I’ve read a few articles saying bolding the email subject line may result in higher open rates. I figured out how to format the subject lines using rich text editor (you need to start in email message, format the subject line, and switch the type of email to subject). However, the subject lines don’t come through any different when the email is sent. I tested on Outlook and Gmail. Does anyone know if it’s possible for recipients to receive formatted subject lines?
We are trying to embed select2 in a survey to enable users to keyword search through and select a large, but finite, number of possible text responses. specifically, we are trying to pre-load roughly ~27000 job titles into a survey question where respondents are asked to enter their job title and then select from a drop-down menu that appears with a manageable sub-set of possible options. So, we’re hoping to provide things like: elementary teacher secondary school teacher music teacher kindergarten teacher and then have each of those return to the search string “teacher” and enable the respondent to then pick the one that is closest to their occupation. Hi All, I am adding some embedded data to calculate the percentage of a score. I use the following for the value of the embedded data field with the piped text in that calculation being the piped text for the scoring:$e{ ( gr://SC_emoKcRxLvqHeFTw/Score / 3 ) * 100 } Is there anything I can add here, so the results would be rounded when included in my report? Hi,We created the exit feedback from the guided template thinking that the dashboard will populate automatically. However we have no clue if someone has gone and deleted the dashboard by mistake or while created we copied the project and not created from scratch. Now we are in place there is no template to populate the dashboard. We are new to Qualtrics hence not good with dashboard building yet. Is there a way we can import the template to the current project? As we do not want to create the project from scratch as all the API and everything has set up with the help of the consultant.

I am using the ServiceNow task in a workflow to successfully generate a ServiceNow ticket upon receiving a survey response. The survey has a screen capture question in it and the primary purpose of the survey is for users to report issues with a site and then document the issues they captured which will then generate a servicenow ticket with all of the information the respondent has provided. I can get all fields to pipe recorded values into the ServiceNow ticket but cant seem to figure out a way to easily place the screen capture image results into the ticket description or attachments area. Id appreciate any help or advice on this. Thank you.
I’m currently using the new auto-complete feature in connection with an open text box. In my setting, participants report their supervisors name which is then encrypted and the original inputs are deleted afterwards using the script from this thread. Because I cannot risk having typos, participants need to pick the name from a list, instead of a free text entry. As each organization has more than 100+ supervisors, turning on auto-complete is good compromise. If I just use the regular text box without auto-complete, everything works fine. However, if I turn on the auto-complete feature, my javascript the name, but is not able to permanently change it. I suppose I need to access the field in a different way, but I’m not sure how. I want to add forced response to a matrix question for all options other than “Other”. I’m able to achieve this through custom validation but applying this to every question is a strenuous task and also increase loading time. Is there a way to use the following code that disables the next button until all but other option is selected. Hi, Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, but I was not able to locate it. I want to use the report feature in Qualtrics which presents the VVD Study charts etc. and I also want to see my Conjoint detailed results (like conjoint analysis, simulator etc.). But I am unable to add a VVD study inside my project which is setup as a conjoint study. Is this possible to do? To have both these different “Project Types” in the same survey? Thanks in advance!!
I have created a custom button in the header of my survey that specifies “I need assistance completing the survey”When someone presses the button, it should take them to a separate page that informs them that someone will contact them if they enter their email and/or phone number. I don’t know how to make the button do that. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Hi All,sorry but i have hit my limit. I’m too far in to not use Simple Layout or the SBS for these questions but Simple Layout is, simply, frustrating and/or my JavaScript is way too poor.I have forced response: 1 choice in Col 1, 1 choice in Col 2. But, now i’ve been asked that, if the last choice is made in Col 2, it should negate any choice in Col 1.i have tried editing code from here: and here: and even considered the @TomG code for enabling the removal of a selection (it would then require their trust to remove their selection in Col 1 if they choose ‘exclusive’, which is not ideal but ok given the limited end-users) - though my understanding is that it doesn’t work for Simple Layout. correct?Either i’m not getting the element names correct or something.My preference is to keep it as just the 2 columns as per top picture, below, but would also happily move that “exclusive” choice to a 3rd column is that’s easier.Also, if anyone has any creative work-arounds that will work in-page
We send surveys at different stages across the user journey. The data is completely refreshed on a weekly basis. ie if the respondent has moved to the next stage we will use revised embedded data. I want to run a purge and refresh routine to wipe the directory apart from retained emails to manage the contact frequencies (currently one month) - can this be done? ideally automated

Right now, I am using the drill down question format but this seem a long way to get to the end result I am looking for.Second, if there is a way to display the ID values, is there also a method of allowing the user to selectively make changes to the display information?What I am trying to do is use a look up value which then provides the associated values to questions with the end result including a question that asks what needs to be changed on what has been selected.Any suggestions would be appreciated and thank you in advance.

Hi there, I am trying to implement a couple solutions to my survey using code within the “header” and “footer” text boxes in the “look and feel” section. When I input the code in there and hit apply and run through the preview within that section everything appears to be working perfectly (the changes were to remove the footer on select pages and to have a back/next button at the top of the page). However, once I leave the “look and feel” section to return back to the survey builder and I hit preview to see these changes, they are no longer working. I return back to the “look and feel” section only to find that the code is gone and hasn’t been saved or applied. I hit apply and save every time I make a change but it doesn’t seem to be working. What am I missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated - thank you!! Jay
Good day,I am trying to create a survey which collects information from the user then, before submitting, asks the user if they have additional submissions for the same questions. It would be preferable, but not necessary, if this additional data created a new record. Basically, before submitting, I would like to ask the user if they have additional submissions and, if yes, be able to start the survey over again from the beginning.Any suggestions would be appreciated. Good afternoon, i’m hoping that someone here has something that may be able to help me. For most of our surveys we use a personal link, but do not send out with Qualtrics, rather I send the links to the appropriate account managers for them to reach out directly, then throughout the course of the survey period, I track progress and update the team by downloading the Distributions report and updating the tracking file. My issue lies in the fact that several of the account managers will ‘test’ the links first and make sure they are correct. (ie: They will click the link.) This then triggers the Distributions to say that the survey has started. This of course throws off the tracking because in the distribution its status is Survey Started because the link has been engaged. I thought that maybe if i deleted the in progress responses that are just the clicked links it would update the distribution to go back to Email Not Sent, but it still has it as Survey Started. Is there any way to comp
Hello, I get a very strange API error. When I use the responses endpoint to write responses into a survey, I get the error message “survey not found”. However, it works if I change the surveyID to a survey that is shared with me. So I can write responses in shared surveys, but not my own (same brand platform). Even if I copy the shared survey and use the surveyID of the copy, it is not working.Getting the survey response scheme works for all of my surveys. Any ideas, what’s wrong. Is there some setting in the survey that blocks my request?
If a respondent uses the “<” chevron to navigate to / revisit a previously answered question, is it possible with Java or CSS to clear their response to that question (so that they may re-answer it)?I haven’t been successful so far . . .
