Hello, I've found information on how to embed hyperlinks/external URLs within survey items (e.g., through the rich content editor). However, I'm curious if hyperlinks/external URLs can also be embedded within response options under survey items.

We have been getting a lot of errors with surveys not loading when a respondent tries to open the link. I can't even get into my Qualtrics account unless I search for "Qualtrics Log in", if you just go to Qualtrics.com tab crashes or I get a securtity block that I can't get around. We also have an API set up to retrive data and that routinely crashes as well.Anyone else?? Any direction would be appreciated

I have a series of questions that have multiple point values depending on the answers selected and the order that they were selected in. Say for example I ask the multiple choice question "What color...?" twice and Red = 1, Blue = 1, and all other choices = 0, but if the participant answers the first question "Red" and the second question "Blue" they get an extra point. I'm thinking a solution to this might be setting embedded data for this such as "Score" = "3" IF $(QID1/SelectedChoices) = $(QID1/RedResponse) AND $(QID2/SelectedChoices) = $(QID2/BlueResponse)Would this format be valid? I'm not an expert in JavaScript so there may be better ways to write this. Open to all ideas!P.S. This isn't my survey so I can't change they format of the questions or how they're answered, only the scoring options.

Some pages have the Back and Next buttons. Some have only the Next Buttons. I want the Back buttons to appear on these pages, too. I want help on how to add the 'Back button' to every page of my survey.

I have created a custom field (e.g. course) as a concatenate value of several fields. I want to pass it in the json body of my webservice, but it is not available to pick as an embedded field.What am I missing?

This is probably a two-part question.Is creating a response summary before ending your survey possible?First way I'm doing it is creating a text graphic and adding piped texts for all the responses.The problem I'm encountering there is I don't see an option from the drop down of Survey Questions that will pipe the text inside the essay box responses, even the "Others" choice that have text entry I can't find in the piped text options.So now I'm thinking if there is a solution where it can just show it as a whole like the option in the end of survey.

I'm looking to pipe open-ended responses from a question earlier in the survey into a 12-question loop specifically about that thing. Ideally, we'd like to use the categories selected in another question (that are tied to each open-end) to randomize least fill into this particular loop. What logic should I use to make that happen? Hello!I'm creating a survey for my thesis and I need respondents to answer with ONE answer to a multiple choice question (like a Likert scale). But the last choice is "choose if the statement worries you" and I need to make that choice available too. I thought about the multiple choice variant but that wouldn't do the trick I'm afraid.(I'm assessing if the Ages and Stages' Social-Emotional (Second Edition) 12-months questionnaire is suitable for estimating the social-emotional development of Estonian toddlers.)

Hello, I am currently running a survey and have the need for multiple people (from the same group completing 1 return) to complete different parts of the survey. Is it possible to have a landing style from page that people can go directly to different sections of the survey and then come back to once the section has been completed?If the above is possible, are you able to programme a "section completed" notification on the landing page? eg section A - completed Section B - OutstandingRegardsOllie

Hello, I would like to create a simple way to see how long participants took to complete each block of questions.Currently, I have timing questions set up for each page, but have export all of the data and spend ages playing with it in Excel to be able to get the summary I need. I have also tried to create reports, but there are a lots of page timings to add and edit to show the relevant data (I only care about the Page Submit timing).Ideally, I'd like a report that has the min, max, mean timing for each question, organised by block, and then a final total row for that block. Even just the final block totals would be helpful for now! Like this, but with many more questions!:The blocks

I am developing a survey that includes 15 questions. Each question has two different types (A and B). When presenting questions to participants using the randomizer, A and B need to be randomly assigned. However, a participant may only get one type of questions (For example, 15 A-type questions). Is there a way to randomize A and B with a 50:50 ratio? Or is it possible to provide an A-type question at least 6 times or higher for a participant within one set of 15 questions?

Hi everyone,I am having a very strange issue with the Link Expiration function for surveys. I am sending out surveys through text using the "personal links", but for some reason the personal links expire earlier on Android phones than scheduled.For example, if I sent out a survey that expires at 5pm. When the iPhone phone opens the survey at 4:50pm, they are still able to open the survey. But when the Android phone opens the survey at 4:50pm, it says the link has already expired. I know they are just opening up a link, so I am confused as to how the operating system is making a difference. Maybe in some way it handles time or time zones? I have tested this on multiple Androids and iPhones, and consistently the Android phones are the ones have this issue. Has anyone else had this issue? And would anyone have any suggestions for solutions? Thanks so much! 

Hi,I got to create a multi lingual survey, we would like to give language selection option to the users. Is there anyway I can change the text on Submit button based on language selected by the user? Currently it is showing as 'Submit' - we want to display in Chinese language when user choose to take survey in Chinese language and so on. Hi, I have a rank order question (below).When I export this, the dataset only shows values for options that were physically clicked and dragged. It does not show the final placement of options.For example, if the respondent only dragged 'Mouse traps' down to rank 2, the exported data set would not display 'Mouse baits' as rank 1. It would only display 'Mouse traps' as rank 2.I could manually update all the final rankings of options, but when you have a survey with thousands of responses that becomes tedious.Any ideas? Can I change export settings? Do I need to recode values or something in the question before exporting?

Hello I have a form field question with four open text fields. When I am in Qualtrics edit/creation mode I can increase the length and width. However it does not appear to change when you actually go into the survey after saving and publishing. I have attached two screen shots to show. I need to increase the length/width of the "application and environmental sections" so they are larger. I can not seem to figure out what the issue is. Appear to be larger during the edit.docx

I'm looking for a way to create what I call a "survey exposed". It would be ideally an excel file with all questions, all allowable answers, and all variable naming associated to the answers. The out of the box exports do not achieve this. Any insight? Have you found a solution to this?

I have an employee lifecycle survey and its participants come from the Global Directory with a metadata field called Hire Date. This is formatted as MM-DD-YYYY(e.g. 08-23-2022)How can I create an embedded data field in the survey flow in my survey that calculates the difference in the number of days between today (the day that the employee takes the survey) and their hire date?How would that math operation be written?Thanks so much! :)

I noticed that we don't have a question type that will allow participants to upload files in the Lifecycle project.For our other form, the Survey project, has that option. But we needed to use the global directory as our participant list and that project doesn't have access to that.Is there a workaround for this?If so, additional question here will be where will it be stored? Can we point to a sharepoint link or can the action be emailing to a specific mailbox?

Is there a way to export a single datapoint (ie. NPS) into an excel scorecard automatically. The excel lives on sharepoint which gets updated manually every month with the datapoint but, I'm investigating ways on how/if this can be automated.

I have heard a lot of talk and read many articles on moving Detractors to Promoters via closed loop follow up processes. However I have failed to see much if any at all mechanisms that SHOW how one is supposed to measure this. Is there an actual practical way to measure how many Detractors have moved to Promoters (individual tracked customer examples would be ideal) by utilizing the prescribed closing the loop f/u system? Utlizing the twice a year NPS survey is NOT a practical way to view customers journeys for reporting on a standard quarterly business calendar. Any suggestions, experiences? Thank you.
