Hi all, I'm trying to create a Peer Review Process to my department products, here is the scenery:1. A Lead Production from our team will fill out a survey about a product (e.g., name, audience, link to the material…), we are going to have several products entries.2. The Reviewers, in another survey, will selected a product from a list, once the product is selected the survey will display the information about the product collected from the Lead Production survey. With this information displayed the Reviewer can start taking the survey questions.Does anyone know how can I approach that?thanksMatheus Cezarotto

I'm trying to find an elegant way to update attributes for a subset of the records in a list.For simplicity, say a list has 100 records with many attributes, one being FriendOrFoe.I have the reference ID for 20 of those records that I need to add or change the value of FriendOrFoe. Some of the 20 already have the attribute, but some don't, so it would need to be created for them.Can I create a .csv file with the reference IDs and the value of FriendOrFoe of that list of 20 and "update" the list, without having to export all 100 records and replace the entire list?I certainly hope the answer is "Sure, and here's how...".Thanks!

I would like to send personal links to a survey so that the results are recorded, but I would like to give the user the option to change their answers anytime later(days, weeks, months later). I need the personal link to remain the same as the url will be accessed using a web page login our team is setting up. So in summary from the user perspective, they login into our page, click a link to access their personal survey link and leave. Days later they can go back to our page, login and change their answers. Can this be done?

I created a survey in to represent a quarterly check list for several locations. I would like the results of each survey in the form of a pdf that will be in the same layout as the survey. I do not want an excel spread sheet or a graph report of my surveys. Simply one PDF per survey that perhaps can be auto emailed to me once completed. Please assist.

Hi, I am a total Qualtrics newbie and was hoping someone could help me out of my despair. I am trying to build a 2AFC task in which images are randomly presented to the participant. Before each image is shown, the participants should see a fixation cross for 250ms, followed by one of the randomised images that is presented for 300ms. Only after one image has been presented does the participant get the see the question for 3sec. I thought I might use the loop & merge function, but I am running into multiple issues:When I insert the image HTMLs/URLs in field 1 (only the images, so no fixation cross yet), I actually cannot see any images when I preview the block. I've tried several things, such as putting the piped field1 in a HTML img tag () in the HTML text view, but also in the normal text view. Or using either URLs or HTMLs in field 1 of the loop & merge function. Nothing seems to work :(. I've attached an image of m

Dear Qualtrics community :) I am conducting a survey when participants are randomly assigned to one of 12 different conditions.The study will be held in Stimuli - Emotional response - memory test - Stimuli - cognitive response - Stimuli - manipulation check this order,and I want to know how to re-show them the same photo to answer further questions. I used randomizer for the first exposure, but I can't figure out how to make sure the participants are shown with the same photo again in a survey flow.Are there other ways thanput the whole thing in a same block and create 12 blocks of survey - then randomizeUse the display option - show 1 if 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12 is not displayed before (?) or 1 is displayed before?

Hello! I am hoping the community minds here might have a solution to our issue. We have a standard question that we need to use in many evaluations for evaluating knowledge before and after education. The question itself LOOKS amazing and we get very high response rates on it because its so easy to fill out. HOWEVER - the problem is that when we go to do the reporting for these questions, we have to manually download the numbers for the before and after and then calculate the statistics, and then make a custom format to put them together in an executive-friendly manner. So all of this work is rather taxing on the reporting side, and I am trying to see if there is any way that I can improve the process. Do you guys have any thoughts? Changing the question type, an easier way to calculate the stats, an easier way to do the reporting - I'm all ears! :-)I have included a question and the reporting example below to make it easier to see what I'm talking about.Questi

In my survey, I have two multiple-choice multiple selection questions, followed by a third question where I want to be able to carry forward all selected choices both from question 1 and from question 2. For example:Among these players, where do you normally shop in physical retail stores? (20+ answers)Among these players, where do you normally shop online? (20+ answers)Among the places where you shop, how familiar are you with their offerings of product X? (Likert table where first column should have all selected choices from 1 and 2)Currently (as far as I know), I can only carry forward from one of the two questions. Is there a way of doing carrying forward from multiple questions into one?

Hi,I have a strange problem in my survey.I uploded 2 Videos (in diferent blocks), and when the participants enter the survey through the computer the videos work fine,but when the participants using a cell phone to answer the survey, the videos stop after 20 and 30 seconds and doesn't continue. If they press the play button, it's just go back to the start of the video.I couldn't find an answer to this kind of problem in the cummunity, I really appreciate if you could help me solve it.

If one respondent starts  a survey only once, it should exit only once (and not twice) . Correct?Suppose I have email trigger(s). An email trigger only clicks (i.e. triggers) on a survey exit. So, only one triggered email message should be sent out.Now, if I have two or more email triggers, only one triggered email message should still be sent out. Because the survey will still exit only once. When testing, I occasionally noticed the following very odd behavior: Another (second)  triggered email message is sent out 10-30 minutes after the first is sent out. Even though one respondent has started a survey only once.I believe that the composition of the survey flow should not matter, but I will provide some details, just to be specific. So I sometimes use the suggested topics tool in text analytics, mostly for when there is no pre-established library I can import. Sometimes they suggestions are good; sometimes, I just stare and wonder where the name came from. But that's okay, as we an rename them. But one thing I sometimes see is that two or more suggested topics have VERY similar keywords, and I'd like to combine them; not as a parent topic, but just a single topic. Is there anyway to just quickly combine two topics that way?

I had to create two separate surveys for a research project (one for parents/one for educators) and I need to compare data from the two surveys. Is there a way to do that?

Hi all,I am looking for a solution that allows a question to pass a numerical validation condition if there is also a space in the question. For example, the following question:How many employees does your organisation have?If I write an answer such as 40, but with a space in front or after the number, the validation won't pass. Hello all,I am working on a survey with 150 multiple choice questions for a research project and I am trying to find a way to export the data so that it will tell me what the participant chose and what the expected answers for that question were. As an example let's say I have a multiple choice question with possible answers A, B, C, D, and E and I expect the participants to choose either A or B. If three participants each respectively choose answers A, C, and E I would like to be able to export the data in a way where I can see in the data that only the first participant chose an expected answer and the other two did not. Currently, I can only get qualtrics to output the received responses without any indication of whether it was one of the expected responses or not. The idea is similar to have qualtrics report if a test taker answered a question correctly or not, which I also have not been able to get to work. Thank you for your time and assistance.Virgil

I have a survey set up with a couple of descriptive text items that display/don't display based on some logic and some quotas. I'd like to be able to export this information in the data export. Qualtrics support advised that I check the settings to recode seen but unanswered questions, but this isn't working for me, I think because these are descriptive text, so there is no possible input from the respondent.Any clever ideas on how to set this up differently so that it comes through in the export? I'm also planning to submit this as a product idea.

How can I prevent a respondent from assigning the same ranking number to multiple items in a rank order text box?

I know i can export a distribution history for a particular survey but is it possible to export the personal history from a contact list to capture any emails sent specifically from the contact list itself ? I can view the individual history per contact but I can't seem to find a way to export that detail

Hi there,I have the following problem within my survey structure:My survey participants have to type in a value in € (Text entry) - two questions later I want to give a further information, where I would like to automatically calculate the value, they have provided to me, multiplied by 0,8 (to get their inserted value minus 20% less).I know that there is a code, to query an inserted value: ${q://QID17/ChoiceTextEntryValue} - but I do not know how to correctly adapt the code to multiply the TextEntryValue by 0,8. First question: do I have to adapt the question type (I was using the Text entry option)? How much time does Qualtrics take to resend the emails which were bounced on the first try?Example: I have sent a survey invitation via email to say 100 people and 10 of them got bounced back.Is there a way to know whether they were hard bounces or soft bounces?Also, I saw on the Qualtrics support page that, Qualtrics retry sending the emails after a while which got bounced earlier. Anyone know the time period or when does Qualtrics resends the bounced emails?
