I want to find and display in a report the gap (in percentage) between the means of two Likert scales. The scales are identical except for the question wording (Example: What is the current state of this? and What is the future state of this?Is this possible?

Hello!I have a forced response question that has several options/assertions that I want to be rated on a scale of 1 to 7. I have added a final option/assertion that is called “other”. As I say, this question has the forced response, but I don't want the “other” option/assertion to be forced, as it forces you to put anything in order to continue. It is an optional statement that can only be used optionally if the respondent comes up with something different. Thank you very much for your help!

Hi, I couldn’t see this issue anywhere else, apologies if it is! We had a recent leaver who had a few workflows under his name, and when we turned these on, the ones that involved sending out an email were failing at the email send point. Copying the workflows & deleting the old fixed the problem, but we haven’t experienced this issue before with other leavers so was wondering if it was related to account settings. Our understanding is that processes owned by leavers should be transferred to the account admin on deactivation of an account? Does anyone have any thoughts on what happened this time?

Hi,I'm looking for a solution to a challenge – maybe some of you have similar experiences and can share ideas on how you handled it.For business users who won't be checking the Qualtrics dashboards daily, I need to prepare a cyclical report.I noticed that in the survey settings, there’s a tab for reports where the appearance and content can be customized.The challenge is that I’d like to export an NPS score in the report, calculated for a specific date range (from the 8th of one month to the 8th of the next month). Is there a way to set this up?It’s important that such a report is exported because, under the "right to be forgotten" law, a user who requests to be forgotten is deleted from the database, along with all their associated surveys. This impacts the NPS score. That's why I need a cyclical, in a sense "frozen" report.   4o

Is there a way to customize the initial unsubscribe message when clicking on the Opt-Out link?In Qualtrics, I know there's a way to configure subscription messages as explained here: Qualtrics Directory Messages. However, I can't seem to find a way to customize the first message that appears when someone clicks on the Opt-Out link.This one: Does anyone know if this is possible, or if there are any workarounds?

Hello I have a unique situation. I need to remove all contacts in a single mailing list monthly. My use case is as followsEvery month I upload a new list of contact records I need to remove the contacts in the list before uploading new contact records because some of last month’s contacts may not be valid for the next months distributionI found a way to do this using the code task using Javascript but I’m getting an error message I’ve never seen before.  Has anyone seen this issue or know how to resolve it? Does anyone know of a different way to accomplish what I’m asking? I need this to be automated as well. I am trying to set a rule tnat standard users can’t see default directory - right now they can see them.  I looked at the roles and realized that there are two roles - Standard and Standard - Qualtrics. I assumed the latter one is the latest/newest one).  We created a cloned standard account and tweaked the settings but now, they have access to the directory which they are not supposed to.  Should I toggle Acess to Directory XM off?  But when I did that, I checked my account and found that my lists that I created now are missing.Any suggestion?Thanks

I came into an org and did not set up the original ticketing. I need to change the red circled “follow-up questions” shown on the right here… but I am a bit lost as to how to go about this?Also what will happen to the data that has historically been captured here? Would it be best to edit this current template, assuming that is possible? Or would it be best to create a whole new template and new workflow?  

I have generated a survey with 1000 questions with multiple choice. I’ve generated it with Python.But importing a survey can take hours and most of the time it doesn't upload at all. I’ve been waiting for so long.Any tips to resolve?

Hello all! I am designing a study where people are randomly assigned to evaluate profiles - half of which are of people named “David” and the other half of which are of people named “Jennifer”. Participants will then answer questions about these profiles (same questions in every condition). However, I want each item piped with the name of the profile they viewed (e.g., “What did you think of David [Jennifer]”?). Is there an easy way to do this?

I am hoping to build a workflow that would have Qualtrics send a summary about survey engagement to a slack channel. I know how to send a notification about a new single response, but am not sure how to get started with one that would summarize the past 24 hours.

I am trying to make a question that displays answer choices from multiple matrices that were previously asked. Specifically, the question would only pull statements from each matrix if it was answered with a specific scale point within that matrix, and each statement pulled would be its own answer choice in the question. It seems I can’t use carry forward since that only works if I want to pull from a single matrix. When I tried doing piped text, it put multiple answer choices from each matrix (if more than one statement was answered with that specific scale point within the matrix) into one answer choice. Is there a way to do this without Javascript? I am not a coder, so I don’t think I would be able to write a code for this.

Hello,I am creating a survey with several levels of randomness, but I want to show the participant the same question later in the survey to validate their sample.In the survey, the participant is randomly presented 10 out of 20 blocks, and in each block, 1 out of 10 possible questions is randomly presented. (they answer 10 questions in total) I want to have an 11th question, where the user must answer 1 of the previous questions again. Ideally, this 11th question would be randomly placed within the original 10 questions, but it is acceptable if it is just an extra 11th question. Is there a way to do this in Qualtrics? (Also, I am just using the free trial account, without the full feature set)

Hi everybody,  On a monthly basis I am creating surveys that consist of 1400 blocks (with 2 questions each). I want 20 of those blocks to be randomly appointed to a participant of the survey. Right now I am adding all these 1400 blocks manualy to the randomizer but this takes forever. Is there a way to select multiple blocks and add them to the randomizer simultaniously? Or is there another way to speed up this proces? Thank you in advance! 

I work for a credit union that has about 50 branches. We want to have a QR code survey displayed in each branch that asks about their experience. Any ideas on how to have a different QR code for each branch that will identify which branch the respondent is at, but it all filters into the same dataset?I appreciate any ideas/suggestions. I am sending surveys to staff members and I have the date they joined the company (DOC) as an embedded field. Can I use this to calculate a filed which shows how long they have worked for the company. Ie to show date of survey minus DOC date as a number of months?Thanks

Hi all, I've created many surveys before where I display images using loop and merge which work fine, but my old technique doesn't seem to be working on my latest survey and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Or, has something about the way images are displayed changed in the last couple of years and I need a new solution?Here's what I do:-I list the image URLs (I tested the URLs, they work) as a field in the L&M array (picture #1).-In the question, I insert a dummy picture, and change the URL field to the L&M field code (picture #2).However, when I preview the survey, instead of showing the image, it just shows the end of the L&M field: "5}" (picture #3).Any ideas what might be going on? I've looked back in my old surveys and as far as I can tell, they're set up exactly like this and display pictures just fine.

I’ve looked through a lot of other posts where I think folks are trying to achieve something similar but I’m not sure if there’s a different way to do this because my scenario is going to have a lot of pieces of data to pass from the first survey to the second.I’m building a survey for employees to upload files (pictures) and a second survey where, ideally, I can bring in the URL for those pictures from the first survey as embedded data that I can pipe in to an <img> tag so that the images can be voted on for a particular category.In the first survey, I’ve set up a quota and logic to store each file as a separate piece of embedded data, so that I could use survey logic in the second survey how many radio options to display images for. And I’ve figured out how to pipe and image URL into a radio option.But I haven’t figured out how to get the file URL as embedded data from the first survey into the embedded data in the second survey so that it can be piped t
