I am having trouble with a bit a script that I was hoping someone could help me with.I have 3 multiple choice questions, all with the same response options. QID1 & QID2 are independent question, where respondents may select any number of different options. Then, when we get to QID3, I want any common options that have been selected across QID1 & QID2 to be autoselected at this question (so that I can use this to control subsequent working). e.g. if ‘Brand 1’, ‘Brand 3’ & ‘Brand 6’ are selected at QID1 AND ‘Brand 3’, ‘Brand 6’, ‘Brand 10’ & ‘Brand 12’ are selected at QID2, then ‘Brand 3’ & ‘Brand 6’ should be automatically selected when QID3 loads.I was thinking something along the lines of the draft below, but this doesn’t work. Does anyone know how to fix this to function as described above? can we put count on dynamic selection in the same question of graphic options selection question?

We are needing to have the ExternalDataReference exported for anyone who unsubscribes from a list or directory, ideally via SFTP export. Current functionality allows this for survey responses but not for unsubscribes. Any possible solutions here?

Hi all. I am attempting to build a survey item where respondents would select their top 10 choices from a list of 37. Is that possible? I know I can use a rank order question and just ask respondents to rank their top 10 that way, but I feel like there is a cleaner approach. Ideally, I’d love for respondents to be able to drag and drop an item out of the list of 37 into a rank order list. Is that possible? Thanks in advance!

We are adding embedded data fields in our digital intercept with success.There is a data type called XM Directory Contact Data and every support article I can find must be old because this option is skipped in every one.Can someone tell me what this is and how to use it?

Hello! I have an XM contact directory with several embedded data fields. I am trying to pull them in as embedded into a web intercept survey response.  We have followed all the steps here: https://www.qualtrics.com/support/website-app-feedback/common-use-cases/xm-directory-integration-with-digital-intercepts/ When we look at our pages source, we can see the visitors are being identified properly with our internal customer number.  That number matches the External data reference field in the XM directory. We can’t figure out the next step. The support article says it will happen “automatically” but it isn’t. We can see our customer number as embedded data since we set it in the intercept and as an embedded data field in the survey. How do we connect the external data reference from our website to the directory? I am missing something. Thank you for your help. It seems this should be easy!

I need to pipe in text of selected answers as a summary in the next question, but I need to exclude one of the options even if it is selected. Is this possible?

Hi Community,We need to receive a notification via email or tool when a percentage of responses to a survey is not reached compared to the previous day or last week.We've tried to do this from a Workflow by calling the same Qualtrics API, but there's NO call that gives me the total responses for a day and there’s no way to do a loop to wait a status change. Then, We tried to find a solution using the dashboard metrics to see if we could calculate a custom response count for one day versus the previous week, but it doesn't show anything in the numbers either (or we haven't been able to do it).In short, we need a solution to be able to receive a notification from Qualtrics when we don't reach the expected number or percentage of responses (the count of responses to the same survey last week) in a survey.Does anyone in the Community have any ideas on how to do this to get a starting point?.

I have custom end of survey message AND below that we have response summary (by default containing the Download PDF button). Is their static link for this download pdf that i can pipe on my custom message as well. I want to add custom labels to the NPS question type. I want the scale 0-6 to carry the individual labels "NO", 7-8 the labels "Maybe" and 9-10 the labels "Yes" 

I want to assign two conditional writing tasks to two different groups of respondents in the same survey, meaning. From a total of 100 participants, 50 participants should see the condition A question in the study, and 50 participants should see the condition B question in the same survey. how to do this? please note that questions from conditions A and B are in text writing format. 

Is there a report I can run that will tell me which of our users have never logged in? When I go to “Users” I can see “Last Login” column but I have over 1,300 users. Is it possible to export this data to Excel?

I have a survey in multiple languages. I have imported all my languages, but the toggle button is not showing on survey preview or on the anonymous link. I have reached out to support but has anyone else encountered this issue? Also, other past surveys of mine that have multiple languages the toggle button does appear. What gives?

Hi,I have a survey where I input the start and end date of my class(from the contact list). On the first question of the survey, using JavaScript, I calculate the number of days it has been since the class started and the number of days left till graduation using those dates. I assign these values to the embedded data fields “Days Since Cohort Start” and “Days Till Graduation”. Based on these values, the survey shows/doesn’t show certain questions. The embedded data fields are defined in the survey flow before the question with the Javascript.  The assignment of the values to the embedded data fields is not working. The reason I am assuming this is that - I have a console.log function in the javascript and so I am able to see that the script is running and the calculations are happening correctly When I manually set the “Days Till Graduation” the rest of the survey flow & the survey run correctlyAnother confounding factor is that I have the same JavaScript code on another survey an

I'm trying to replicate a paper form that requires a signature, and then e-mail a printable copy of this form to the respondent and the administrative personnel responsible for processing the form.I am using the Signature Question field but don't know how to embed its answer as with other survey questions or embedded data.How do I embed the response to a Signature Question in an e-mail trigger? I already tried checking "Include response report" and "Show full question text" but neither of those include the signature.

Hi all,Please help me with currently live survey. I have unintentional survey endings happening right now.My survey have 20 quotas. When the quota is full, I need to end, redirect another link and also record embedded data.In the quota setting, it only lets me end and redirect but do not record embedded data.So I used branch in survey flow and I put all the quotas as conditions. and let it record embedded data.The main problem is I used “OR” among quota conditions. I only realized today that when one of the quotas is full, the survey ends right there regardless of the response. It’s was my fault.I called support. They told me to use “AND” among quotas conditions. But the survey will continue even for the the quota full category since other quotas are not full yet. How do I record embedded data with all the quotas.Thank you for your time in advance. 

In QUaltrics, one can create a survey theme to be used in surveys. Themes can be built by using CSS code. However, when I go into my survey and select a theme, I would still have the option to add additional/other CSS code. My question is, which of the CSS codes takes precedence? The one from the theme or the one directly added in the survey?

Hi Community.  Suspect (hope) this will be an easy solve for some of you.  I’m struggling so would greatly appreciate the help. I'm putting together a survey for dog owners.  Part of the survey allows them to answer a set of questions for each of their dogs (ie. if they have 4 dogs they would answer those set of questions 4 different times).  Recognizing that people may have more dogs than they are willing to answer questions about, I want the survey to randomly select which of the dogs they answer questions about first, second, and so on.  This will mean I’ll need the respondent to provide the names of their dogs so the survey can prompt them as to which dog to answer the questions about.  I also want them to be able to exit that part of the survey after answering for a specific dog (e.g., have 4 dogs but completed the survey for 3 and would like to move on).  Here’s what I’ve done and where I’m running into problems.I asked how many dogs they have and have stored this as embedded dat

In my survey I have a constant sum matrix table with 2 columns and the total for the 2 columns must equal the value given for a previous question, e.g.: question_0: how many items did you buy? ; answer_0 = 10question_1:  for you for your friend apples a b oranges c d total e f I only want to allow the survey to progress when e + f = 10. Qualtrics offers to customize the “end of survey” page bei either showing a custom message OR by showing a response summary. However, I do not see any option to show the “response summary” page and at the same time customize the message that’s shown on that page. What can I do? … 

The support documentation (https://www.qualtrics.com/support/employee-experience/creating-ee-project/dashboards-tab/dashboard-management/dashboard-settings/field-types-ee/) says there is a finite set of values for a Field Type of Text Set. Where can I see what the limit is? Thanks

Is it possible to enable survey sections in stages, like the survey is in 2 parts but we only want the second part to be available at a later date in the future? We would like to run a survey where the first section is a “screener” which will be open to all for X days and only after X days have passed do we want the second section to be available at which point we will recontact the participants to take the 2nd stage of the survey. We want this to be in one survey because we will pipe in responses from the screener section into the main section. My first thought was to try and disable the next button based on an embedded data field and then see if we can update the embedded data field value via a URL parameter or in the contact list part way through but it didn’t seem to work for me. Has anyone done anything like this before, or does anyone know whether this can be achieved? Thanks! 

Hey everyone, I have a question I'm hoping someone can help I have allowed a text box entry for a question with "other" as an option. This is for a multiple choice, single answer question. When I preview the question, the textbox appears under the whole list and I'd only like it to show if someone selects other. Is this possible?Thanks for your help. :)

Hi, At my organization, we ask a lot of constant sum questions, but we also want to let our respondents skip them when they don't have the relevant data. As of now, it seems impossible to allow respondents to skip questions when 'Must Total' is selected. I think it would be ideal if the 'Must Total' validation was "activated" AFTER respondents enter ANY data into one of the constant sum boxes. So, in effect, if respondents don't enter any data, they can skip it without triggering the validation rules. The folks over at Product Ideas suggested I post the question here. Does anyone have the custom code to make this work? Thank you in advance - I'm a newbie with javascript!Also, I have added this request/idea to the Product Ideas page, and I've asked if they can allow the validation to be changed to 'Request Response' at a minimum or, ideally, if they can "activate" the validation as described above.If you think this should become a standard feature, please upvote it here: https://communi
