How to force response after entered "text" in Matrix table.

Hi, I have a matrix question that uses a Likert-scale point system. I have one response that is an "Other" that allows text entry. I managed to create a custom validation which allows this answer option not be forced response. However, I want to force respondents to select an appropriate scale after they entered a text in "other" (in case they move to next question without select the scale). How do I do this?

Help with exporting embedded JavaScript data

Hi,I built a survey a few months back and ran it for some time until a month ago (January 2021). I understand there had been a legacy exporter update and that's probably the reason I cannot export this data properly. Does anyone have an idea how I can export my JavaScript embedded data properly in any other way? It is very important :)

How to display a question to 1 respondent out of 4

Hi,I want to add a retroaction question to my survey. Our company does not have the capacity to call back 100% of our respondents. Therfore, i'd like only 25% of our respondent to see this question. How can I do that ?Thanks

Cloudflare for lightboxes breaks conjoint tables - I think its sneaky button that stops working?

Hi all,I have a conjoint table I am currently building. The features are pretty complex so I want to provide extra detail. I could use hovers but I find them very slow in qualtrics. I tend to use lightboxes but I have found that adding the cloudflare into the header means that the conjoint tables don't work the same way. What happens is that you cant click on the table anymore, but instead have to click the radio button at the bottom. Anyone know why and how to fix it? This is the script that goes into the headerScreenshots below:

I was wondering if one can edit the formatting of all survey questions at once?

I mean that it would be very useful if for example, I need all my questions to be in Times New Roman font, size 14 and in colour blue. At the same time I would for example need answers to be shown with a smaller size letters (12) and in black colour. I could not find this option to edit my survey in this manner, if someone can help, that be highly appreciated. If there isn't such option, then I believe it would be very useful.

I am trying to set colors/font etc for text area in qualtrics reports but i can't setup it globally for all reports. Do you have any solution to setup it globally ?Also, do we have any option to calculate 25th/75th percentile in the report?

Any ideas how to dynamically add/link questions from one survey into another?

Hi AllHope someone out there has any ideas on how to do the following:Scenario: We have standard templates in Qualtrics which we initiate via API on another tool. We now have a business request to customize these surveys. Ideally we want to have a set of 10 questions that users can pick from. These questions will then need to be added to the standard template (we do not want to create various templates - 1 template only), via the API and this is then sent to the respondent.Any ideas on how we can do this? pipped text? Branching? suggestions are very welcome - willing to test and try anything to enable this.Many thanks in advance😅

Response Times

Hello,I'm looking over our first sample data from our pilot survey, and I have a few questions regarding response times. We have a survey with many different pages, and a timing element on each page. The timing element tells us number of clicks, time to first click, time to last click, and time to submit. We also get an overall "survey time" variable on export. As it turns out, there is a large discrepancy sometimes between the sum of all the page time to submits and hte overall survey time. Can anyone explain why this might be, and also maybe exactly how each of these response times are calculated.Thank you,-Jeff

How can I correct the survey so there's an equal number of respondents in the 3 sample groups?

I branched and randomised respondents into 1 of 3 question blocks and ticked the box so that there would be an equal number of respondents in each. Unfortunately, after I published the survey, some of the responses I've had back were rushed and had to be deleted from the results. This has left me with a different number of respondents in each survey group. How can I correct this issue, so that there is an equal number of responses in each survey group?One idea I've had:-Duplicate the survey twice. In both duplicates of the survey, only allow respondents to enter 1 of the survey groups, then publish. Hopefully, if I share each survey (survey group) to the right number of people, I'd have an equal number of respondents in each survey group.Is there a better way to get round this issue and would the idea above even work?Thanks for reading and have a good day

Dropdown list question validation rule takes to end of survey and not next question

For the survey question "what is your age"I have created a drop down list question (choices/values correspond to 1=1, 2=2 up to 110) and added a custom validation. When the participants select 1 to 17 they get a message ("You must be 18 or older to participate). This is a forced response question so that they cannot ignore.When the select 18 or any other up to 110 they are allowed to proceed.The issue: Passing the validation it takes straight to end of survey instead of the next question

Fields That Are Exported From Qualtrics

In my work, I export various reports from Qualtrics about once a week. When I open them up in Excel to begin processing, there are so many useless columns that I have to delete every single time. Headers include "End Date", "IP Address", "Duration (in second", "Latitude", "Longitude", etc. Is there a way to format my exports so that they don't include these columns? The usable data from my exports doesn't start until column R, and it's getting tedious to have to delete all these columns every time I export the data. Thank you!

Email Task - survey response triggering event.

From the Qualtrics website on triggering an email task, it says the task (in this case sending an email to the respondent with a link to a pdf) can be triggered after answering a question (partial completion of the survey) if the response to the question is recorded. Specifically, I have a question at the beginning of my survey that if selected should send an email with a link to a pdf of the survey. I would like that email to be sent after the answer to the question is recorded as opposed to the respondent having to complete the survey, which would require the respondent requesting a new link to the survey and me sending a email with a link for the participant to retake the survey. My testing of this email task requires that I complete the survey in order for an email to be sent. Any thoughts on how I can get the email task to trigger when the respondent selects the question and the answer to the question is recorded (in this case its the first question in the survey).
