I've created a Qualtrics Survey slider and included the four labels above the slider, but my labels have a larger text, so the last label is getting thinner and taller as compared to the other three labels. Is there a way to increase the width of the label text box?enter image description hereI am not very familiar with qualtrics, so I tried to do it on qualtrics, but nothing is working. I tried some solutions from the internet, but no one was answering this specific problem.

I’m trying to load the current date into Contact list in Workflow. But no luck. Using Basic Transformation Task in Workflow, I’m able to create a new field, but the date is not coming.Error: ${date:/… itself is added instead of its value. Using Code task in workflow, I’m unable to load current the date into Contact ListError Message: ReferenceError: Qualtrics is not defined

Hello,I am trying to create a survey with several layers of randomization. I need to present a select number of 5 different scenario types.Here is the breakdown of what I am trying to do.Each scenario is a block of three questions, a timer, a scenario/multiple choice, and a slider question. I have 5 different types of scenarios, we can call A, B, C, D, and E. I have 15 of each type of ABCDE, for a total of 75 scenarios. I want to randomly present 10 A, B, C, D, & Es in a random order, for a total of 50 scenarios. Right now I can only get it to randomly present 10 from each type of scenario, but it maintains the A, B, C, D, & E order. Please tell me what I am doing wrong.

Is there any way to calculate or lookup a value and use that calculated value in the Email Invite? Scenario:We are receiving Brand ID from the Contact List.If BrandID = 1then BrandName = ABC, BrandLog = https://abc.com, CustomerCareNumber = 12345If BrandID = 2then BrandName = EFG, BrandLog = https://efg.com, CustomerCareNumber = 23456If BrandID = 3then BrandName = XYZ, BrandLog = https://xyz.com, CustomerCareNumber = 98765 Based on Brand ID in the Contact List, I’m able to use Branch and Set Embedded data in the Survey Flow to calculate Brand specific values. I’m able to use these calculated values in the Survey but not in the Email Invite. I tried Supplemental Data Source too, but I see no option to use SBS data in Email Invite.Adding all brand Specific details in the Contact List seems like a lot of duplicate data!

Hello everyone, I would like to know what is the reason for having Recorded data - 26 of AprilStart date - 19 AprilEnd date - 19 April. If the customer finished the survye on the 19th April, why Qualtrics recorded the answer days after?Thank you :)

Greetings XM Community!I’m using the survey platform to create a form.  I need to be able to fill it out and then send it to two individuals for approval signatures.  I’ll need to repeat this process for various programs.  From the research I’ve done I can send the survey to myself to fill out but need to know how I can forward the completed form so my signers can see the data I entered and sign off.  It appears a workflow can accomplish this?  Or does it have to be JAVA?  I really want to use the platform and not have to default to a Word document or Google forms.I am attaching a copy of the form (had issues getting the QSF)If there’s an article where the answer already exists please post it - I found a few but nothing quite like what I needed.As always, you all are the best!!!

Hello fellow-users! My survey is translated into 3 languages. The respondents have an opportunity to switch between languages anytime during the filling in of the survey.But is there a way for me to see in which language they were reading the most? Because, if I understand it correctly, in the data file I can only see the language they were using when pressing the submit button. Is there a way to track if they were switching at all or which language they preferred while responding? My thesis advisor is concerned that the data is less reliable because I don’t know in which language the filled it in and if they even understood all the questions correctly (my thesis is about language learning, so this issue is quite important). Thanks in advance for your help!

I’ve created a personality survey that has 25 questions, and each answer option (5 options) corresponds to a specific personality type (5 in total). The scoring model is working fine (have 5 different categories, each coded as binary) and categorizing a respondent correctly as I test it. I am looking to create a tiebreaker logic on the off chance a respondent has the same number of answers to 2 or more personality types. Is this currently possible? It will classify them as the first one that comes in the physical order I have coded the embedded data fields at the moment.

Dear all,  We did some action planning in Qualtrics in 2023 and we ended up with people entering too many actions plans, on different questions of the survey or categories. This time we were thinking if we could limit the number of questions on which users can create action plans. Like if we have 50 questions in the survey, can we limit that people see in the list just lets say 10 questions that they can create an action plan for? This way it could be more quality and not just quantity. Any tips are welcomed.  Many thanks Livia B 

I am trying to create a matrix table that pulls a number of statements from different categories. Imagine I’m asking: “Have you watched the following sports teams?” The choices are “Definitely”, “Maybe”, “No”, and “Not Sure.”But I want to set up banks based on sport. I want to have a bunch of soccer teams, a bunch of hockey teams,  a bunch of baseball teams, etc., but I only want to display 2 of each sport.So I need a way to establish 5 banks of statements (team names) and pull 2 per bank (sport). I can’t quite figure out how to do this using randomization and I want to keep everything in one matrix so I don’t get people thinking too hard about individual sports.Thanks in advance!

So I have a survey with a few loop and merge options. What I want to do is display all the loops for one question in one chart.For example, say the question is “what hobbies do you enjoy” and I list out six choices. Then one of the loops is “how much time do you spend on these” and it’s a multiple-choice question with three options (how long you’ve been doing the hobby)What I’d want to see is a series of stacked bars, with each hobby having a bar of it’s own with three segments representing the three choices.  But, I don’t see any way to do that.  I can put the first question on one axis and then a single loop on the other, and it displays what I want the results to look like, but if I change that to another loop choice, it changes all of it.   See the images below for an example.  HOW they’re displayed is what I want.  But both versions have slightly different values for all the six options because I used a different option on the data series in the editor.  So, my concern is how do I

Hi,I've set up an XM Directory Automation for importing contacts (= calls to our hotline) and distributing a transactional feedback survey.The date / time of the customer interaction (call to the hotline) gets imported into the XM Directory as "Transaction Date".I now would like to use the date of the transaction in the survey flow / survey text. For example: "Thanks for calling our service hotline on 23-07-2022!"Is there a way to access the 'Transaction Date' in the survey? I guess I have to set it up as Embedded Data?And if so, is there a way to only use the day (and not the entire time stamp including the time)?Thanks!Manfred

Hi there,I am very new to Qualtrics and am trying to figure out the best way to randomize my study for my university honors thesis. The set up of my study is to show an image for 10 seconds, then a 7-point likert rating scale with the image on top of the scale, and then a 4 second fixation cross page. At the moment I have set up each stimuli (an image), followed by the rating scale and subsequent fixation cross in a block. I have 26 images, so 26 blocks. I have used the timer features with auto-advance after 10 seconds, while showing a countdown for 10 seconds for the stimuli (image) presentation. After 10 seconds it auto advances to the next page which shows the same image along with a matrix Likert scale rating question underneath. I have a 5 second countdown on that timer as well to encourage prompt responses. After they submit their response, a fixation cross comes up with the timer set to auto advance after 4 seconds.When I randomize the blocks in the survey flow part, it messes u

Looking to connect with others who have used/use Qualtrics for their marketing department’s data analytics. Looking to pull data in from many different tools and social media such as facebook, instagram, hubspot, zendesk, etc.  Did you create all the forms in Qualtrics or are other marketing tools being used and just the data being pulled in? Did you find that creating dashboards ground up in Qualtrics produced successful outcomes?  We want to tell stories with our reporting, measure the media mix, optimize targeting and empower us with actionable marketing data. 

Hi,I have semicolon delimited text in external data reference that i am using to dynamically generate a list of options for my users. This list is customised per user in the contacts directory.I am using Javascript to generate the options, however the checkboxes are not loading, only the text is loading. The code I'm using is below. I think its something to do with Stylesheets, can anyone figure out what is wrong?.. Hi all,I am new to Qualtrics. I am setting up questionnaire with Qualtrics for the first time.My survey is for 400 participants with multiple quota set up.We are using another research entity for distribution.I haven’t properly had a talk with them yet. According to the phone conversation, I am supposed to share a link where they can monitor the quota. They will keep distributing the survey link to the target population until the quota is reached.I don’t know the link they are talking about. How do I share the survey quota without sharing the survey data. Thank you in advance.

If I want to use a survey for clients to select times from a list for a webinar, is there a way to use the time they picked and have a hold placed in their outlook calendar after the complete the survey?  So if for example I picked from a long list of times 8:30 AM EST, once I finish the survey I would get the calendar invitation to save in Outlook on it’s own?

Hey colleagues,Hope you are well.I wonder it it would be possible to filter by 'country in the Text IQ functionality so each country user can access to their 'open comments' analysis in the Text IQ feature and not only overall. I am going to try to explain what we need:We have created a survey where open ended questions are asked. A codeframe with parent topics and subtopics has been created and works pretty well.We have different level of users who enter into the Dashboards. These users have access to the overall results for all countries but also can filter by country. For instance 'german' users have access to the overall results and more in detail to results in Germany. There is a 'country' filter in the Dashboard that lets users filter by country. When this filter is applied the Text IQ widgets are aso filtered by this variable, ok.We would like that in addition to the Text IQ widgets already included, give user the chance to look into the 'Text IQ feature' to look more in detail.
