Hello community, I imported a JSON file with a topic and some words, and it was successfully imported. However, when I reviewed and published, I encountered the following error. Can anyone help me? 

Greetings XM Community!I’m using the survey platform to create a form.  I need to be able to fill it out and then send it to two individuals for approval signatures.  I’ll need to repeat this process for various programs.  From the research I’ve done I can send the survey to myself to fill out but need to know how I can forward the completed form so my signers can see the data I entered and sign off.  It appears a workflow can accomplish this?  Or does it have to be JAVA?  I really want to use the platform and not have to default to a Word document or Google forms.I am attaching a copy of the form (had issues getting the QSF)If there’s an article where the answer already exists please post it - I found a few but nothing quite like what I needed.As always, you all are the best!!!

How do I reduce the space between the Form label and the answer box. Going to inspect, the only element(?) that highlights the label and the space is - there's no class for the label. (Also, I'm not sure if it makes a difference but the answer boxes have an autocomplete list attached to them.)Thanks

Hi everyone! Thank you so much for accepting me. I have a very difficult question so it seems, so contact support and our brand ambassador suggested I’ll pick your guys’ brains! So aim of my specific survey question: I want the respondents to score 200 items/statements on a 1-9 Likert scale. I have a label for the values 1, 5 and 9. I wanted to use a regular matrix, BUT I need the possibility to add a comment to every statement (something the respondent wants to add for example). So I made a side-by-side matrix, but there I cannot add labels to the values 1, 5 and 9. I can add the text right before the number, but then the columns of the different values are not the same width (which would mean a bias in the answers). Aim: to have 9 point Likert scale for every statement, with a label for 1, 5 and 9 and a possibility to leave a comment with every statement. So do you have any ideas? Is there a possibility to add comments section in a regular matrix?  OR can I add another row above the

As a part of my research. I am doing two conjoint studies. An example of one is shown below. I have to do it manually to have control over the choices created. I used the multiple choice option Qualtrics. I made the table in the question section and the Option are the multiple choice options.  My Question is: Is there anyway I can create this table in Qualtrics and have the select buttons inside the table? Currently these buttons are outside the question area as options of multiple choice, but I want to create it inside the table (so that a button “Purchase” would be inside the table) and when respondent clicks it, it records an answer.  Any help would be appreciated! I think some JavaScript is needed but I am not sure how to do it.  Thanks 

Hello,Does anyone know how to calculate approximate age using the following side by side question design in the simple layout using Javascript? i.e., Assuming all respondents are born in the middle of the month.The question asks for the month and year respondents were born, but not the day/date they were born. 

In employee engagement dashboard on using heatmaps, long labels are not appearing completely in column and name appears with like Department 1…. So it is not user friendly to take screenshot. How you handle this.

As part of our Annual Engagement Survey we are struggling to download the full of action plans from managers including not only the items but also the details and comments from each action item.Is there any way to do this?If not, is Qualtrics planning on adding this feature soon?Thank youHernan Geldstein

Hi all,I am new to Qualtrics. I am setting up questionnaire with Qualtrics for the first time.My survey is for 400 participants with multiple quota set up.We are using another research entity for distribution.I haven’t properly had a talk with them yet. According to the phone conversation, I am supposed to share a link where they can monitor the quota. They will keep distributing the survey link to the target population until the quota is reached.I don’t know the link they are talking about. How do I share the survey quota without sharing the survey data. Thank you in advance.

Does anyone know the simplest 'html view' code for hover and/or hyperlinked tooltips in Qualtrics question and multiple choice answers? I am also not sure if something needs to be in the survey's ‘Custom CSS’ box in Look and Feel > Style. For instance, I want when someone hovers over “Try this one out.” for this text to appear: “I am a tooltip that provides more details about the term you clicked on.” I read all the other tooltip posts on here, Youtube, and asked Qualtrics support and could not get an answer that worked. Hi there - I’m doing a research survey that participants should answer only on days that they are working, presumably M-F. I also want them to only answer this for 10 workdays.Whether or not the previous survey was completed, I want them to receive a daily nudge (on workdays) to do that current day’s survey.Each daily survey is the same (same link to the same survey). I am collecting their email address, so sending out the email and embedding the survey link is the easy part. Yet I can’t figure out how to set this up so that they get an email reminder regardless if they have completed the previous day’s survey or not, how I make sure it only goes out 10 times, and how to ensure it goes out on weekdays only.People will be starting the survey on different dates, so I can’t just schedule using the calendar. Ideally, this will all be entirely automated, as I expect a few hundred people to do the survey and I’d rather not have a manual process to get each person up and running. Any ideas? Hi everyone,I need help with dynamically displaying a future date in the choice text. Specifically, I want to take the current date, add 30 days to it, and display the result in the format "April 6, 2025" (i.e., full month name, day, and year).The challenge is that this date appears inside each choice text of a bipolar matrix question with two scale points (two columns with respective radio buttons). I’d like to automate this so that I don’t have to manually update the date each time I run the survey.Does anyone know how to achieve this using JavaScript? Thanks in advance!

Is there any way allow a date and timepicker in a form question type please?I think there could be a way using Javascript or Flatpickr but I am still lost looking at the documentation as I’m not technically trained.

Hi there,I have 15 photos of women, 15 photos of men, and 30 sentences describing actions. I need to create randomized pairs where a photo is displayed with a sentence below it, and participants will evaluate the person depicted using a Likert scale. Participants must see all 30 pairs. The problem is that if the photo is of a woman, the sentence needs to be adapted to the female version (e.g., "She brushes her teeth every night"), and if the photo is of a man, the sentence needs to be adapted to the male version (e.g., "He brushes his teeth every night"). Each sentence can only appear once — either in the female or male version, but not both.Participants should not see any repeated photos or sentences. I want the pairs to be randomized so that any photo can be paired with any sentence from the set. Additionally, I need to record which photo and sentence were shown for each evaluation in the dataset.What approach can I use to achieve this?

Hi experts, I am thinking about the code the survey with javascript and html in order to re-direct the “next page” button. How to do that for a simple example?  The question in the page is: do you want to upload more items? There are two choice: one is yes, the other is no. If the answer is yes, the “next page” button will go to a block named “uploading block” If the answer is no, the “next page” will go to the block named as “exit block.” I understand it can be done with a built-in branch function. But I need to learn to do it in this simple example. So that I can build more complicated ones later on.

The EX product doesn’t include many solutions for a ranking question in the survey builder. Has anyone managed to use alternative question formats to achieve a ranking question? I tried Form Field but I’m unsure how to set the custom validation so that each field has a unique value between 1-6.

Hi all! I added a custom drag-and-drop function to my questions (finally). I want to save what the final position of the dragged images looks like, and it would be ideal if I could save it as an image. One way I saw this is that I could save the image as base64 encoding and decode it later to get the image. I can do this in console printing, however it won’t save as embedded data to my survey. I have the HTML code, JS code (which is where I set up the image saving), and the error below. I’m having a devil of a time getting Qualtrics engineers to engage on a non-functional Vanity URL setup.  Is anyone else having a similar issue & if so, may we coordinate? Right now, my institution can’t really use Qualtrics Surveys properly. I know that research and assessment uses will quickly stack up & you’d think a situation where the product isn’t working - would get more attention. 🤷🏼History: I started a ticket in November when our Vanity URL setup failed.  There was robust discussion between someone within Qualtrics & my Sysadmin (all passed through me and another local Qualtrics Admin) that was mostly a repetition of Qualtrics saying “do this...”  with the reply from my sysadmin “yes, I did that, here’s the error..”   And a return from Qualtrics that was basically “do this… “  (over & over.)Largely due to December outages, the ticket then languished in that no-solution land - and was closed without resolution.  I began again in January .. with a 2 hour tech s

Hi, I have two surveys set up for longitudinal research. I successfully created and link two surveys, survey A captures data and saves to contact list. survey B uses authenticator to retrieve data from contact list where I have default choices in survey B the original answers submitted in survey A. The issue I have is when a user takes survey B and updates a response the embedded data is updated but if I were to take survey B again, I would expect the default choices to update to the updated embedded data. However, it keeps the choices from the initial submission in survey A

Hello everyone,I am trying to hide the question number for a specific question in my Qualtrics survey. I've tried setting the question number to blank, but it still shows a dot (.) when taking the survey. I also tried using custom CSS with the following selectors:#QID49 .q-number { display: none !important;}However, it didn’t work as expected. After inspecting the question, I found that the ID displayed is QR~QID49~SDPVALIDATION, and the QuestionText BorderColor is part of the class.Has anyone encountered a similar issue? What’s the correct CSS to completely hide the question number for QID49 in my survey?

Howdy, super smart people!I could not find if this had already been answered, so I hope this isn’t a repeat.Problem:  I have my customers bucketed into tenure groups (e.g., 1-6 months, 7-12 months, 13-24 months,...) and it works great.  However, I now find the need to create a few buckets that overlap the current ones (e.g. 10-14 months) to capture their renewal experience, but i also don’t want to lose the 7-12 months and 13-24 month buckets.  Does anyone know how to do this?  I know I could create a second bucketed groups, but I am hoping there’s a way to simply allow these to overlap in the current bucket.Thanks!
