Hi, thanks in advance for any responses! I’m building a survey to collect responses to AI-generated designs. On the first page, users will enter desired attributes of the designs, and my backend will generate designs based on user inputs. After the generation is completed, I send out a user-specific survey. Simply put, I need to create a survey for each user using the images generated for the user. I’m super new to Qualtrics API and would like to know if there is any template/reference I can go to. Hello,I have created a study that 50% of participants will complete on their computer and the remaining 50% will fill out on their phone.Now, I wanted to ask for help with how to use Custom CSS to ensure that the survey displayed on the computer screen appears in roughly the same size as an average smartphone screen. In other words, I want to limit the size of the survey on the PC screen to match the dimensions of an average smartphone display (while leaving the survey on the smartphone unchanged). I have tried using and adapting code from prior threads but could not get the desired result.Thank you so much!

When running the …/API/v3/surveys API call, I can easily see all of MY surveys as well as those where the owner has collaborated with me on.  As many others are doing, I have needs to get a list of ALL surveys that have been created in the system, not just mine.  I’m an admin and not a user of the user of the system and need to share this information with other software packages we integrate with.The last time I’ve seen this request was about a year ago, but with no good resolution.  I've then looked at the release notes and have not seen anything.Bottom line, this is another shot at asking the question to see if this is available and I have not seen the documentation for it, or if it is on the release radar.  If it isn’t available, we’ll have to build a kludge where the users collaborate with a service user who can run the API and get the information.  Not good!

I suspect an unusual request, but a respondent needs to allocate 100 points to certain attributes, so I was going to use a constant sum or a matrix constant sum. However, in one version of the question, respondents aren’t allowed to give the same answer more than once ie.they can’t answer 50,50, or,they can’t answer 25,25,50, or,they can’t answer 10,10,10,70 etc.etc. And in another version of the question, they aren’t allowed to give the same answer more than twice i.e.they CAN answer 50,50, or, 25,25,50 etc., but they can’t answer 10,10,10,70 or,they can’t answer 25,25,25,25 etc. Is this possible?

Hi, I’ve found code to change the color of the progress bar, however I was wondering if someone could provide a code that would allow the progress bar to move from one color to another based on the percent complete. For example, red > yellow  > green, red for the first 1/3, then it goes into yellow for the second 1/3, and finally green. Thanks!

Greetings to all, In my survey, I have a flatpickr calendar that I need help formatting the code for. I would also love if the code could automate so that I would not have to input new code weekly remove the time displayed on the calendar display more than one week in advance. I have an email survey which needs to needs to be sent to customers across many countries. Our company operates under different brands in some countries, which means we need to change the brand logo & colours of the button based on the brand name. So instead of creating multiple surveys for each country & brand (in that case I’ll end up with 100s of surveys), I want to create just 1 master survey and change the brand logo & button colours based on a parameter I can pass in the survey URL.Can someone please advise how I can do this? I’m experiencing an issue where checkboxes in matrix questions are swapping from horizontal to vertical when I zoom to 125%. When I zoom to 150%, it is converting to mobile layout. That is perfect!.Only issue in 125% zoom. I believe this issue can be resolved using media queries. Can someone please provide guidance on how to fix this?

Hi, I plan to collect device information from the anonymous survey link. Meta Info cannot work when using the anonymous link. Therefore, I tried to load the ua-parser java library (Here is the package link: https://github.com/faisalman/ua-parser-js/tree/gh-pages) into Qualtrics JavaScript. However, the function doesn’t work. After creating the import and checking the status, I get status = complete and percentComplete = 100. I passed in 100 contacts, but the total counts never add up to 100. Why is this? I verified that meta.httpStatus is accepted before polling for progress. Hi, I'm fairly new to Qualtrics (and have zero (0) knowledge about JavaScript) so here I am because I couldn't find an answer :,)Context:For my survey, respondents have to read 30+ vignettes. After each vignette, respondents have to answer 3 questions (which are the same for all vignettes). So each vignette + 3 standard qns have to be in a block.The presentation of the vignette-blocks will be randomised, but respondents must read & respond to all of them.Problem:Every vignette contains a fictional person's name. I have a list of fictional names to be presented to respondents, and would like the name displayed in each vignette to be randomised. (e.g., Respondent 1 would see 'Tom' for Vig.1 & 'Harry' for Vig.2; respondent 2 would see 'Harry' for Vig.1 & 'Tom' for Vig.2) Each name can only appear once per respondent.From my understanding, use of embedded data and piped text are the most efficient ways to achieve this. Hello, we need to put some disclaimer text to either the start of end of a survey, however given the volume of text and the fact that most people will be taking our survey via mobile, the ‘next’ or ‘submit’ buttons won’t be immediately visible on screen so I’m worried about dropouts.  Is there a way to move the position of the ‘next’ or ‘submit’ button so it’s either at the top of the question, or at least above the disclaimer text?

Hi all, I have a side by side question that looks as follows. It asks the reader to consider the text that is entered into a ‘locked’ text box, and answer two questions with reference to this text.  I wanted to amend the height of the text boxes so that they adjust to the length of the text - or at the very least, so that they are taller (i.e., as tall as the rows they occupy). Would this be possible? I imagine that this would involve some sort of javascript, however I am not too good in this respect, so any tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! Juan

Hello,I’m trying to get piped answers from previous single select questions to show up as follows:“PipedAnswer1, PipedAnswer2, PipedAnswer3,...”Currently how it is set up, this is how it looks like:“PipedAnswer1 PipedAnswer2, PipedAnswer3...” I need to be able to have the commas show up consistently, but only if a piped answer was selected. I currently have it set up as an array in JS like this below:And in the HTML of the question text, I have this entered: <div id=”pipe”>QIDs</div> If I was to select PipedAnswer1, PipedAnswer3, and PipedAnswer5, it would look like this:PipedAnswer, , PipedAnswer3, , PipedAnswer5, , ,  How do I get rid of the unneeded commas if the answers aren’t selected above? I made a small typo due to which more than 150 of my workflow tasks failed. I retried the tasks after correcting the typo but won’t update it and workflows fail again.  Any way to make it work? 

I have created a survey that will act as a language assessment and I need to add basal and ceiling. Specifically, out of 60 questions, I need the first ten to always be answered. At the 11th question, I need to move to the next survey block after 6 consecutive wrong answers - there are four answer options for each question. When an answer is correct, the number of wrong answers is reset to zero. For example, if I answer questions 11-15 incorrectly, but get #16 right, the count is reset. Can anyone help me with the logic/javascript on this?

I have a survey that has been running for months, and for part of it, it is constantly appending data to an embedded variable, which gets quite long sometimes (~100k characters). This has not been a problem until midday on March 11, when suddenly Qualtrics started truncating the embedded variable on subsequent responses (at least a dozen now). To reproduce this, create a survey with two embedded variables (say, test1 and test2), and set their values to long strings programmatically:Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.setEmbeddedVar("test1","t".repeat(50000));Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.setEmbeddedVar("test2","t".repeat(100000));For me, the var "test2" is recorded as 70,000 "t" plus an ellipsis "...".Is this an intended change? Or is this something to do with my account hitting a hidden data storage size limit or something?

Hi, Not sure if this is possible, but looking to set up randomisation in a block, but with a custom display %. We currently have a block at the front of a survey that contains 2 questions, and 2 pieces of static information (research T&Cs and Privacy notice). The 2 questions are currently being randomised using the native block randomiser to display evenly to each respondent. In reality, we need Q1 to be shown to 80% of respondents, Q2 to 20%. Aware you can set custom values within the native randomiser, but these are based on counts and not %. Ideally looking for an unmonitored solution as this would be utilised across around 20 surveys.  Not sure if the above is even possible with blocks, but thought I’d ask!  Thanks
