How much time does Qualtrics take to resend the emails which were bounced on the first try?Example: I have sent a survey invitation via email to say 100 people and 10 of them got bounced back.Is there a way to know whether they were hard bounces or soft bounces?Also, I saw on the Qualtrics support page that, Qualtrics retry sending the emails after a while which got bounced earlier. Anyone know the time period or when does Qualtrics resends the bounced emails?

Hi, I wonder the following survey logic is possible.In a 7 points Likert scale question;if participants select over 4 point (e.g., 5,6,7), they will be branched to "block 1" or "2" randomly and evenly,else if participants select under 4point (e.g., 1,2,3), they will be branched to "block 3" or "4" randomly and evenly.

Hi there, I have tried to add an 'information sheet' at the beginning of my survey, however the site wont let me save it as it 'exceeds 20000 characters', I tried shortening it to two text boxes but it wont even accept a sentence. The writing I'm adding is only 11,000 characters long so it should be accepted. I thought it may be formatting so I changed it all very simple, that didn't work, I thought it may be the hyperlinks but when i removed them it still wouldn't accept the text. I even tried the old turn it off and back on again!Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!Thank you 😊

Hi all,I made a free account a while ago, but I recently discovered my school gives access codes to Qualtrics for survey design. My free account trial will expire in 7 days. How can I make sure I don't lose the data on my free account? Can I just give the access code after the expiration date and keep the free trial account to continue my work? Thanks in advance.

I have some questions about creating hidden variables, setting up quotas to ensure I don't collect more than I need, and also to ensure ratio of Group A, B is even when I randomly assign them to rate one of the product concepts. Let’s say there are two subgroups I want to create; I also want to set up a quota on each of those subgroup on the backend. Lastly, I want to test 4 product concepts, but will randomly assign 1 of the 4 to each individual. For example, Q1. Dear there,I have 5 blocks randomly displayed to the recipient. When the recipient works on the 1st block shown to them, I want to display a message before they work on that block like 'This is the 1st block.' When the recipient works on the 2nd block shown to them, I want to display a message before they work on that block like 'This is the 2nd block.' Is the order of the randomizer recorded somewhere where I can access and save it as an embedded data so that I can display it to the recipient while they work on the survey?

I'd like to use a single embedded variable that has multiple responses for each respondent for skip logic, branch logic and filters in my dashboard. Is that possible and what is the best way to set up my contact list with embedded data?

Hey everyone. I'm trying to create a screening survey for usability testing. If a person doesn't match the requirements, I want to take them to custom 'end of survey' message as a "sorry you don't match" so I want this message to be different to the people who do match the requirements.I know I can do this through skip logic or survey flow. I tried this once with survey flow and skip logic combined and it worked. But this was a simpler survey, and the way how I did then, isn't working this second time around. I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong and if the first time I tried this was a fluke? ha. Hope someone can help. :) Thanks

Hello community,I can't find any information about which version of JS is supported in Qualtrics. Again and again, this makes it difficult to decide which functions may be used in custom code and which functionalities I have to find workarounds for.For example: A little while ago, I discovered that using 'async await' is not possible in Qualtrics -> it gave me an error message while trying to save it. Hi there, to ensure response data is stored separately from contact details, I have linked up two surveys. The first one collects response data, the second contact information.Unfortunately, there is still a possibility to link contact information to response data via the (start date and end date) timestamps that are stored for each record. Is there a way to turn off the recording of these timestamps for one of the two surveys, e.g. the second one? Or are there other suggestions how to decouple both surveys more effectively?Any help is much appreciatedIngo

HelloI have been researching "embedded data" feature to try and accomplish something however I have not been successful in understanding how to set it up.What I am trying to do is have a base/core survey URL and then manually add a unique variable at the end to make it unique that I can provide to a user. I want, only for one specific question of the whole survey, to change the surface color of the choice after selecting the choice. The question type is multiple choice with a single answer. So far the default color after clicking on the choice is purple. I want to change the color to red or blue according to the value of an embedded data in the survey. How can I do it? We have an international survey trying to gain participants from all over the planet (around 550 participants), but for some of our questions it would be helpful to separate out people from the same institution. They would give similar answers for items like test volumes and test methods.So, what I am asking is there an automated way to look at people with one institutional email... like wisc.edu, lumc,edu or harvard.edu?If there isn't an automated way to do it, how do I manually segregate responses by an individuals email?

Can I reset the Ballot Box stuffing?I have a survey students in a program are taking. There are three times a year students are directed to take this, and the students get an Anonymous link through the class Canvas page. I turned on the option during the first batch to prevent Ballot Box stuffing so that a student didn't accidentally take the survey twice. But now it is the second batch, and I need to allow that a few students that took the survey the first time will need to take it again.Ideally, I would like to reset the list of cookies/credentials that would be considered duplicates. Is there a way to do that?There are probably some workarounds, such as duplicating the survey. But ultimately I need to combine responses to analyze/report on them and that would add extra steps.

When we publish a library with changes we are asked for a name (like check-in code) but we don't know how to access the version (history like code check-in)?We see version history at the survey level but not at the library but looks like it is asking for publish name change which implies a version exists somewhere?Thanks.

Hi all,I want to conduct a survey for students, but most of the questions will be slightly different depending on if they attended school in-person, online, or a hybrid of the two. For example, there is a Survey Block about harassment, and in that Block...We'd ask the In-Person people "How often did you experience physical harassment at school?"We'd ask the Hybrid people, "How often did you experience physical harassment while attending school in person?"And we wouldn't ask the Online people about physical harassment at allBut, in all 3 versions of that Survey Block, we would want to ask all 3 groups an identical question about how often they experienced online harassment.What is the best way to make this happen? Hello,We are exploring the use of the survey platform for a registration process as all of the functionality in the survey platform works for what we are looking to do. The only thing I can't figure out is if there is a way to see the specific individuals who have not completed the survey. We intend on having a contact list for this survey but have not yet decided if we will use the email function or an anonymous link. If we do the link, respondents will enter an ID number that links back to the contact list. Any recommendations? The only workaround we have talked about is downloading the excel of who has completed the survey and then use formulas in excel to determine who is missing. Thanks!Mary Ellen

Hi everyone, I have 3 types of surveys which I would like respondents to complete - teacher survey, parent survey, child survey. I would like these surveys to be linked together so I know who is in the same class and in the same family. How do I go about doing this (especially with multiple children and both parents who want to take part).Can the respondents then take the surveys at any time e.g. child 1 takes it after school on Thursday, child 2 takes it after school on Friday etc. or does it have to be in the same sitting? What happens if they have limited devices on which to take the surveys?Since the children are younger than 15, they would need parental consent before they do the survey. Is it possible for the parents to click yes, they consent for their child to do the survey, then somehow they get a link or something for the child to complete? This is quite hard, as they need to note the link down?Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Hi all,I've been trying everything I can to make this work and can't figure it out. I'm trying to correct the trailing space that iPhones create when responders autocomplete a text field. (e.g. I want "ABCD" not "ABCD ")The solution that looks most promising is to use custom validation for the field and I thought I had it correct with "^[A-Za-z]$" but unfortunately, that won't permit anything to be accepted. We have a survey translated into Bengali. We only want respondents to get the survey link in Bengali. Here, we figured out how to make the anonymous link so that it always directs subjects to the Bengali version: https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/survey-module/survey-tools/translate-survey/#AddingTranslationsManuallyThat is, by adding "?Q_Language=..." to the end of the link.Our question is: how do we make the QR code so that it always directs subjects to the Bengali version of the survey?
