Triggers Based Off Incomplete Surveys

What are people using to trigger workflows for people who DID NOT complete a survey? I mean fully not completed, didn’t click in - not incomplete. For example, we want our HRBP’s to be notified 30 days after an onboarding survey was sent out, regardless of if an employee completed the survey. I have set up the workflow for those who did complete the survey, but I have been told nothing can be triggered to those who did not complete the survey. Does anyone have a workaround within Qualtrics? I’m sure our HRIS can do this from a hire date trigger, but looking to have this come from Qualtrics.

See participation rates filtered by time

Hello to the community, We have an onboarding survey sent to every new office employee across our organization for which we have built a dashboard. We currently have a participation rate table by country which gives us data on how many people were invited and how many people responded. I would like to filter that information by time periods (e.g. from Jan 1st to March 31st) so we can follow up on our hirings. However, I’ve noticed that data was not showing and read that time filtering was unavailable for participation rate table. Is there a workaround for this? I feel the data is so close to get, I would appreciate any recommendations on what I could do to have the information we need.

Field Editor - New Field Date Automation

Pulling in Termination Date as a Metadata field for Exit Survey. Haven’t worked with Field Editor too much, but not seeing an option to add a field in Qualtrics to pull out the Year of the Termination Date into it’s own column to use as a filter in my dashboard (“Everyone that has a Termination Date in 2024”). Does the Field Editor have this type of automation capability?

Dynamic Benchmarks in Lifecycle Projects

Hello community, I would like to ask for your support in better understanding how dynamic benchmarks are generated in the tool from a technical perspective. Specifically, I have doubts about whether it is possible to generate them using a metadata field like "Business Unit" in lifecycle projects that do not have an active hierarchy. Is this something that can only be achieved through an organizational hierarchy? If so, it would limit its use exclusively to Engagement projects. Additionally, I would love to hear about the use cases you have implemented in similar situations. Any experience or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Integrate different surveys to have a single Participation Summary" Widget in a EX lifecycle dashboard

Hi Qualtrics Team. For a EX Lifecycle project, we created a single dashboard that integrated 6 different surveys, in the specific case of the Widget “Participation Summary”, it shows information just for one of the surveys. Do you know how can we integrated the results of all the 6 surveys in the widget? there is no too many options to customize this widget and the client need to have only one widget. Thanks,

Unrecognized distributions Lifecycle (EX)

We are facing some questions while implementing a lifecycle (EX) project, we have three surveys associated each one to a financial benefit received by the bank employees, the invites are sent to the employees each time they make a disbursement of one of these benefits. The problem arises in the process of sending these invitations. After one day, the platform stops recognizing the participants to whom the invitation has already been sent, which causes it to indicate that it will send the survey again to all participants, instead of only to the new ones who have joined as project participants. Is there any way through which we can “Mark” the employees to whom we have already sent (even if they haven't replied to the survey) and include this filter as part of the metadata before sending invitations, to avoid this inconvenience

Survey candidate

Hi everyone, We are planning to send a survey to candidates who were not selected for the hiring process. In order to tailor the survey, we need embedded data about these candidates, such as the position they applied for, their country, and other relevant details. We do not require their contact information. The embedded data we need is available in SuccessFactors, and we are working on creating a connection to access it. However, we're concerned that importing all the candidates might "pollute" the employee directory, as it would include individuals who were not hired. Do you have any suggestions on how we can handle this situation more efficiently, or ideas for managing this data without affecting the employee directory? Thanks in advance for your help! 😊

EmployeeXM Expert Certification: Designing an Onboarding Survey_ Missing Employee Experience Folder

Hello, I need help. I am in the Training Hub and have created an onboarding survey project as part of EmployeeXM Expert Certification. I am at this task: To import a question from the library, click Import from library within the block. The questions can be found in the Employee Experience folder of the Qualtrics Certified questions. Within the Onboarding folder, click on the folder Introductions - The first week. There you will find all of the questions used throughout this survey. Import all of the questions from the Driver - Training folder However there is no Employee Experience folder. Only Customer Experience and one other. please can some advise how this can be rectified? Many thanks Trevor

Distributions via Teams for EX Projects

Hello everyone, Has anyone worked with distributions via Teams for EX projects? I'm particularly interested in whether this functionality works for Life Cycle projects. I tried following the steps to connect Qualtrics with a Teams user, but I noticed that the option is only available for Engagement projects, not for Life Cycle projects. Has anyone managed to make it work or found any specific documentation on this? Thanks in advance!

Is it possible to put an Opt Link for personal email in EX

My company is implementing personal email for onboarding at the first month, thrid month and six month. In my company not all our associates have a corporate mail due to their tasks is not neccessary to have one. For that reason we are using personal email however becuase its a personal email is not mandatory to receive corporate mailing. Im looking to have an opt Link for the personal mail invitation without affecting the other projects so the associate is able to get surveys from othr topics.

Hiring Manager Survey

Goal: Allow hiring managers to complete a lifecycle survey multiple times for different requisitions. Case: We have the employee directory built, but will be adding in a second automation to pull in Talent Acquisition data. At the end of each month hiring managers will be asked to complete a survey reporting on the requisitions they had closed. I’m aware of the multiple response functionality in lifecycle surveys and understand that it could be set to trigger when the requisition number changes, but how could we set this up to account for managers who may have had multiple requisitions in month? We are avoiding the generic link as we want to tie their metadata and not ask the manager to remember and enter the details of the requisition number, job title, etc.

How to transfer survey data via API for a Life cycle survey

Hi, I would like to know if there is a way to export the survey responses in an automated way via an API call. We do this for CX survey responses and distributions but is this also possible within EX? Specifically for a lifecycle or an engagement survey where i want to transfer the results into our HR reporting tool. Bart

Lifecycle Participant Import - "OR" function workaround

Hello XM community, I’m looking for guidance on how to build a workaround since EX lifecycle surveys do not allow an “OR” function on the criteria for participant import. We have employee lifecycle surveys set up, however some countries have different criteria than others -- for example, one country wants only employees from a certain work location to receive the surveys. In an ideal world, I’d have my participant import set up with multiple “OR” statements to account for these country differences: IF Country IS IN Japan, United States, China OR IF Country IS IN India AND Work Location IS IN Madurai Does anyone have an idea how I can solve for this? Maybe there is a way to create a metadata field in the Employee Directory? Or set up some other workflow? Thanks in advance!

Has anyone been successful with creating a new Employee Journey Analytics project from scratch ? (2 Engagement, onboarding, exit ) I keep getting error for too many rows

Helo Everyone, I am trying to utilize the creating a new Employee Journey Analytics project from scratch so that i can combine my 2 engagement surveys (2022 & 2024) , my onboarding 90 day and my exit survey (4 total surveys) together to see how our lifecycle data compares to engagement and the EX25 KPI’s. I ran this a few times and I keep getting an error for too many rows. What have others used to set up and did you join data and aggregate also? I know that joining data and aggregating data are two options and not sure if I'm setting this up correctly. I used a main demographic “branch” that all surveys have. below is the model I built and waiting for this to regenerate. Thank you!

EX participant import automation - empty values

Hi, I have a question on how Qualtrics treats “empty” values for embedded data fields with the EX participant import automation in lifecycle projects. Use case is as follows - onboarding survey, participants are pulled in based on “entry date” value (date = 30 days before today) on a daily basis. Now what we want: If the departure date is before today, then do not add to the survey (in case someone leaves the company within the first month or first 5 months). And possibly also: If the departure is not less than 14 days in the future, then send out a survey (so that employees who are about to leave do not receive an onboarding survey, as they will soon receive an exit survey). Unfortunately, you cannot set a negative condition, right? But if we enter 'less than' instead of 'more than', how will empty departure fields be treated? Would they still be added to the survey (empty = further in the future) or would they not meet the condition? Anybody encountered something like this? Thanks!

WHY CAN'T EX RESPONSE RATE WIDGET BY FILTERED BY TIME?????

I don’t understand why the EX response rate widget can’t be filtered by time. Makes no sense to me. It is showing response rate for the entire life of the survey. For ongoing surveys like onboarding and exit…seeing a response rate for the life of the survey is not helpful. My internal stakeholders want to know what our response rate was for a certain period of time (i.e. last quarter, last year, etc.) And, they want to see how response rates change over time, so we can evaluate distribution strategies, communication strategies, etc. They also want to be able to see if different populations have higher or lower response rates than others. I can filter the widget by all of my various metadata….but, again can’t see that over time. I’m having to spend all this extra time and energy manually calculating response rates outside of the Qualtrics platform. And, it isn’t an easy task. Because you have to try and merge data from the participant’s tab (which shows if they respondent or not) with t
