi everyone,Just discovering Qualtrics and I will be monitoring my NPS transactionnal survey on the platform.As I have few countries (6), the NPS survey will be delivered to the local langage and potentially adapted in case of cultural changes according to the country.So I would like to know what is the best way when creating project to manage a multi-country study ? Do I have to create 1 project per country ? I will need an overall NPS all country covered during the analyse so I guess this step is crucial.Thank you very much !Coraline

Why are new projects not created in the opened folder location by default? (and other UI stuff)

As someone with 300+ surveys, a background in UX, and teaching Qualtrics to researchers and students, I have a two gripes related to the ‘new’ interface. I was hoping they would get ironed out over time, but no luck so far. I'm not sure where else to post them, so I hope this is the right place..In the Projects view, after navigating to a certain folder and ‘create project’, the new project is not created by default in the opened folder. Instead the main folder is the default. This is very counter intuitive and goes against prior experience with pretty much any other folder based navigator. It's especially misleading because the button itself is located in the same section as the breadcrumb trail. It also takes way too many clicks all in different locations, to simply start a new project from scratch, which is what 99% of the surveys in academic research requires. Right now it is 1) click on ‘create project’ button in the top right. 2) click on the Survey box in the top left. 3) click

Language Translation Progressed Stalled

I’ve successfully translated a mock survey to test out the functionality of this feature, however, when I attempted to add translations to my real survey project they stall out at anywhere from 0 to 1 to 5 % progress.  Any suggestions?

Copying multiple blocks in a survey at once

Please add functionality such that users can copy multiple blocks at once. I tried to follow the instructions to “innovate” here [https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/getting-started/submitting-a-product-idea/] but the tab did not seem to exist.

Feature Request - Find and Delete survey Preview Responses Globally

We should have a search feature in Qualtrics Surveys that allows you to find all survey responses that came in via survey preview links, so that they can be deleted all at once. It’s incredibly tedious to go through each survey and look for survey responses that came through the preview link, especially since the Data and Results tab is highly prone to lag when loading or deleting results. It would save a lot of time and energy to be able to look up all the preview link responses across all/multiple surveys at once to remove them in one fell swoop.Thanks!

Survey Platform Feature Enhancements

Two ideas I wanted to share:Expand menu item boxes in workflow configuration settings. Right now the popup windows are extremely small and cannot be resized, which makes it difficult to do anything.  Add keyboard button functionality to remove items from the Reports page. Right now, if I want to remove an item from a report, I have to select it, then scroll down on the right (scrolling also doesn’t work well because it isn’t sure whether to scroll the right-hand menu or to scroll the entire page), then click Remove. I should be able to click on the Report item and hit ‘delete’ on my keyboard to remove it. I often have to remove hundreds of items from reports due to the default settings, so this would save me an enormous amount of time.  Thank you! Please move this post if this is not posted to the correct forum section, I was unable to find a specific product enhancements section.

Shared View of Projects throwing me for a loop

I spent years using Qualtrics before I realized it, but the default view of my projects only shows those “shared with me”, which is not a great experience. Whenever I created a project and went straight back to my project view to look for it, it was always missing. I thought I had the worst memory ever or I was cursed! Turns out, a project I created can’t be shared with myself, so my projects never showed up in my default project view.I strongly recommend Qualtrics change the default view from just those that are shared with me to one with all projects and programs. This would lead to less disorientation when someonme creates a project and then goes back into Qualtrics the next week to access it. It would help new Qualtrics users get their bearings instead of feeling totally lost.Change the default view of projects from this (“Where’s my ‘Aspen Experience’ project I just created? I’m disoriented and losing track of what’s going on!”:To this (“I see the ‘Aspen Experience’ project I just

Feature request: ability to test surveys in preview mode for email distribution

In preview mode (e.g., selecting “send a preview email” for email distributions, the linked survey requires the user to log in using their Qualtrics account. While it’s easy to create a test list to send the final survey to testers, it would be clearer for this particular use case for a preview email to provide the same user experience as a participant accessing the survey through an email link.This ability is important for our use case because as a US federal agency, we need to be confident that the experience respondents have with our surveys leaves them completely confident that we are who we say we are. If there are any issues involving the transition from the email request to the survey, this can create serious authenticity concerns so testing is paramount.Additionally, it would be valuable to be able to add hyperlinks, if technically possible, to link to unique survey links rather than providing a long URL Long URLs with seemingly random parameters can also create uncertainty amo

Creating a New Workflow: Survey Submission to CSV File

Hi Team! I’m Hoa, HR Officer at DiGiCOR in Australia. I was wondering if there is a way to convert survey submission to a CSV File once someone finished submitting it. I came accross this need where I have this survey open and I need to send a CSV file automatically to my IT Admin team so that they can create access to all the users that have submitted my survey. There should be individual CSV file that will be sent to the IT admin every time one user submit the form, so that the IT Admin can set up access to them. However, our system has yet to support API calls.  I talked to one of the support team and they told me it could be a great product idea! Survey with Personal links need to update embedded data

I have a survey that is currently running.  I have a directory file that I used that had embedded data.  I have used it to create my personal links and used mail merge to send out these links to my members.  I am realizing that the embedded data in my file is wrong.  Is there a way to update the embedded information in this file without compromising the personal links?  I need to add the correct embedding data but not alter the personal links which have been sent off to my members.  thanks for any help you can give me,

How to Pipe in the highest value among 4 rating scales in a side-by-side question into an embedded field. Unable to connect Qualtrics with Android studio

Hello all, hope you’re doing great.I’ve been trying to connect Android Studio with Qualtrics according to Qualtrics API documentation (https://api.qualtrics.com/2330b91086280-getting-started-with-mobile-app-sdk-on-android), but it keeps showing up several errors once I try to construct the code. If I use the Android Studio version (4.1.3) that is used in the documentation it shows the following error “Could not determine the dependencies of task ':app:compileDebugJavaWithJavac'. > Failed to find Build Tools revision 33.0.3”. But when I try with Android Studio Flamingo (the latest version) it shows the following error: “Could not find com.qualtrics:digital:2.9.4. Required by: project :app”. Do you have any advice or troubleshooting guide for this situation?Thanks!

Music track playing twice

Please help! I am setting up a quiz in Qualtrics which needs to have music that plays automatically while an excerpt of text is being read for my PhD project. I have managed to get the music to play automatically however it always plays two tracks at the same time. Genetaing Dynamic Download File

I am fairly new to Qualtrics and dont know any Java yet, hence I would appreciate any help I can get regarding this problem. I have asked Quatrics to generate random ID's for each participant in my survey. In addition, at the end of the survey, I want each participant to be able to download a file that shows the unique ID assigned to him earlier.   Any ideas how I  may do this, or  alternate ways to achieve this objective? All suggestions are welcome.
