Hello, I have a survey that has 30+ embedded data rows. I am defining each of these data points in an intercept that has 4 creatives defined as 4 action sets. Each creative is using the same values. (Yes, I found out that I can copy an action set and the copy will carry the embedded data definitions.) When it comes to viewing  the embedded data values, it is very difficult because the width f the boxes that the Qualtrics UI offers is too small - I cannot see the complete values. All this manual and visual checking is extremely slow and error-prone. I cannot even make a screenshot and grab the text because the full values are not visible. Editing is as cumnersome as the viewing. I am looking for a more efficient way of viewing, entering and editing the embedded data instead of using the form provided by the graphical UI. Any export to Excel and import back? Maybe a text editor?

I’d like to track the time each respondent spends on each randomized block individually, regardless of the order in which they appear.I know that Q_TotalDuration can track the total time spent on a block when it’s shown in a fixed order. However, I’m unsure if it’s possible to accurately track time spent on each block when the blocks are randomized.Is there a way to capture block-level timing data for each randomized block? Ideally, I’m looking for a solution that would give me a separate timing metric for each block, even though the blocks are presented in a random order. 2. Hello everyone, I want to do a study on qualtrics. The study consist of 12 rounds. In the study, 1000 ECU guaranteed payment will be made to the participants for each round. The participants will spend the quaranteed payment and the income they get from some tasks (slider task). I have provided slider task and calculating the earnings from the sliders. But I could not code the guarenteed payment for each round. How can I do that?Thank you in advance.Best.

Hi - I’m hoping someone can help… I’m new in my role and oversee the entire Qualtrics program at my company. I’ve gone through and done a complete audit of the customer facing survey questions and all of the embedded data across all of our surveys. But what I’m beginning to see is that there’s an inconsistency with workflows that are triggered by survey completion, NPS group, etc. For example, some survey completions trigger a thank you email, others don’t. Some trigger a follow up email when an open field under detractor is completed, other surveys don’t. My question… is there a way to press a magic button, that allows me to extract all of the surveys that have workflows? And then, to see what the messages say and to whom they go? Thank you in advance for your shared wisdom.

For drag and drop ranking questions, how can I use custom coding to modify the text of the rank numbers that are displayed?For example, in stead of the digits 1, 2, 3, I would like to have the following labels automatically displayed: “Best”, “Intermediate”, “Worst.” Is there some javascript code that will do this? Thanks.

Hi!I have seen this question asked multiple times on this forum, but I could not find a definitive answer. I would like to have the rank order question in the drag and drop modality, where the items are displayed horizontally. I know this problem needs some custom code, which I cannot seem to figure out (even with chatGPT). I want to call the Create a New Response API to create survey responses from my application (https://api.qualtrics.com/f1cad92018d2b-create-a-new-response). I don’t see a way to add embedded data to that request. Is there a way to create add embedded data with a survey response creation request, or am I required to send a subsequent Update Response request (https://api.qualtrics.com/daed82306b1ea-update-response)?

I'm running a survey and I'm looking to record or save the link/URL through which respondents enter using embedded data. I checked here but when I try adding embedded data in the survey flow, I can't find the options (current page URL, time spent on site, total visited page count) that seem to be available for actions.

I am editing the survey flow currently to create an embedded data variable for eligible/ineligible participants. At the end of the flow, I have those who meet ineligible criteria (0) show a separate end of survey message (pictured). I, however, want participants to advance to the end of survey message as soon as a criteria of ineligibility is met in the survey flow. Any suggestions? 

I would like to create a new set of users in the organisation to be able to access reports / data pages but not be able to create new projects or edit existing ones. Is there a predefined user type for this purpose, or is there a way to create this type of user?

Hi everyone,I'm working on a project where I redirect participants from a Qualtrics survey to a Shiny web app for additional data collection. After participants complete the Shiny survey, I want to redirect them directly to the end of the Qualtrics survey for completion, bypassing all previous questions.What I've Tried:Implemented Embedded Data (returnTo=EndSurvey) and applied branch logic in the Survey Flow.Current Issue:The redirect keeps taking participants to the first question instead of the end of the survey. I want to ensure the survey ends and submits the response automatically when redirected from the Shiny app.What I'm Looking For:Is there a way to force complete a survey via a URL parameter? Should I be using a termination block or another approach in the survey flow?Any insights or suggestions would be highly appreciated! I have 4 onboarding surveys and I want to show response rate of all in combined dashboard. But I am only able to show number of responses. How can we display the participation summary. It is EX lifecycle.  

If I export the data in excel or csv without selecting “Split multi value fields into columns” and can I upload this into SPSS and run the analysis. just custom tables with stat testing that what I need. Can anyone let me know what are pros and cons.  There is a option to download as sav format, “Split multi values into columns” option is not displayed for this format and one more thing is that, recode values are not in sequence. It takes time to fix this. Hope someone can answer it.

Hello! I am trying to have one of my questions a freeform drag and drop (e.g., participants will move icons on a screen) and I want to save either the final image or the coordinates of the icons. I only want 2 of the items to move (imagine there is a square, and the icon for ‘lunch’ doesn’t move, and you move an icon for ‘breakfast’ and an icon for ‘dinner’. HI AllI am hoping you can help me with this. I am running a project for UNICEF and I need to do the following:CONTEXT: 6 months ago, pregnant mothers visited the hospital and provided their phone number which is a unique ID. So now - I have volunteers that will call pregnant mothers who previously came to the hospital for a follow up about their pregnancy. Step 1: Every time a volunteer starts my survey, the survey has to retrieve one of the mothers’ unique ID aka phone numbers (randomly without replacement) and show it in the survey so that the volunteer can make the call. Step 2: The phone numbers is stored in a Google Drive in Sheets - the survey has to pick mothers who have not yet been called. The status has to change to “In Call” when the volunteer starts call. Otherwise the status is empty.Step 3: After the volunteer speaks the mothers, the volunteer fills out more data in the survey. I am attempting to create two separate end of survey message prompts dependent on eligible and ineligible responses. Participants are directed to their respective End of Survey message depending on eligibility, however, the branching does not do this- it only shows the eligible end of survey response regardless of the branching structure. There are questions throughout the survey that screen out for ineligible responses, so I am trying to 'screen out' those responses on the survey by sending them to a separate 'end of survey' message. When I go through the survey flow, I created a conditional branch to screen out responses, but when I preview it to test the ineligible responses, it still sends it to the 'eligible end of survey message' - How do I fix this? 

Hello,  I use a lot of multiple choice questions that have an other open-ended box that I would like to limit the character count.  This javascript has been working great but does not appear to work in the “new survey experience.” The documentation on “new survey experience” from Qualtrics indicates custom code may not work but does not specify how to adjust it to have it work. I also attempted calling in Jquery in the header with no success. Hi,I have an EX engagement program, and I want to give some users access to the dashboard.I added them as Participants, but that also enables the flag "Respondent".I can't seem to find way to remove that flag and indicate that they are not a respondent, but just a dashboard viewer.Can anyone help me?

Hi,I have a survey with a ‘lab.js’ screen included in it. The results from that screen are extracted and stored in a Qualtrics Embedded data field. When I view the results within Qualtrics I can see that all the ‘lab.js’ data is there but concatenated into a single cell. When it is downloaded some of this data has been truncated. I have tried to reformat this data within Qualtrics using Piped data and Javascript. I think that because it includes numerous quotation marks the Javascript is getting confused and my Javascript variables do not get populated when I try to copy the embedded data into them. I have tested that I am able to display the whole concatenation within an HTML tag on a later question screen, so I know the Piped data is accessing the right field. I am only interested in a few items at the end of the concatenated embedded data that are missing from the truncated downloaded field. Is it possible to increase the size of the downloaded embedded data? If not, is it possible

Hello everyone,I have a question regarding the availability of paradata within a survey.Recently, after finishing a survey, it was found that I was required to make a question non forced for a response. That is, the correct answer was not to select any option from the multi choice. Yes, its ridiculously stupid, I have been beating myself over it :((I was wondering if Qualtrics logs the error message pop ups or the key strokes for each question, for each participant, as paradata per haps? I was not able to find a conclusive answer to this. I have not added any sort of custom code to the survey.If that’s not the case, is there any other way to tackle this problem?Thanks for the support.Best,
