Hello,I’ve already tried researching, but couldn’t find a solution, so hopefully someone has an idea for me :) I have created a QX workflow to import Salesforce Contacts from a Salesforce Contact list view to a QX Directory. These contacts will then be added to a mailing list. At the moment, the workflow is running every hour and imports new contacts, if there are any.There are also some other workflows like saving the responses in Salesforce and a customized opt-out link to save that information in Salesforce as well.Our goal is to distribute a feedback survey whenever a new contact has been imported to QX. Hi all, I am looking to add an audio (verbal) response time to a survey and I wondered if such a function exists on qualtrics. The basic set up isParticipant will see an image on the screen and will be asked to name the item that they see as quickly as possible (maximum amount of time 20 seconds) Participant will say aloud what the item is (such as tiger, popcorn etc) When the participant says the name of the item/speaks, qualtrics will ‘record’ when the participant begins to respond verbally. If such a function exists in Qualtrics would be great if someone could share? Many thanks

Hey y’all,I’m attempting to set up a survey for a research study that does the following: Collects general contact info (name, email phone) Utilizes an existing contact list containing ~500 unique ID numbers (under External Data Reference) to authenticate survey responses Imports the general contact info into the same contact list after survey completionMy current workflow keeps creating new records in the contact list instead of mapping the responses on to the corresponding ID numbers. {Trigger: Survey response completedTask 1: Extract responses from survey (name, email, phone number, ID number)Task 2: Add contacts and transactions to XMD using existing mailing list}Could it have something to do with my source and data project fields? Hello everyone,I am new here but I have been looking for a while now for a solution to the following problem.I have a question in the survey of the text entry type (single line with autocomplete on that draws from a supplementary data source). It has display logic based on a previous question that asks respondents how many items they use. They can select between 1 and 5, and then my text entry question asks them to choose the most used, 2nd most used and so on with a maximum of 5 questions for most used. The SDS has 700+ entries. I would like to make it so they can’t choose the same item twice. I know this can be done with either custom validation or the filter option in the “manage autocomplete”, however, it seems that I need to have a page break between these questions. I have disallowed free response.My question is how can I keep the “most used” questions in one page and make it so respondents cannot choose the same answer twice, without page breaks? I'm looking to make a questionnaire which requires participants to fill out multiple textfield responses and then rate each of their responses out of 5. I'm brand new to the Qualtrics software but in my mind's eye I'm envisaging a layout of the 'side by side' question type example (see picture), but instead of pizza chains, there will be empty text fields for survey users to fill out. Any help would be appreciated, thank you in advance.!

I would like to achieve the following:There will be two parallel groups of participants in a survey.The first block about demographics will be the same for everyone, the remaining four blocks should be randomly and evenly assigned to the participants. There would be two types of these four blocks, let's say A and B. If participants are assigned to type A, then they will only see blocks of type A and those assigned to type B will only see blocks of type B. In other words, after the first block the survey would split into two branches.Is it possible?

HelloI want to add a custom back button that only appears on certain pages. I would also like to count the number of times a participant clicks that button. I would like to basically give a set of instructions on one page and then see how many times the participant returns to check that page. What’s the best way to do this? Hello, In my survey, participants can fill out multiple questions based on what they choose in a multiple-choice question with multiple answer options through display logic. However, when they de-select after providing a response, they data is no longer captured.  Is there a way to preserve the data even though they deselected? It’s odd because when you select and deselect in the survey, the responses stay but they are absent in the exported data file. The responses are long form.  The ability to deselect and preserve answers will make the survey much cleaner.  Thanks! 

Hi all,I’m conducting a longitudinal within-person experiment which has 6 experimental conditions. In this experiment, participants are asked to complete a survey everyday for 6 consecutive days. In each survey, participants will be assigned to one of the six experimental conditions. In all, participants will complete all six experimental conditions in a random order, without duplication of experimental manipulation. Is there a good way for me to do this? Thank you very much for your help!

I want to use a form to manage a contact list.  I can easily ADD a record (contact) to the list and Edit one.  I can do this through a form to gather info (new or changed) and then use a Workflow to update the contact list.  BUT, I’d also like to allow the deletion of a contact.  Anyone have an idea of how to delete a contact using a Workfow?  If not delete, perhaps “Opt-out” for the contact (record)?  

Want- Visualization to help a stakeholder understand the response rate.  Background- We distributed our survey using the anonymous link option. We have sent out two rounds of survey invitations on two different dates, so far.Our email service provider sends out the emails to our customers so we don’t have the data for number of emails sent in Qualtrics.We DO have the invitation count from each of the sent dates available to import, if there is an option for it. Desired Solution- Widget in the dashboard to show the number of invitations sent during a filtered time frame  Current Solution- I am currently updating a rich text widget to be “total invitations sent” but it won’t be accurate if someone uses the date filter. (see 351 right widget in screenshot below)  Is there a way that I can manually set the different dates on which we sent the invitations? Example-Invitation 1, Jan 1: 210 emailsInvitation 2, Feb 1:  150 emails Filter on dashboard from Jan 1-31, widget =210 emails

Hello,I wonder if there is a way I can incorporate ChatGPT into a survey. The study I am running right now requires respondents to write a prompt to ChatGPT and we want to embed ChatGPT into our survey so that respondent can see the output generated by ChatGPT based on their own prompt.We have access to ChatGPT API and are just curious whether this is possible to do. If this is not possible, is there any other ways we can try to achieve our goal?Thank you very much!

Hi, I want to archive a few of the survey questions, not delete it entirely, so a YoY comparison can be done. However I’d like to be able to download the data from the data and analysis tab with the archive section in it along with the new question.Is that possible? if not, what is the solution to this?Thanks

Hey everyone,I have a question regarding automatic variable/question naming (left corner) in qualtrics. Is there a way to automatically give all variables in the same block the same custom prefix (for example for block 1 - questions about epilepsy - I need a prefix for all variables like epi_…, while for block 2 I need the prefix ms_...). I have a very large data set with about 60 illnesses (60 blocks) that I need to distinguish in the output data set. I saw that automatic naming is only possible for all blocks together but not for one block. I hope you have a suggestion on how to do this.Thanks in advance :)

Hello!I'm currently attempting to link a dashboard to a directory's segments list. When I initially click on apply filter, and select the directory, everything seems like it should work. However, I never actually get any segment ID's to be able to select, as it always continues to show "all" and only that.When I go in to the data sources, I find that "SegmentIds" comes up as "not mapped". If I attempt to add an additional data source for "Segments for POOL_XXXXXXXXXX", it auto-populates the SegmentIds and ContactId for the new data source, but when I attempt to Save, I get the following error:Failed to update dataset. {"error":"object did not pass validation","detail":"mapping for the given fieldId is already defined in the joinmap"}Has anyone been able to successfully filter any dashboards by directory segments, or have run in to this issue and was able to solve it?

Hello! We are having some issues with respondents selecting the wrong response option (multiple choice response is negative, but open text comments are positive). We would like to have a confirmation questions, fox example, customers who selected “Dissatisfied” in Q1, we want to have a following up question asking “Why are you Dissatisfied?”, and having the Q1 response being in the Q2 language, is this possible? Thank you so much!!

Hi all, I want my survey to do the following;1- I want participants to access the survey for 7 consecutive days and do not want the survey to be resetted (the following day participants take up again from where they stopped)1- Ideally I want the survey to provide different audio tracks (or materials) after each day, how can I do that? maybe set a timer that do not allow participants to continue the survey for 24hrs?Thanks a lot,Alessandro

When the respondent completes the survey, it loops back to the beginning and requires the responded to review the responses four times before it jumps to the end of the survey. How do I make it so it records the answers and goes to the end the first time through?

Hi, I have a question regarding matrix table multiple choice questions - for example if I have a question that asks for respondents to mark off at least one statement as ‘high’ from a response scale question (low, medium, high).   So for example either statement 1 - price OR statement 2 - utility OR statement 3 - look/feel have to be marked off as “high.  Is there a custom validation that could be built to confirm this case, that the response for example has at least one category marked as ‘high’ and no responses of without at least one ‘high’ marked off would be accepted?   

Hi In a matrix table item, is there a way to limit the number of ticks/choices per scalepoint? In a previous item, respondents are asked to list all examples they can think of of a specific category (e.g. "please list all Irish cities you can think of"). These answers are being carried forward to a matrix table (as statements) where they are asked to choose the top three for different categories (e.g. "now out of your answer, choose the three nicest", ".. the three biggest", etc.). I found a way to limit the number of choices/ticks per Statement ("Validation Type" => "Answer Range") but that is not what I need. I want to limit the number of ticks/choices per scalepoint (i.e. "nicest", "biggest"). Thanks in advance
