Hi everyone,I need to create a multiple choice question (or similar), wherein the 5 statements are randomized but some text (or image) is always fixed to the 4th choice position (X).Example:A question asking to select one statement below:                          Statement A (randomized)                          Statement B (randomized)                          Statement C (randomized)X (Fixed on 4) Statement D (randomized)                          Statement E (randomized) I am not sure if I can use Java or other coding to make this happen. I am working with Qualtrics workflow in which pulling survey response to Podio using API.In one scenario, I wanted loop for API call which is based on answer to question.In workflow itself, there is no option for looping.I have tried with custom code, with help of JavaScript fetch/XMLHttpRequest function. I was trying to call API in loop. Hi! For some reasons I would like to show my question ID in the header (in very small characters below the question and less remarkable to the participants). I tried to do it by inserting a Piped Text in the Header section of Look&Feel but could not find the according field name for the question ID. Is there any way to do it? Many thanks!

Hello everyone,I am new to Qualtrics and I am currently trying to create a survey with smileys faces, I know I have the Graphic slider option but I would like the respondant to be able to see all the smileys. If you look below, this is what I manage to do so far. I need you help because I would like the smiley to be the question label, or get ride of the grey square behind please if you know ?  Or maybe there is an oder option with JavaScript ? Or CSS ?  Thank you for your help !  

Is there way I can add emojis to the scale of my NPS question. I don't want to change the question format to multiple choice as the survey is an existing one and with numerous responses. I am able to achieve this for all the other languages through the translations, but unable to do the same for the base language EN-US.Thanks in advance!

I am looking to apply some javascript code to a slider question to change the functionality of the slider. The code has been given to me by the organisation that has created this certain measurement tool (the Affective Emotional Slider) and it says it is functional for Qualtrics, however I cannot figure out where I can apply the code to actually change the function of the slider survey? 

For the screen capture question, I just want to show the icon itself but no other wordings, including the text above and the text “capture screen” beside the icon. May I know how to do so?

I am trying to `allow multiple answers` using Qualtrics Survey Api Create/Update question. I can not find anything related to allow multiple/single answer in documentation, it’s always `allow one answer` question by default. Hi there. I am looking to enable my survey respondents to add further ‘blank’ columns on a side-by-side question, which offer the same choices as the ‘stock’ columns but the respondent can edit the column header for. Ideally, there would be a ‘plus’ button which adds an additional column right of “Trade bodies...”, whose header is blank and the respondent can type in, but with the same drop-downs as the other columns (see the below screenshot). That way the respondent can add an institution not listed and evaluate it on the same terms as the others. I have seen a discussion along the same lines, but in the context of adding rows, here:  Does anybody have any suggestions as to how I could amend this for my purposes? I imagine javascript is involved, however I am completely useless on that front… Huge thanks in advance! 

In a side by side question I have 3 columns and 4 items. The first two columns contain items with text entry options, the third with a MC option. In the second column I just want to display the text entry field of the first item, the other 3 need to be hidden. ! How can I set-up this? Using JavaScript? Does somebody have an example?

There is only one question label which I would like to display in my survey do you know what should I add to this code “jQuery(“label”).hide();”.  Here’s below the question I’m working on : So to be clear I would like to hide the question labels of the first 5 items and let the 6th one visible do you guys know what should I add to the code : jQuery(“label”).hide();  Thank you in advance for your help :) 

Currently, when I export the results of my Qualtrics survey, the output file contains one row per unique survey taken (which in this context corresponds to one row per person). Each question in the survey appears as a new column on that row.However, to do the statistical analysis I need in R or Pandas, I need a dataframe with one row per observation. Hi all, I have created a blank survey in Qualtrics which represents an external survey which I want to have available in Qualtrics. I have been playing with the POST function in R from the httr package. But I cannot seem to formulate the script to get an accepted status code. The file itself has been formatted in the same way as the 'example' file was done, as suggested on this page: https://api.qualtrics.com/docs/import-responses If anyone has done this before in R, I would appreciate a hand. We want to set expiration in an anonymous survey link by calculating the Date wherein the survey was created (we have embedded data for this already) and the Date wherein the survey was taken. In the survey flow, we can use this code to get the current date, when the survey is being taken in Date format: ${date://CurrentDate/c} Then in the survey flow,  I can also replicate the CreationDate of survey being passed on thru query strings, so I can change this to Date format and be compatible with the Current Date Then I will need to use Javascript to calculate the difference between the two dates. Once I get the difference, I can use branch logic to end the survey if the time difference is more than 24h.Questions:Would you know which part in the Qualtrics account we can set-up this Javascript custom code calculation? Also, do we have a specific formula we can follow so Qualtrics can also recognize this calculation?

Hi All,I’m trying to add space between my MC text box entry options and I have tried javascript, custom css and html but it does not seem to work. I increased space to “60” instead of 10 in the following code nd tried to “no wrap” otpion as well. Highlighted what I’ve been tryin to change. Does not help does someone know how to fix the code in Qualtrics? Hello, Below is an image of the side by side question.   I would like to know if there is a way to make an answer choice exclusive in a table of this style. For example, if a individual selects “My organization does not offer me support” I would like to prohibit the selection of any other answers in the table. Additionally, is there a way so that the second column is only accessible to the respondent if they select a choice in the first column? For example, if an individual does NOT select “Offered” for “Peer Support” then they will not be able to select either “I utilized this support” or “I did not utilize this support”. Thank you! 

Hi All!I am looking to take our Relational Survey from a single event (1x per year) to a daily pulse out to our customers (meaning our customers would receive a survey invitation every 6 months based on the date they purchased one of our products and that process would run daily). The issue I am running into is a time based trigger in a salesforce workflow. I have set it up to use the Account object (where the original date of purchase is located).  I’m not sure what I should be entering in the “required field” (see screenshot below).Has anyone ran into a similar situation? Am I doing something wrong here? Any help would be greatly appreciated! 

Hello, there is a situation I have. I have a field where user enters  Order Date in YYYY-mm-dd format.   I save it as embedded data ‘orderDate’.  I want to build a filter where I can see a report for the orders I have for tomorrow. But how do I compare it to tomorrow? (I do have embedded data called tomorrowDate, also in YYYY-mm-dd format) . Can I compare one embedded data to another one? Thank  you. Or may be I can make my orderDate into ‘date’ type somehow? 

I have 4 questions on a page (the firs two are text/graphic while the last two are multiple choice). On load, I want the second question to scrollintoview. I learned (from this forum), that I can use jQuery(".QuestionOuter").last().get(0).scrollIntoView(); to automatically scroll to the last question on the page. However, I can’t seem to figure out a way to modify the code to scroll to the second question… I have used different integer indexes in get(), but those don’t seem to achieve what I want. Any help is appreciated!

The respondent might have 7 entries. So they should have an option of adding 2 rows.Is there any way to automate this so that if the respondent does enter something in this last "Other" statement, another row appears that says also says "Other (please specify)" with text entry allowed. Ie, so that if a respondent does enter something, they can enter something else in the new row, but so that not all respondents have to see multiple "Other" rows if they aren't going to enter anything.What would be the JavaScript for this type of question?  

I’ve some generic JavaScript code I’d like to add to every new question. Adding by hand is super cumbersome in case the surveys are pretty long. It would be helpful to be able to set a custom default JavaScript automatically for every new question which is added via the QX survey UI. Is there some feature which allows me to do that?
