Homepage displays different amount of collected responses

Hi, my Qualtrics homepage displays a chart with an amount of responses for one of the surveys I've made, however the amount of responses displayed in the graph does not add up to the actual amount of responses I've received. This is rather confusing to me and I'd like to know if there would be any option to 'update' the homepage graph to display the correct amount.

"Did you know"-box

HiDo anyone know if it is possible to add some kind of a "did you know"-box to my questionnaire? (Like https://www.freepik.com/premium-vector/did-you-know-icon-flat-style-banner-with-frame-bulb-vector-illustration-white-isolated-background-explanation-sign-business-concept_23773949.htm#query=did%20you%20know%20icon&position=6&from_view=keyword)I would like it to be on the right side of the questions and possibly to add display logic to it, as I have some looped parts, where it shouldn't be presented more than once.Perhaps it is possible to position a text/graphics entry next to (instead of beneath or over) a question?

Is it possible to share a report and include respondent uploaded images?

I am stuck on stupid here....isn't there a way to share a public report with that includes respondent file uploads that allowing the report user the ability to download the images?For example, I have a study that respondents need to upload an image, and the internal client (non-Qualtrics user) needs the ability to download the images. This is an ongoing study so a one-time download of the files is not ideal.Thank you for any ideas!Kara

display, logic, and randomization

Hi! I want my blocks to show up based on my previous answer choices, but meanwhile, I also want the blocks to appear in random order. For example, I have blocks X, Y, and Z. If participants select answers A and B of the previous multiple choice screening question, then only block X and block Y will appear to the participants. But beyond that, I also want block X and block Y to show up to the participants (who chose answers A and B) in random order. How can I do that? Thank you very much! Any help would be appreciated.

Validation but not force participants to change answers

Hi,I would like to add some validations to certain questions. But I do not want to force participants to change their answers if the validation fails. That is, I would like to remind them that their answers are not consistent with some criteria. They can change their answers if they want, or they can skip to the next question if they do not want to change their answers. But currently, adding validation forces participants to answer in the way required in the validation conditions. Is there an option to remove that enforcement?Thanks

Record every login to the survey

Hello I have created a registration survey to the employees with quote of xxx registrations per a date .For example , i have opened 3 dates and once i have met the quote of the 3 dates the user will get a message to try later The system keep on recording every user that login to the survey even though he cannot register .Can someone suggest ?Maybe there is a postponed option ...Thanks in advance

How can I track multiple incorrect attempts on the same question until correct answer is selected?

I'm using a multiple-choice question with six items, and only one is correct. So far, I've been able to use validation so participants can only move on to the next question if they select the correct answer; however, I would also like to get data on how many attempts it takes them to get the right choice. Is this possible?

Creating Overall Scores for different blocks and a total

Hi Qualtrics community :) I have a secret shopper survey that i am importing the data into Qualtrics. The survey has aprox 5 buckets of multiple choice questions. Some have N/A as a possibility. I need to calculate a score based on how many possible points are available per block and overall. What is the best method? Each question has a possible score of 2 points. I need to have these scores in a dashboard. Here is an example:INTERIOR80% (8/10)1. Was the floor clean? 2/2 Yes 2. Were displays clean? 2/2 Yes 3. Were accessory items pulled to the front, with no empty pegs? 0/2 No 4. Were demo phones working/live? 2/2 Yes 5. Was the music appropriate and at a good volume? 2/2 Yes 6. Were there any TVs present in the store and if so, were they turned on? (N/A if none present) 0/0 N/A

Response Editing

The Qualtrics Response Editing resource page Response Editing (qualtrics.com) says "Response edits will not be saved automatically. You must publish your edits for them to be reflected in your dataset."Is there any smoother way to edit the responses but do not publish them immediately. We are looking at a process so that if our team member is making certain changes to response, it should get saved but not get published till some approval happens in the background.

A calendar question that allows multiple date selections up to X number of dates?

Is there any question to import that is a calendar that allows date selection for up to a certain number of days?I'd need people to be able to select up to but no more than 6 questions.I checked the import question from library option and then I searched for Calendar but those options didn't look like a calendar (see screenshot)This is for an EE project if that matters. How safe is it to use in page display logic with force response?

Hi all,As the title stated, I'd like to know how safe is it to use in page display logic with force response. So far, the survey has been working quite well during testing both in the preview and in the data it receives, but I'm a bit worried with the message "in page display logic may behave unexpectedly with Validation Options". Modifying Piped Text

Hello,I am trying to modify the piped text that is derived from a previous question's options. Instead of including each choice's entire text which contains a description, I would like to have a shortened version in the subsequent question. Displaying a question after respondent answered a random number of questions

Hello,I am studying the role of fatigue in standardized testing. My survey has two parts: First I ask participants some questions, including how tired they currently are and how tired they think they will be after answering N math exam questions (where N is a random integer between 1 and 10, stored as embedded data).The second part is a 20-question math exam. As of now, the whole exam is in one block. Crucially, the order of the exam questions is randomized within the math block. This is what the flow looks like:And here is the math randomization:I want to ask participants how fatigued again once they respond to N of the math questions (the same N as before). The tricky part is that the math questions are displayed in a random order, so a priori I don't know which question will be the Nth one. Is there a math equation to combine NPS scores?

I have a competitive market intelligence survey and am asking NPS for a number of brand if the respondent has experience with the brand (awareness, usage, NPS). I want to see how my brand stacks up against "Premium" brands in total, for example, let's say my brand is Coca-Cola, and I want to see how my NPS compares to the combination of Pepsi, Dr. Pepper and 7-Up. If I were doing it in excel, I would export the NPS for Pepsi, Dr. Pepper and 7-Up and put them all in one column, then calculate the NPS. I want to know if I can create this calculation in embedded data using math equations so I can use the NPS in my Qualtrics data analysis.I think the logic would be something like Branch logic IF they answered Pepsi NPS, embedded data PremiumPepsiNPS = something + PremiumDrPepperNPS = something + Premium7UP = something. I recognize the problem is that I am creating a column longer than my rows of data respondents. Problem #2 is the base number. For example, the base for Coca-Cola may be som

Is there a way to use display logic based on email in more than one contact list?

Hi, I have three contact lists. In the survey, I will ask participants for their emails. I would like to show a block to those whose email is in the first contact list, another block to those whose email is in the second contact list, and the final block to those whose email is in the third contact list. Exporting Likert scale data to csv not working correctly

I have Likert scale data on a question on my survey:Please select you level of agreement for the following statements: (Strongly disagree – strongly agree)On the results page, the answers are correctly displayed, however, when I export to csv I have a mix of numbers, which are not even at 1-5 scale.I have exported numerically and have the same issue. How can I set embedded data for a scoring category?

Hi all,I'm having a bit of a problem with trying to get embedded data for a scoring category. To be more specific, I am trying to use embedded data and a math operation to double the total of a scoring category in my survey. I have followed the instructions on how to use piped text to do so but when I export my data report no numerical values are listed for the math operation. I have used every variant of the following code: ${ gr://SC_29RmIWJg6KFBGKO/Score * 2 }So, I have added the $e and {} and removed them. But, I still cannot manage to get the embedded data to calculate a value.Any help would be much appreciated!

How do you route in Survey Flow based on embedded data?

Can someone advise please? I would like to route my survey at a particular section based on embedded data... "Type" equals "UG" and for the survey to show question blocks. I would like it to ignore those what equal "PGT" and "PGR". I have tried to use branching but when i click Embedded Data in the branch it gives me Embedded Data >a blank box>Is Equal to>a blank box and no way of selecting the embedded data fields or pulling it through to match it. I typed Type and UG into the boxes but when testing the survey just ignores the questions when it should go to them. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Should I be using Piped text? Or should I just use question logic in the actual survey builder (which im doing just now but there are a lot of these that I need to add)?

Branch if embedded data field is not unique

Hi team. I'm wondering if there's a way to check existing survey responses to determine whether an embedded data value has been used previously, either by the same respondent or a different respondent.Essentially, could I ask a respondent to enter a unique username and then check to see if the username is already taken?If not, could I ask them to enter their email address and then branch depending on whether or not that email address is already in a particular directory list?Struggling to come up with the right search terms to locate an answer for this. Thanks for your help!

How to display a previous answer choice as a question?

Hello all!I'm creating a survey where one of the multiple-choice questions has 30 choices. Each choice is a photograph of an individual and participants are asked to choose the photograph they most prefer. I want the next question to be the photograph of the individual the participant chose because then I'm then going to ask them a number of questions regarding the individual in the photograph. Does anyone know how to do this in Qualtrics? How to display what the participant chose in one question as the next question? Thank you so much!
