Hi,I would like to build a workflow,so that after an employee replied to a survey,a field on their employee data in the Employee Directory is updated.In the workflow builder, I can find (multiple) tasks to update fields in the CX Directory,but none of them seem to be able to connect to the EX Directory.Is there any way by which I can achieve this? Thanks,Joyca

i want to set up a logic based authenticator for a EX survey. We want users to use SSO for participants that can authenticate via SSO and if they cant then simply use their email address to authenticate and respond to the survey.  

Regarding Authenticators for either an Engagement project or a Lifecycle project, is it possible to have both an SSO Authentication and a Person Field Authentication (i.e., Email or UniqueID) on for a single survey?The issue I have is the majority of my employees can log in via SSO -- but there is a small portion who don’t have SSO and will need to authenticate in via another method.

Hello Community,I have a specific question about the task "extracting data from an SFTP file." My question is whether Qualtrics can decrypt a file with PGP encryption before I can review the execution history, assuming the PGP encryption option is enabled. Does anyone know if this is possible or if there’s any additional configuration I should consider? I’d appreciate any guidance or experiences you could share.Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone! 😊We’re launching action plans based on our engagement survey, and I’d love to gather some tips and best practices to make these plans as useful as possible. Last time we implemented action plans with this survey, they weren’t very productive, and many users didn’t see any value in them.I want to ensure that we clearly demonstrate how they can use these plans to gain real value. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!Thank you! 

I’m working on a survey where we would like to mix display logic and randomization. I understand that mixing display/skip logic and randomization within a block are not allowed using the default randomization. Ideally, what we’d like to do is randomly show one of 2 follow-up items, depending how someone answered a preceding rating item. The rating item has a 5 point Strongly Agree to Strongly Disagree scale. If they answer Strongly Disagree or Disagree, we’d like to show a follow-up item to 50% of participants (we don’t want everyone answering it). So basically, it’s randomly showing a follow-up to a subset of people depending how they answer the rating item. It would be ideal if this could be done within the block. If the item order needs to be changed, we can likely put this at the end. Is this possible with JavaScript or anything else? I haven’t found a clear answer and we don’t have a ton of time to come up with a solution.

Hi, if I distribute a survey via both an Anonymous Link with authentication and Qualtrics mailer, can I still ensure that each participant will still only take the survey once?For example, if someone has completed the survey via the link in their email, when they try the anonymous link and enter their email address will it prevent the person from doing the survey again? And vice versa, if someone has completed the survey via the anonymous link (having had to first authenticate by entering their email address) and then try to complete it using the survey link in their email, will it prevent the person from doing the survey again?Also, is there another way to authenticate the person besides asking them to submit their email address e.g. SSO if they use a work device or something like that?

Hello everyone, I’m part of the Global Talent Management team within my organization and we use surveys that we distribute across our worldwide sites. We provide data to advisors on HR operations, and we want them to access specific dashboards from their Qualtrics accounts. I created new users for the advisors with permissions that should allow them to see dashboards, and I added them in specific roles within the project to allow them to see the data. We use Qualtrics EX  for this. So far, advisors are able to see the dashboard when I provide them with its URL link. However, when they log into their Qualtrics account, they cannot see neither projects nor associated dashboards. As such, they cannot navigate Qualtrics to access what they need, and they have to bypass by using the URL link. We aim to centralize information so they can access all they need from their home page. As anyone ever had a similar problem? Hi thereI have a question in a survey where people have to rank 4 topics where 1 is strongest and 4 is least strongest. Is there some clever code I can use to force people to only select 1 scale point across the 4 topics.  So we don’t want someone to select scale 1 more than once as an example.  I’m using the EX product due various reasons and EX doesn’t have ranking style question. I am also using the new “Simple Layout” Appreciate any suggestions

Hi all,  hoping to find some insights - maybe somebody had a similar situation. We are running a yearly engagement survey with a parent-child org hierarchy. Now we have the situation, that some teams only have 2-3 people so they would never reach the anonymity threshold of 5. The idea now is to provide a dashboard to the upper managers of these teams (so next level up in hierarchy) with a summarised dashboard for these teams - so e.g. team a (3 people), team b (2 people) = summarised in one dashboard. What would be a good way to go about this? Using filters and lock them on the dashboard? Thanks for sharing!BR

Hi, Q. community,I ´m new Q. EX Technology consultant and I have a problem with displaying page filters data on the dashboard.We imported dashboard data translation to six languages. All columns with proper language translation (One of them is Croatian). When I set the platform language to EN, and adding the page filter, I see the dashboard data in Croatian and the same in other platform account languages.It seems as the default language is Croatian instead of the EN. See the mixture of the Croatian and English. When I export the data file there are missing data in Croatian column and in EN column is partially Croatian translations. When I import corrected translation it happens again.Any idea why the import dashboard data translation does not work correctly? Thanks Pavel

HI team, If we decide to use pseudoanonimity for our Brand, it will apply to all the surveys in EX? Or can we also determine if engagement surveys get pseudianinimity and lifecycle not?  Thanks Livia

HI team,  I need to download some engagement type of surveys in QSF, in order to be able to upload them later in a new brand. I checked the support pages. and when I go via Tools option, I dont have the possibility to choose export as QSF, but onlt export as Word. Is there another way to export in QSF? or its not enabled for engagement surveys?  Many thanks Livia B

Hi all - For an upcoming survey we want to use emailed invitations and an anonymous link on our intranet home page.  The survey flow includes a SSO authenticator that associates the respondent with the participant list.  In initial testing it works as expected - participants can use either the unique link from the invitation email or the anonymous link.  They can also start with one and finish with the other, which is great.Non-participants who successfully authenticate see an error message “this evaluation can no longer be completed” which is confusing.  My question is if that error message can be customized?  I haven’t found an option to do so yet but I’m hoping one of you have, or maybe have an alternative approach.Thanks!!

We would like to internally implement some quick pulse check project for a new Qualtrics tenant. The tenant is blank and there is no integration in place. Therefore, the first pulse check is planned to be completelly anonymous. It should be distributed to all our employees. Below are my thoughts on the different packages and I would be interested if you see some better/easier approach to get this started. As base, we might use the EX25 template (or a blank engagement survey) and choose 10-15 questions which make most sense for our organization. We would not include any authenticator in the survey. SSO setup will take place at a later point of time.  We will adjust the dashboard template of EX25 to fit our survey. Breakdowns won’t make sense. Eventually, we could include some org hierarchy or other demographic questions to collect some information but this is still to be decided. We’re using an Ad Hoc project for change management feedback and need to provide a dashboard page showing all the responses for a single participant selected in a page filter.  Is this doable in an EX dashboard?

Hello everyone,I have a question regarding the configuration of a hierarchy question in an engagement survey. The survey includes participants who will answer both anonymously and non-anonymously. However, some of the anonymous responses will come from people who do not belong to the lowest level of the hierarchy; instead, they are in the second and third levels.What considerations should be taken into account to handle this situation? Does the hierarchy question functionality allow for this type of setup?Thank you for your help!

Hello,I would like to display a comparison of response rates month over month for my Pulse surveys EX dashboard. I learnt that there is no widget that can accommodate this (Participation Summary widget displays only the current month’s data, and doesn’t support historical data).Do you perhaps see any workaround to achieve this? Unfortunately I do not need just overall response rates (this I could achieve just by creating a static widget with textual info), I need the response rates to be adjusted when using filters.Thank you!

so I'm looking at adding query strings to unique survey URLs, and some of our invites go out via SMS, so character limits are a thing.I have an employee engagement survey set up, and the unique links that are generated include all of these fields:Q_TS_RE_PID Three sixty Evaluator IDQ_TS_ID Three sixty IDQ_TS_PID Three sixty Person IDQ_TS_RS Three sixty RelationshipThis isn't a 360, so the PID & RE_PID are identical, and the relationship = "Self"The reason I ask is I'm trying to use an URL shortener, and it works if I just shorten the survey URL prior to the last "/", and then I can append the rest of the full URL (so I don't have to generate a unique URL for each link). However that isn't very efficient, because it only saves me 21 characters, as I have all this other stuff that appears after that in the URL.It seems like I only need one of those 4 fields specified in the URL, but it doesn't work if I remove any of them.TIA.
