We are currently setting up a pulse check as engagement project. Meanwhile, we are also configuring SSO. Now I have few questions on the details of the SSO authenticator in the survey flow. If we do not tick the “Associate respondent with person by field” option, could anyone in the employee directory then access the survey after successful SSO?  Is it possible that the survey can be taken by some employee without prior adding them as participant to the project? If I understood correct, this would be possible if we use the anonymous link, send it from another mailing system than Qualtrics to all employees (so that they do not need to be added to the project) and have the SSO authenticator element without option  “Associate respondent with person by field” ticked. As long as the employee has a contact within the employee directory, it should be possible to start the survey, correct? The contacts in the employee directory do have custom metadata fields such as department. We have enabled

Hi,I’ve tried to add a “comparison” to the gauge widgets in Employee Dashboards.I would like to show the value of (let’s say) ‘Overall Engagement’ for the selected organisational unit and show as a comparison the respective value of the entire organisation.  Is there a way to achieve this? After not finding a direct way, I’ve tried to work with manually uploaded benchmarks. But I can only upload benchmarks for individual questions and not for the ‘categories’ (i.e. grouped questions). In the qualtrics documentation it says that this is intended behaviour and that the category scores will automatically be calculated by Qualtrics. But this seems not to be the case: For a gauge widget I can only select ‘individual question benchmarks’ a comparison point.Any idea of how to show such a comparision for a gauge widget in EX? Thanks!Manfred 

Hi XM community folks, in EX 360 surveys, I wanted to have your views on one of the use case - As we all know, that 360 assessments can be taken any number of times by the evaluators as long as the survey is open. This is the intended Qualtrics functionality for 360 product so that evaluators can make edits in assessments in case they want to. While I understand this is a very good functionality so that one can make amends to the evaluations when surveys are live, one of my client raised a concern stating that what if my subject scolds me the next day and then I go into the assessment and edit the assessment taking into consideration that he shouted at me. So as an evaluator for that subject, now I take it personally and I edit my response preferably changing my survey positive responses to negative for that particular subject. So shouldn’t in this case, we should have a feature in 360 where we have a choice to allow respondents to amend their already submitted responses or to not allo

CX has a dashboard only project type that can be created without living inside a specific project. Doesn’t appear as though something like that exists for EX, but I suppose we could create a blank project to mimic the capability.  Has anyone already done this or have an alternative approach? *side note for community admins - why no EX dashboard category to select from?

I am creating an exit survey and need to filter FOR 18 employee term reasons OR exclude over 20 employee term reasons PLUS I need to exclude temps, contractors and interns, certain pay groups and make sure the term date is within a designated time period. I cannot figure out how to combine filters (I tried “AND” and commas) on a single line in the automatic feed for the participant file. I need a way to filter for or exclude multiple codes of a single metadata field so I do not run afoul of the 20 filters rule. Is there a way to make this happen or do I need to generate a workflow that filters for these and creates a new metadata field to filter for? Any advice or information is appreciated. 

Hi I would like to have a table with the participants information in the dashboard, information like name, last name, email and so.i would also like to know if it is possible to have there the information of the users that have not reply. This is an EX proyect

We are trying to increase the participation rate for our exit survey. A lot of people check out, and some ignore emails sent to their work to complete the survey simply because they have other priorities. It'd be great to send the survey to both the work and personal email addresses on file, that way once the employee terminates, they still have access to the link from their personal email.

Hi all, Our client is using action planning for all teams in the organisation - that leads to quite a bit of activity in the platform and unfortunately not all users keep to the guidelines we provided on best practices. So now the situation is that some action plans are not “anchored” to the correct topic - e.g. some users correctly created that action plan “Workshop” as a custom topic, but some also simply clicked on any question in the dashboard and created the action plan under that.  At the moment, I see no way to change the topic an action plan relates to later on - nothing is editable. I also cannot find anything related to this in the documentation.  Anybody have any experience with this?  Thanks!

Hello everyone, I wanted to see if anyone had any experience with the Employee Benefits Optimizer (MaxDiff) to see if they were running into the same issue our team is running into. We are used to having a participant list within the employee engagement surveys where we could preload participants into taking the survey, but I noticed that MaxDiff does not have that type of ability. This makes it harder for us to track employee's metadata and in need of creating a contact list in order to have embedded data. Is this the only route to go or is there an easier way to perform this? Thank you!

I am trying to figure out how to give a singular user group the access to view the dashboard tab but not the data & analysis tab. We want to retain anonymity for our employees, but we need a higher level of reporting/dashboards for our HR Personnel.

Hello All,I have around 30 blocks of question and I have used table of contents but I don't want to use the TOC button as it appears on every page. I just want the previous button of the first page of each block should take me to First block.Eg: If I am at block 5th, it will take me from 5 to 4, I would like to avoid that and move directly to first block. Please can anyone suggest any solution for this.

HI team,  We conducted a Pulse check in December (ebgagement survey,) and the metadata / embeded data for our participants flows directly from Success Factors to Qualtrics. We had many participants without a manager ID , so we couldnt create the proper Org Hierarchy. Now we made the updates in Success Fcators, they were succesfully sent to Qualtrics, then we pushed the Update Responses with curent metadata but this is not picked up in the participant list. Why is that? Thank you  Livia Barilla

In my survey I allow users to give multiple responses (by changing specific field in Metadata). But when I create a Response Rate Table, I get in “Invited” column not how many times they could have possibly answered, but the number of unique users. Because of that Response rate is more than 100%. How do I get the correct response rate?I use lifecycle survey, so there are no custom metrics. In here it says that I need to “ to update the invited count”. If that’s the solution, than how do I do it? Please helpQtip: When using an Employee Lifecycle project with Multiple Responses enabled, your invited count may look different than expected. When respondents submit multiple responses for a Lifecycle survey, each response is included in the invited count along with the number of participants who are eligible to take the survey. In order for your widget to show new participants that were added, make sure to update the invited count.

I found on the support pages that the TimeOnSite field is reporting Spent time and Focused time separated by a pipe (|). I have tried many attempts to split this in the survey flow embedded data block, but nothing seems to work. ChatGPT and Bard also suggested to use Java Script in a text question or a calculated field in the survey flow, but those do not seem to be available options on the Qualtrics Employee platform. Has anyone had any luck with trying to separate TimeOnSite into two fields? We would like to use this field in dashboards to report on site intercept stats.Support Page 

Would anyone else find it helpful when looking at their dashboard to be able to see and export a break of a break and see more than one "one level below" per say in the same heat map filter?  We have many Directors, who have multiple managers under them, who have supervisors underneath them, but there isn’t an easy way to view this in the heat map when looking at a whole department or area.

Anyone can help me out to create use case scenario of EX-action plan.and what is the end result of action plan and how it works and their benifits in EX. Thanks&Regards,Sahana

Hello! This is a long shot. Our company uses the “consumer staples” benchmark for our non-manufacturing employee population in our annual engagement survey. Leadership would like to learn more about this benchmark included: How many companies are included Where are they geographically located Examples of the types of companies/names (probably not possible)I’ve been searching all resources and cannot find any information specific to this particular benchmark. Does anyone know where I can find this or have anything they can point me to? Thanks!
