Qualtrics Platform

I’m messing around with using images for survey backgrounds and I’m curious about the sizing of the image. I simply tried to use our logo as a test, but only could see about a quarter of a word. Then I used another image and it too appeared to only show part of the image. The Support page says to use a large high-resolution image, but that seems like I’d only see less of the image. Or maybe that is counterintuitive.Thank you.

I know how to prevent the session expired message, however I have a customer who really wants to complete a survey but cannot because it is marked as finished in the directory. Since this customer has not completed any other surveys, can I delete them from the directory and all lists then add them back in and send a survey? Has any one had any success with this or have any other ideas?

In my survey I have a Side By Side question. Within this question I would like to have the Multiple Choice options be pre populated by an earlier question. I want to do this by using Javascript. I tried three options without result: this.setChoiceAnswerValue(2,2,true); this.setChoiceValue(2,2,true); this.setChoiceValueByRecodeValue(2,2,true);The question looks like the screenshot below:Can somebody help me giving me the right JavaScript code?Thanks in advance.

I am having difficulty with the "End of Survey" message. It appears in English, regardless of what language the survey was completed in. I have tried multiple sources online but cannot figure it out. I have set up one survey (with multiple languages) and I have "manually" translated the survey, meaning that I copied & pasted in the translations from what the translators sent me. I can see how to customise the End of Survey messages (this allows me to create "End of Survey Message in German", "End of Survey Message in Italian" etc). But it will only allow me to select one of these as my "End of Survey" message, it will not change language depending on the language the participant completes the survey in. I have changed the "Survey Flow" loads of times but I cannot get it to work properly.Would it be possible for you to send me a screenshot of the "survey flow " screen from your survey? Or do you have any other solutions to this issue? Thank you for your help!

Hi All, I have a multiple choice questions for e.g. which pet do you have Dog Cat Rat Birdand user can select as many as option they want. However, in the excel export file of Qualtrics I want to have these option appear as semi-colon (‘;’) separated instead of comma separated (usual format). Could you please help if this is possible!

I am starting to use supplemental data through an imported data project in a survey and I just realized how limited the autocomplete is.  If a respondent does not type out the choices exactly how they start out in the database, then it won’t pick up the choice:Example in Database: State of Utah-Utah State LegislatureRespondent Typing Example that wouldn’t recognize the example above: Legislature……. Does anyone know of a workaround for this or perhaps I just need to make a feature request?

Hi, Wondering if we can set up a trigger/Thank You 2-way SMS once someone submits negative feedback via a survey (distributed via email with link) to ask if they want to be contacted about their remarks? This could be a Detractor in NPS or marked a multiple choice as somewhat or extremely dissatisfied. Thanks

We are using a basic Qualtrics survey as a screening form to assess eligibility of potential participants for a larger survey. We are providing potential participants with an anonymous link to this screening form and so far we have been able to collect eligibility data for around 400 participants with no issues. Starting yesterday however, I am being contacted by potential participants who are reporting that they are only seeing the second question in the survey and when they respond to that, they see the survey end message. I am able to confirm this when looking at the Data & Analysis tab where I can see a significant number of participants who have only responded to that question. The participants should be seeing several more questions.I am perplexed because we haven’t made any changes to the survey and we are still seeing some participants who are apparently getting access to the entire survey as they have complete data.Can anyone help explain what may be happening here?

Hi guys, I’m having a 7 step Journey but in 4 surveys in the following structure:Survey1: Step 1,2,3 - Survey2: Step 4 - Survey3: Step 5,6 - Survey4: Step 7.Each step has its own CSAT, each survey has its own tNPS. So we have 7 CSAT and 4 NPSMy guys already collecting data with touchpoint Embedded Data tag for each survey and it’s fine when draw a 4 touchpoint journey widget with 4 NPS.But now they want a breakdown 7 step CSAT with the journey widget.How can I do it with the already collected data and set up so the CSAT got assigned into multiple touchpoints in 1 survey. I already check this Configuring Dashboard Data for Journeys (qualtrics.com) but the survey have to collect all CSATs, can’t go for branch.Thank you in advance!

Is there a way to trigger an email workflow or other notification whenever a new unique value is submitted for a specific survey field? In this case, client encounters are labeled with an ID that has usually already been used in a past encounter, but we want to know whenever a new client ID is entered.

I have a "Side by Side" question that has a dropdown, this is correctly displayed in the English version of the survey, but for some languages (like Portuguese) the dropdown is not displayed correctly (the options are displayed outside the dropdown) Do you have any suggestion on how to fix this?

Hi! My question is about dominant choices/preferences in conjoint analysis, since I would like to understand how I can ensure that no dominant choices will be shown to my respondents when using Qualtrics? I know that I can eliminate a certain combination of values for my attributes, but since I will have many combinations with dominant choices, I wonder if there is a method for eliminating all of them automatically?I will make an example:In a job description you might have to choose between the following attributes:Salary, Work-life balance, food in cantine and work environment (these are not my actual attributes, but for simplicity I will use these here) Then lets say that all of the attributes can vary between two values, so they can be either “good” or “bad” (again just for simplicity). Many combinations can be identified as having dominant choices, since a dominant choice occurs when the alternative choice has at least one attribute which is worse and none which is better - please

I have a survey with several blocks of questions. One block has 20 questions and we want to only display 5 that are randomly selected so each participant sees different questions. We also want to auto-advance those 5 randomly selected questions so participants only have a short period of time to answer them (so they can’t look up the answer). This will mean each question will have to be on a new page. We have mostly figured out how to do one or the other, but are having difficulty doing randomly selecting a subset of questions and having them auto-advance. Any guidance is greatly appreciated! Hi -At the end of my survey (which has two ending messages), I’d like to ask if the person taking the survey wants to submit their email for follow up information.  Is that possible?  How?

Hello, I have 18 september responses, but stats IQ says I have only one. This is using the End Date variable/column. In reports, for the same survey/project, it shows 18. What’s going on? Kind of makes stats IQ pointless if I can’t trust it to be correct..

This is not related to the Qualtrics Platform, this is related to survey responses.  When a customer responds to a question about how about satisfied they are with the interaction of their customer care agent ranking from extremely unhappy to extremely happy and they select extremely unhappy but their comments are all positive of the agent.  My question is:  Do you change the customer’s response to reflect the customer’s comments? This is a debate in our organization right now.  Thanks!
