Qualtrics Logging and Proxy Access Analysis of Qualtrics logs is adequate for auditing purposes. However, a manual correlation of timestamps is currently necessary to distinguish between activities performed by legitimate users and those conducted via proxy logins. This is a consequence of the system recording audit trails for standard user activity and proxy usage in distinct log files. Consolidation of this information into a unified log event file would significantly improve efficiency and facilitate more comprehensive analysis. We have created a Qualtrics ticket for the same and got a came to know that  this functionality is currently not available in the Qualtrics platform.

I don’t understand why the EX response rate widget can’t be filtered by time. Makes no sense to me. It is showing response rate for the entire life of the survey. For ongoing surveys like onboarding and exit…seeing a response rate for the life of the survey is not helpful. My internal stakeholders want to know what our response rate was for a certain period of time (i.e. last quarter, last year, etc.) And, they want to see how response rates change over time, so we can evaluate distribution strategies, communication strategies, etc. They also want to be able to see if different populations have higher or lower response rates than others. I can filter the widget by all of my various metadata….but, again can’t see that over time. I’m having to spend all this extra time and energy manually calculating response rates outside of the Qualtrics platform. And, it isn’t an easy task. Because you have to try and merge data from the participant’s tab (which shows if they respondent or not) with t

We are interested in understanding if and how organizations are incentivizing employees for engagement and/or survey participation.

Hello Community,I am looking for a solution to restrict the hierarchy and participant list for admins within an engagement project. Background: We want to conduct a survey within the corporation, surveying different entities simultaneously within this project.Local HR personnel should have EX admin access to the project, but they should only be able to view and manage their own entity's employees in the participant tab, and similarly, they should only be able to view and manage their branch of the entire hierarchy.I am clear about the reporting in the dashboards through the roles tab; this inquiry pertains exclusively to participant management for admins within a project. Thank you.

Hello community,I would like to ask for your support in better understanding how dynamic benchmarks are generated in the tool from a technical perspective. Specifically, I have doubts about whether it is possible to generate them using a metadata field like "Business Unit" in lifecycle projects that do not have an active hierarchy. Is this something that can only be achieved through an organizational hierarchy? If so, it would limit its use exclusively to Engagement projects.Additionally, I would love to hear about the use cases you have implemented in similar situations. Any experience or advice would be greatly appreciated.Thank you in advance!

Has anyone had any issues with the self-reflection being available for some subjects, but not others? This is a relatively new problem we’ve come across, and it’s sadly really impacting our users’ ability to utilize their 360s. In the screenshot below you’ll see there’s no available self-reflection. I can verify that on the back end of things as well. Additionally, I verified that self-reflection is turned on within the project.

Hi *,setting:Survey with test responses. Try to update for the existing responses one exisiting open comment question with values. The import only with uniqueID and open questions was mapped and accepted by the system but at the end I get the message 0 of xxx are updated.I used the export of the data and shorten it to the two cols.Any ideas? Need more info?Thx

How can I remove the system message “You’ll advance to the next page after you complete each page”? Upon my search, previous threads say to change from using the “simple” layout, (which we’re not anyway) however using the new survey taking experience, changing the layout is not available.

Help! We’ve recently updated to the ‘New Survey Taking Experience’, which has automatically changed the “next” button to say “next page”. I’ve updated the next button in the look and feel, as well as each survey page settings, and in all previews it appears the way we want it to (just a > ), however in the live survey it appears with “Next page” text. Am I missing something?

Based on the new EX Lifecycle emails (https://www.qualtrics.com/support/employee-experience/creating-ee-project/messages-tab/message-automation-el/) functionality, it doesn’t appear to be possible to automate the scheduling and sending of project participation reminders.Previously I could schedule the survey reminder email, how many times the reminder would be sent, and how many days to wait before sending a reminder. All this functionality appears to have been stripped from this upgraded emails distribution tool.Does anyone currently use this on an EX lifecycle project with the legacy email distribution functionality?

I thought when I copied another survey engagement project, the dashboard would also copy. Is there another way to copy a dashboard from one survey project to another in EX?

Dear colleagues from EX,I hope you are well. I am reaching out to inquire if any of you have encountered a situation where, during the distribution of surveys via SMS, the sent history and consumed credits reflect successful transmission, but the message never reaches its intended recipient?I would greatly appreciate your insights and any suggestions on how to address this issue. Is there any additional step that should be taken to ensure that messages are delivered correctly?I look forward to your feedback and appreciate any guidance you can provide.

Managers are key to unlocking maximum team productivity and engagement, but today managers are overstretched and burned out. Their team may have gotten bigger, their responsibilities have gotten broader, and it's likely they are losing touch with their employees - especially those that work remotely. If managers can’t connect with or build trust or empathy with their team, it is a perfect recipe for disaster including presentism, attrition and low productivity - putting the entire organization at risk. This is why we developed the new Engagement Headlines widget. This new purpose-built dashboard widget provides managers with their own personalized engagement results in an engaging and simple layout, so they know exactly what they're doing well, and what to focus on for improvement. Curated insights automatically point managers toward the right actions, and integration with Idea Boards and Action Planning unlocks collaboration with employees to ensure action plans are aligned to team nee

Hi!I have a EX survey that i would like to distribute randomly every month and that previous users wouldn't retake it in at least 5 months. Do you guys have any ideas of how can i do this? Thanks!😊

Hello to the community, We have an onboarding survey sent to every new office employee across our organization for which we have built a dashboard. We currently have a participation rate table by country which gives us data on how many people were invited and how many people responded.I would like to filter that information by time periods (e.g. from Jan 1st to March 31st) so we can follow up on our hirings. However, I’ve noticed that data was not showing and read that time filtering was unavailable for participation rate table. Is there a workaround for this? I feel the data is so close to get, I would appreciate any recommendations on what I could do to have the information we need.

We’ve recently transitioned to Qualtrics and launched our EX Onboarding and Exit dashboards. We’ve found the filters, in particularly the hierarchical filters, not very user friendly and time consuming. Example: a team member in China wants to filter their report to show only “Beijing”. In the location filter they would like to search “Beijing” or jump to the “city” layer but can’t. Instead the team member needs to select each level of the hierarchical filter until they get to the level needed i.e. Region> sub region> Country> state> city. We’ve had immediate negative feedback on the experience from the HR community (“very basic looking, “needs a search” “Time consuming to not be able to jump the level and having to click through each level”). Has anyone come across a work around or better user experience they can suggest for hierarchical filters? We use these filters for our sup org and location in our onboarding and exit dashboards. We built the the meta data into hierarch

How did your company address potential survey fatigue?Did you limit the amount of surveys a single candidate would receive even if they had applied to multiple positions in a month? Curious if you implemented survey invite limits at the Screen or Interview stage at all. How many questions did you ask at each stage? Also curious if you surveyed Executive candidates, and if the methodology matched the normal invites for ‘regular’ candidates.

How can I customize the “Retake Survey” message?

Helo Everyone, I am trying to utilize the creating a new Employee Journey Analytics project from scratch so that i can combine my 2 engagement surveys (2022 & 2024) , my onboarding 90 day and my exit survey (4 total surveys) together to see how our lifecycle data compares to engagement and the EX25 KPI’s. I ran this a few times and I keep getting an error for too many rows. What have others used to set up and did you join data and aggregate also?  I know that joining data and aggregating data are two options and not sure if I'm setting this up correctly.  I used a main demographic “branch” that all surveys have.  below is the model I built and waiting for this to regenerate. Thank you!

Hello All, Is there any automated solution to export the data without any personal information like Email, First Name, Last Name?

Is there code to change the color of a next and previous button in a survey?

Hi team,  We added a translation of labels in our EX Engagement Dashboard, and it only took partially the name of sources in the translation. Even if we see in the file all translated fields, they dont reflect in the dashboard. We tried uploading the file more times, but it doesnt refresh the data. Is there some advice for this?  Thank you Livia B

Hi there, does any know if it is possible to do a query in TextiQ that looks for comments where the word “No” is the only comment people have made.  The client would like to add these to a “No comment” topic.  Many people just just written “no”.Thanks!

Hi,I’m using the Heat Map Widget on my EX Pulse Dashboard. We have meanwhile several waves of feedback. The ‘breakout’ columns of the Heat Map Widget respect the page filter (e.g. data source = May wave). The first column (comparison column) does not respect the page filter. This leads to the situation, that the results across ALL WAVES are displayed in the first column. The explanation text in the widget configuration window states that this is “intended behaviour” (=all data sources will be used). My question:Is there any way to filter the Heat Map Widget by the data source?I only want the data from the May wave to be used in this widget.  Using the widget filter didn’t work either …Thanks!Manfred

Hi everyone,I’d like to hear about your experiences using Qualtrics' Text iQ for analyzing open-ended responses. In our case, we rely heavily on comments as one of our richest sources of qualitative insights.Has the built-in sentiment analysis been sufficient for your needs? Or have you found it necessary to complement it with external tools or manual coding to get a more complete understanding of the data?Any examples or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
