Send Qualtrics Survey when Zendesk Ticket marked as solved

Hi all,I am new to qualtrics. We use Zendesk for our ticketing system. I have the survey created, now I need to find out how to send our survey when a customer's support ticket is marked as solved by our support staff in Zendesk. How would I go about this? I was looking through Qualtrics documentation and there were a variety of Zendesk options which left me a bit confused. Thanks!

Labels in side-by-side matrix

Hi everyone! Thank you so much for accepting me. I have a very difficult question so it seems, so contact support and our brand ambassador suggested I’ll pick your guys’ brains! So aim of my specific survey question: I want the respondents to score 200 items/statements on a 1-9 Likert scale. I have a label for the values 1, 5 and 9. I wanted to use a regular matrix, BUT I need the possibility to add a comment to every statement (something the respondent wants to add for example). So I made a side-by-side matrix, but there I cannot add labels to the values 1, 5 and 9. I can add the text right before the number, but then the columns of the different values are not the same width (which would mean a bias in the answers). Aim: to have 9 point Likert scale for every statement, with a label for 1, 5 and 9 and a possibility to leave a comment with every statement. So do you have any ideas? Is there a possibility to add comments section in a regular matrix? OR can I add another row above the s

Moving "Constant Sum" Labels to Left AND Translate

The title pretty much says it all. Set up conjoint analysis manually.

As a part of my research. I am doing two conjoint studies. An example of one is shown below. I have to do it manually to have control over the choices created. I used the multiple choice option Qualtrics. I made the table in the question section and the Option are the multiple choice options. My Question is: Is there anyway I can create this table in Qualtrics and have the select buttons inside the table? Currently these buttons are outside the question area as options of multiple choice, but I want to create it inside the table (so that a button “Purchase” would be inside the table) and when respondent clicks it, it records an answer. Any help would be appreciated! I think some JavaScript is needed but I am not sure how to do it. Thanks

Same project and same site, but new intercept nor working

Hi all I have an intercept issue would like some help! I have a Website & App Insights project that has multiple intercepts we set up for our site. There is a new responsive dialogue intercept I set up for the same site but different page, target logic has set to ‘site url contains career’ ,100% display rate and when mouse leaves the site. I’ve kept the condition as simple as possible for the testing, the preview worked find with all conditions passed. However, when i went to the site as regular user I just cannot see the pop up. I can see other intercepts working on the site, as the image below shown, button and pop-up for other pages are working fine. Since all intercepts share the same code, I assume the code is working as intended? So i am not sure which part went wrong, has anyone experienced this before?

Hello, Does anyone know how to calculate approximate age using the following side by side question design in the simple layout using Javascript? i.e., Assuming all respondents are born in the middle of the month. The question asks for the month and year respondents were born, but not the day/date they were born.

API call for emailing individuals not list on specific date

Hello All, I’m using an API call to automate an email reminder for a second survey link on the date provided by each respondent in the first measure of a longitudinal survey. This is working, but it is sending a reminder email to the whole contact list every time a new respondent triggers the workflow. I only want it to send the email to the one participant who specifies that date, on that date. So each respondent only receives one reminder email on the date they previously specified in the first measure (as it is, people would end up with thousands of reminders). I hope that makes sense. It can be an anonymous link that goes out because there is an authenticator on the second measure, which seems to be working fine (i.e. the embedded data from measure one is piping through to measure two correctly for specific individuals). But the anonymous link needs to go to the specific participant on their specific date, not to every contact on the list on each date. I read a post suggesting maki

Replace radio button with a clickable purchase / no purchase button

Dear All, As a part of my research, I have a conjoint question as shown below: In place of radio button (the circle) I want a button saying “purchase” and for the last option “I prefer not to purchase any option within this collection.” I want a button saying “no purchase”. I do not want the radio button to show up at all. How can I make that happen ? An example of what is I am trying to achieve is: Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Countdown timer appears several times

I have successfully implemented a countdown timer incl. auto-advancing on the block level thanks to this support: https://qualtrics.com/community/discussion/comment/20771#Comment_20771 However, I recognized that a new timer appears (which indicates more time left) when the respondent uses the back button or has to correct his entry after an error message: ! Is there a way to fix that problem? I thank you so much in advance.

Error "Could not find a declaration file for module 'react-native-qualtrics'" starting on 2.6.0

Hey, I just update ‘react-native-qualtrics’ from 2.5.0 to 2.8.0 and starting to get the error: Could not find a declaration file for module 'react-native-qualtrics'. 'PATH_MASKED/node_modules/react-native-qualtrics/lib/commonjs/index.js' implicitly has an 'any' type. Try `npm i --save-dev @types/react-native-qualtrics` if it exists or add a new declaration (.d.ts) file containing `declare module 'react-native-qualtrics';` After some digging, it started in 2.6.0 since the folder structure under typescript has changed. With 2.5.0 in our node_module, react-native-qualtrics was having: typescript/ index.d.ts index.d.ts.map NativeRNQ...csDigital.d.ts NativeRNQ...ital.d.ts.map But starting from 2.6.0 , I see typescript/ lib/ scripts/ src/ index.d.ts index.d.ts.map NativeRNQ...csDigital.d.ts NativeRNQ...ital.d.ts.map Can this be fixed please?

How to ask "Fill in the blanks in a paragraph" type questions

Hi there. I am using Qualtrics to give language exams at a university and I would like to write "fill in the blanks in a paragraph" type questions. Because Qualtrics does not have the fill in the blank question type, I prepared one as an html form like the one below. And I prepared 8 text entry type questions and hid them through display logic. My question is: Is there a way to link each of these blanks with one of the hidden questions, thus when a student fill in those blanks, the answers are entered to hidden questions automatically and I can collect student answers in Data&Analysis tab? Or is there a way to store what is written in the blanks as embedded data? Thanks in advance.

Dear all, I need some help! I tried some custom coding in JavaScript but it is not working. :( The survey is structured as the following: PAGE 0 Welcome Page. Tooltips for question text and multiple choice answers

Does anyone know the simplest 'html view' code for hover and/or hyperlinked tooltips in Qualtrics question and multiple choice answers? I am also not sure if something needs to be in the survey's ‘Custom CSS’ box in Look and Feel > Style. For instance, I want when someone hovers over “Try this one out.” for this text to appear: “I am a tooltip that provides more details about the term you clicked on.” I read all the other tooltip posts on here, Youtube, and asked Qualtrics support and could not get an answer that worked. Issue sizing PNG in Text/Graphic question

I have a PNG that I inserted into a Text/Graphic question. No matter the size of the original PNG it always appears much smaller in the survey program. Is there a way to make the image larger in the page? I currently have the JS below to create a box around the image. jQuery("#"+this.questionId).css({"padding": "15px", "border-radius": "8px", "border": "2px solid #007AC0" }); For some reason there is more white space at the bottom.

Errors in react-native-qualtrics under the new react-native architecture

Hey, we just upgraded to react-native 76 and enabled the new architecture under iOS, but when compiling, we have an error with the react-native-qualtrics pod. Can the below be fixed so we can use Qualtrics with the new rn architecture under iOS? Thanks!

Changing first letter of piped text to lowercase

I want to pipe the selection from a standard likert scale question like the one below into a follow-up open ended question. Very unlikely Somewhat unlikely Neither likely nor unlikely Somewhat likely Very likely I want to change the first letter of the piped selection so that it is lower case. Calculating Age in Simple layout with Side-by-Side question

I need to create an age verification question using the side-by-side matrix format from the Qualtrics shared library. The end goal is to collect date of birth, verify if the respondent is 18 or older, then allow them to complete the survey (if yes). We use the Simple Layout in this survey. I tried using embedded data in the survey flow to calculate age and can get close , but it’s not accurate enough for our needs (ages are off by 1-2 weeks due to leap years, etc.). Using month and year (but not day) to estimate age eligibility

Hello, I have no experience with Javascript which seems to be needed for this question. I am wondering if it is possible to use just month and year of birth to estimate age eligibility (18-25 year olds). Obviously without the day of birth, it would not be precise, but I am looking to use just month and year of birth in order to exclude less than 18 or greater than 25 year olds. I'm currently using a Javascript survey question from the global library that asks for month and year of birth.

Widen question background color

I used this code to change the question background color jQuery("#"+this.questionId).css("background-color","#F5F5F5") However, the color comes very close to the text. Is there a way to widen all the margins (top/bottom/left/right) so that there is more space between the text and the box?

Scroll Bar for Side by Side Question on an iPad only Works in Portrait, how can I get the scroll bar in landscape?

I have a survey that is going to be taken on ipads and have a rather large side by side question that I added some custom code to that makes the first column sticky, so you can still see the first column with the statement choices as you scroll. This works perfectly when I hold the ipad in portrait, but when I rotate to landscape the scroll bar no longer displays with the question, but at the bottom of the page so the option to keep the first column showing as you scroll doesn’t work. In landscape it spreads the content out more so it’s easier to work with, I’m just not sure why I lose the scroll bar. Does anyone know of an option or some custom code that will address this issue?
