Facing issues in linking qualtrics to the salesforce sandbox account

1. Under Tools section i am not able to see the "Setup link to the salesforce" option in salesforce. 2. Similarly, not able to select the salesforce in the task under action tab. FYI, my qualtrics account is an upgraded account. (Is it a paid feature ?)

Problems with Salesforce Response Mappings

Hi Mates, I ran into a problem where I don't know why this issue happens every time. Issue Description - My salesforce response mappings get null on its own every time when I logged in my qualtrics account. As as result surveys does not get created in Salesforce. I want to know why salesforce response mappings get null automatically. Please see the screenshot also. Any help will be highly appreciated. ! . Best, Aman

Is it possible to auto translate non-English responses to an open-ended question into English?

Is there any way to use some kind of web service call or other method to have Google Translate translate open-ended responses to a Qualtrics survey question(s) submitted in a language other than English and then add the English translation into that respondent's answer set in Qualtrics, or, less preferable, use an e-mail trigger to send an e-mail containing the translated version of the response to an e-mail address(es)?

Salesforce responses - is there a way to change the "Created By" field to be the Case Owner?

This is for a CSAT survey. I have my responses mapping back to the case and the contact record. However, since the survey response is owned by me (I linked the survey project to SF), we are not able to set security in SF on the Survey Response object so that case owners only see the responses for their own case. ie, it cannot be set to private, it has to be read-write all since for example, Case Owner = Tom by Survey Response Owner = me, so if private, Tom cannot see items created by me. What can be done as a workaround to let case owners see the survey responses tied to their case? I created a lookup on the Survey Response object for CaseOwner, but support was not able to give any other guidance about how to populate this back and use it within SF. Another issue this raises for us is when we try to trigger an email to the manager when there is a poor response to a survey, since the owner is me, my manager is the only one who gets emails. I am sure there has to be some sort of

Missing Data?

I'm attempting to insert piped text into an outbound email message that is triggered by a case closing in Salesforce. I have all the embedded data fields I need except for Case Owner for some reason? I'm able to go through and select the case owner name to store in a contact list if I want to: ! The name shows up as it is supposed to when I go check the contact list: ! But when I check my available fields for embedded data, all I get is the Owner ID field. I cannot drill any further to reach the actual name of the Case Owner: ! So when the email message is sent after a case is closed, it will say 00550000004RxjPAAS just handled your case rather than Julia Smallwood. Is there any way to get the actual name embedded? My outbound message currently looks like this: !

Did anyone succeed to link Qualtrics with Salesforce using a non system admin user?

Hi guys, Due to confidentiality concerns, we want to avoid using salesforce System Admin user to link QT and Salesforce. I contacted QT support and they told me that this is possible. The only needed thing is that the user should be granted access to API and access to objects that are used in response mapping. My user that I am trying to link with has almost the same rights as a system admin (except for some accounts records). But still, I am not able to link. I am getting an error telling me that the user has insufficient access rights. Could you please share any experience related to this?

Salesforce response mapping permissions error

In my Response Mapping, I am mapping to some custom fields, but I keep seeing this error message: "Error. SoapFault exception: [sf:INVALID_TYPE] INVALID_TYPE: sObject type 'permissiontest__c' is not supported. If you are attempting to use a custom object, be sure to append the '__c' after the entity name. Please reference your WSDL or the describe call for the appropriate names." The field shows up in the available fields to map to, but I still get this error message. What's going on?

Unable to View Data

So when I go to Tools->Salesforce->Trigger and Email Survey I get this view of all my needed Delta Contact information: ! But when I go to Actions->Tasks I get this view and I can no longer see the fields I need: ! What would be the cause of being able to see Delta Contact fields under one view but not the other? I want to build my email from the Actions tab since there I have the ability to set the link to expire after 24 hours.

Has anyone found an easier way to test changes to emails (for SFDC-integrated surveys)?

I recently updated my email templates for all of my surveys in 3 languages and it was kind of scary and a total pain. All of them contained some piped text (e.g. client name + some less frequently referenced fields from my relevant Salesforce object) and I also newly added that the emails should come 'from' a team member they've worked with at my company (also from Salesforce) rather than my generic client experience distro. I wish there was some functionality to more easily test that things would pipe in correctly, like I'm able to do--requires some creativity--when sending emails from Marketo. Has anyone found any best practices for testing that things will work correctly outside of triggering surveys in your Salesforce staging environment or uploading fake contact lists to check the mappings? (The latter doesn't even work for the Salesforce-integrated surveys, of course.) I have had some difficulties testing in staging for surveys that I integrated many months back, as the environme

Response Mapping settings when you're sending 2 contacts on a case a survey and either could respond

I have an automated survey that has been sending for several months to the main implementation contact on a case. And responses for it have been mapping to a survey response record we created for the survey in Salesforce. One of the items to map is a contact field for the survey respondent, which points to the API name for that contact field on the case. Now I am adding an additional workflow rule and an additional contact field (secondary implementation contact--set up just like the main implementation contact but points to a different Salesforce contact and isn't a required contact field) so that I can survey both of these contacts when they are both filled in for that case. But I've hit a snag when it comes to my response mapping. I need a way to create a condition to tell it when to map in the name of the primary contact vs. the name of the secondary contact based on who actually responded to the survey. Can anyone think of a clever way to tell Qualtrics via the Condition on t

"Invalid Email" Salesforce error

I'm using the Trigger and Email Survey to send out my survey from Salesforce, but whenever I try to trigger my workflow rule, I get the error "Invalid Email" in my debug email. I have the Email field selected correctly in my Trigger an Email, so what could be happening?
